Chapter 2

　　The footsteps halted, and the door opened.
　　Blinding light flooded my vision, and a silhouette stepped into the room against the light. I instinctively held my breath. The door shut.
　　The room once again fell into darkness.
　　He seemed to have placed something down before walking toward me. I didn't have time to react before he pinned me down. I couldn't help but shiver. He was so close, right next to me on my left side.
　　"Jocelyn..."
　　???
　　Why does that voice sound so familiar?
　　"Kasey?"
　　I almost immediately let my guard down, the terror of nearly being scared to death flooding my mind. I forgot about the ropes on my wrists and raised my hand to hit him.
　　"What the hell, Kasey! Are you out of your mind?"
　　He reacted so quickly that the moment I raised my hand, he caught my wrist.
　　"Do you have any idea how scared I was just now?" I couldn't help but cry. I was truly terrified. He then pushed my wrist back down onto the bed, his breath growing closer again.
　　I stopped crying.
　　I froze.
　　"You..."
　　I didn't even have time to ask.
　　His kiss landed suddenly, tinged with the faint scent of alcohol, yet it was gentle, as if he were treating something precious.
　　"Jocelyn..."
　　He whispered my name again, his tone impossibly tender. My mind was almost on the verge of shutting down.
　　"Did... did you drink?" I turned my head away, unable to process his intentions.
　　He didn't answer. Instead, he leaned in, searching for my lips.
　　His other hand settled on my waist. What on earth is going on?
