Chapter 2

　　The next day, I personally escorted my daughter to school. Once she went in, I changed outfits and sneaked in myself.
　　After class, Maribel went to the restroom. I followed closely behind. But when I turned a corner, she was gone.
　　I immediately searched the girls' restroom. Not there.
　　The area was deserted.
　　But at the entrance to the boys' restroom was a "Cleaning in Progress" sign.
　　Cleaning? During class break?
　　I walked in decisively and heard voices.
　　"We were interrupted yesterday. Let's continue."
　　"Let's see just how far you're willing to go."
　　...
　　Once again, Leopold.
　　He was everywhere.
　　I rushed forward and shouted from the door, "Fire! Fire!!"
　　Leopold instantly let go of Maribel and sprinted out at lightning speed, faster than a dog.
　　Maribel stood there, her clothes disheveled, her face flushed. She seemed dazed.
　　After a few moments, she squatted on the ground, head bowed, motionless.
　　I approached her.
　　"Maribel."
　　She looked up, startled, her eyes briefly lighting up in the darkness. "Mom? What are you doing here?"
　　"Grocery shopping," I lied effortlessly.
　　Maribel looked around awkwardly. "I don't like poops..."
　　... My daughter might not be the brightest.
　　I pulled her up and hurried outside. Leopold was still outside shouting, "Fire! The restroom's on fire!"
　　A few students gathered around. "The restroom's on fire? Did the waste catch fire?"
　　Leopold:?
　　He realized something was off.
　　Finally.
　　Got it. This male lead didn't seem very bright either.
