Mrs. Green called me, eager to share the latest gossip.

Mrs. Green told me that Yvonne had indeed been fighting with her husband, and the car accident and amnesia story was just a lie Jared had come up with to deceive me.
What made me laugh, though, was that Yvonne's husband, that rich second-generation guy, was actually a distant relative of Mrs. Green. The two families had never kept in touch.
Mrs. Green, at my request, had inquired and learned that her distant nephew's wife had been cheating on him for some time.
So that evening, Mrs. Green handed the spare keys to Harrison Green.
He broke the door down and caught Jared and Yvonne in bed together, completely naked. He grabbed them both and gave them a good beating.
Then he took pictures and videos, posting them on a popular social media app.

Jared had yet to pass the exam when he was reported.
He had been caught in an affair with a married woman and was even caught red-handed by her husband, which almost landed him on the trending topics list. As a result, he was disqualified from the exam, and the second-place candidate took his spot.
