Chapter 12

　　As soon as I got off the plane, Alexander called me for a video chat.
　　In the video, he was eating his meal.
　　My sharp eyes noticed that the rice was all clumpy.
　　"You've let this rice sit for too long. It's cold now."
　　He laughed and put more food into his mouth. "I just finished two surgeries this morning. Got a bit delayed."
　　I couldn't help but feel bad. "Then at least heat it up! This isn't good for your health."
　　He smiled as he closed the lunch box, his tone almost coaxing, "Alright, I'll heat it up next time."
　　Just then, a guy in a parka approached me. "Hello, Miss Isabella? I'm here to pick you up, from the company."
　　I was surprised, wondering how he recognized me.
　　The guy smiled and said, "Oh, I listened to your speech when I was interning. I'm your number one fan."
　　Alexander coughed twice and raised an eyebrow with interest. "Miss Isabella?"
　　"How many other men are there outside waiting for you?"
　　Thankfully, I had my headphones on.
　　I blushed and explained, "There are no others."
　　The guy naturally took my suitcase from me. "Isabella, let's go."
　　I followed him.
　　In the car, he asked politely, "Isabella, are you cold? I left the car running and the heater on when I got out."
　　I untied my scarf and replied politely, "Thanks, it's warm enough."
　　"No problem, no problem! Other people don't get this treatment, but since you're Miss Isabella... Haha!"
　　Alexander murmured, "Since you're Isabella..."
　　I cleared my throat and told the guy, "Well... you're a pretty nice person..."
　　The young man immediately started talking non-stop. "Miss Isabella, I didn't expect you to be so easygoing, even a little cute."
　　I hastily ended the call, laughing awkwardly.
　　"We have plenty of tourist spots around here, they're quite interesting. If you want, I can show you around," he said enthusiastically.
　　"No, it's fine. Just focus on your work first," I responded.
　　"Alright, just call me if you want to go out! I'll be at your service anytime!"
