I know relying on others for an easy life is possible, but I need to understand the difference first.
After hanging up the phone, I contacted the finance department to check how much liquid capital the company still had and estimated how much the bank would lend us.
When you owe the bank a hundred thousand, you belong to the bank. But when you owe the bank ten billion, the bank belongs to you.
That's truly accurate.
Looking at the land I'm after, I estimate the funding gap to be at least 1.3 billion.
So, the gap between me and Kaeden right now is probably around 1.3 billion!
I still need to push a little harder!
Kaeden drove over to pick me up, but I told him not to bother. We'll meet at the auction venue—time is tight.
But he insisted, saying his newly bought car was gorgeous, and he had to take me for a spin.
Well, the pink sports car with the cute cherry-themed stickers really was stunning.
I sat in the passenger seat, holding a pink rose.
Kaeden began to pout: "Genesis, you've been ignoring me lately."
He looked so pitiful, like a big puppy.
I took my phone and started to take selfies while holding the flowers, smiling as I shrugged. "Sorry, you're just too jealous."
We all privately call him the "King of Jealousy."
Kaeden immediately admitted his mistake: "I deeply recognize my error and promise I won't do it again!"
I gave him a casual glance: "Do you expect me to believe that?"
Kaeden smiled like a sly fox: "Of course!"
I gave him a thumbs up: "You're tough, even fooling yourself."
