Chapter 12

　　After leaving Ismael, I had little contact with him.
　　Or rather, none at all.
　　He appeared frequently in the news, his dark circles heavier than before.
　　I stayed at home, preparing the last of my materials for studying abroad.
　　I hadn't deleted his phone number, nor blocked him on social media.
　　Occasionally, I wondered whether he would reach out to me.
　　But he didn't.
　　Not until the moment I was about to board the plane.
　　I opened my social media and sent him one last message:
　　[Ismael, I'm going abroad. Goodbye.]
　　The plane soared through the clouds.
　　At the far end of her vision, a complete and brilliant rainbow appeared.
