Chapter 15

　　I thought we would have more time together.
　　But I never expected that parting would come so quickly.
　　That day, after leaving the supermarket, I suddenly had a craving for bubble tea and told Evander to go ahead and wait in the garage. He had just left when a black Pamela car pulled up in front of me. I immediately recognized it—Leopold Kensington's car. I turned and ran.
　　Two bodyguards in black stepped out of the car, grabbing me and shoving me inside. The driver slammed the gas pedal, and the car sped away.
　　The partition between the front and back seats slowly rose, sealing the back of the car into a confined space.
　　"Leopold Kensington, are you insane? Let me go!"
　　"Larissa, I've finally found you. There's no way I'm letting you go."
　　His tall frame loomed over me, pressing me into the corner.
　　Just as I was about to crash into the car door, his large hand swept down and pulled me into his arms. His icy fingers slid across my waist through the fabric of my clothes. Leopold must have lost his mind.
　　What was he planning?
　　Was he going to lock me up in a psychiatric hospital again? Absolutely not. The terror of being imprisoned in the past crawled over my skin.
　　I was frantic, shaking uncontrollably.
　　I curled into a ball, my back to my hands, trying to secretly send a distress signal to Evander with my phone.
　　But just as I unlocked my phone, Leopold forcefully pressed me into the corner, his long arm reaching in, unhesitatingly snatching the phone from my hand. I lunged to grab it back.
　　"Leopold! What do you think you're doing?"
　　Leopold raised a hand to stop me, using his other hand to roll down the car window. Then, with a look of satisfaction in his eyes, he threw the phone out the window, all while I watched in despair.
　　No!!!
　　After doing all that, Leopold pulled me close again, his head tilting to kiss my hair.
　　"Larissa, you're really disobedient."
　　"It's my fault. I shouldn't have let you leave me."
　　"From now on, we'll never be apart, okay?"
