Later, I heard that Edward lost his heir status because he offended Julian, and his older brother took over.
I thought he must have hated me.
But unexpectedly, he came looking for me.
When he saw me, he grabbed my hand, his voice hoarse: "Did you get together with Julian to make me jealous?"
I couldn't help but laugh: "Where does your confidence come from?"
He gritted his teeth: "I don't believe it. You've liked me for so long, how could you just let go? You're lying, right?"
I pushed him away.
"Yes, I did wrong before. My mistake was pursuing you without any dignity."
"You enjoyed my kindness while secretly mocking me as your servant. Edward, don't you think you're really cool for that?"
"But I'll take responsibility for my mistakes. Please, don't show up in front of me again."
Suddenly, I smiled: "Edward, are you saying all this because you lost your heir status and want me to beg Julian for you?"
His face went pale.
I had guessed it right.
I pressed further: "Sorry, I won't only not help you, but I'll add fuel to the fire and make sure he continues targeting you."
"You still have some stock, right? Don't worry, in a while, you'll have nothing left."
Edward clenched his teeth: "Cecilia, how can you be so cruel?"
He stood in the doorway, unwilling to leave. Finally, he was dragged away by security, swearing. My sister's reputation in the industry was completely ruined.
Edward resented her, and although he reluctantly continued dating her under pressure, he was no longer gentle with her. He either beat her or scolded her.
Catherine, unable to endure it any longer, stabbed him, and she was detained.
But none of this had anything to do with me anymore.
After leaving Edward, I focused on my career, achieving both professional and romantic success.
While I was researching my second collaboration project, Julian guided me.
I gently kissed him.
