Chapter 4

　　Saturday.
　　I decided to prepare a big meal, and Maribel eagerly volunteered to help.
　　But even a grocery run turned into an incident.
　　The CEO lead appeared, his eyes bloodshot.
　　"I've been drugged."
　　Everyone, I was speechless.
　　Why was a domineering CEO lurking near the alley by a grocery market?
　　Does this make sense?
　　CEO: "Maribel, help me. I'll take responsibility for you."

　　I remembered now.
　　This domineering CEO was the second male lead, the female lead's second man.
　　Maribel looked conflicted.
　　"Mom, what should I do?"
　　I calmly held her back.

　　Then I pulled a pill out of my bag and shoved it into the second male lead's mouth.
　　"This is the antidote."
　　He froze.
　　"You carry antidotes with you?"
　　Me:
　　"This is just a small part of my extensive stockpile."
　　As the mother of a female lead in an erotic fiction, wasn't it reasonable to carry a few antidotes?
　　The second male lead took the pill but continued writhing on the ground.
　　"This antidote doesn't work! If we don't do something soon, I'll die!"
　　"Save me!"

　　Keep acting!
　　Maribel's heart softened.
　　"Mom, maybe I should..."
　　I pressed her back again.
　　"I'll handle this."
　　Then I turned and left.
　　A minute later, I returned with a vicious dog.
　　A true expert is always prepared.
　　In the alley.
　　The domineering CEO looked at the dog.
　　The dog looked at the CEO.
　　The terrier sniffed the air, its eyes instantly lighting up.
　　Awakened. Hunt mode activated!
　　With its tongue out, it charged toward the CEO.
　　I couldn't even hold it back!
　　Who's actually been drugged here, I wonder?
　　The CEO, terrified, instantly recovered. He leapt to his feet like a fish out of water.
　　Even the famous doctor would've praised his recovery.
　　"Thank you, I'm fine now."
　　I said nothing.
　　You're fine.
　　But the dog isn't.
　　It stared at the CEO, drooling excessively.

　　The sight made the CEO visibly tense.
