On our wedding night, I suddenly developed the ability to read minds.
Sebastian Sutherland leisurely wiped his abs, his gaze cold as he looked at me.
"Did you look at me, honey?"
"If you don't make a move, I might just put on my clothes. I really will."
He slowly put on his clothes, sat down at the computer, and typed:
"How can I make my wife take the initiative?"
I was at a loss for words. Was this really the same cold, distant CEO?
---
I didn't quite understand. He looked so reserved and indifferent on the outside, but inside, he was full of naughty thoughts.
I stood not far from Sebastian, watching him furrow his brows as he stared at the computer screen.
To anyone who didn't know, they'd probably think he was dealing with a difficult work problem.
Who would've thought that a cold, aloof CEO was actually searching the web because his newlywed wife hadn't touched his abs yet?
I couldn't help but sigh and tentatively called his name:
"Sebastian Sutherland?"
[Why is she calling my full name? We're married, why is she still so distant?]
His mind spoke before his mouth, and then Sebastian turned to look at me, his expression cold:
"What's the matter?"
I remained silent.
Honestly, this contrast was hard to get used to.
"Uh... Should we go to bed?"
I pointed at the bed and carefully asked him.
After all, tonight was our wedding night. Whether he was reserved or overt, we had to at least go through the motions.
[She wants to sleep with me! Does she like me too?]
[Indeed, abs are the most useful! I'll give my assistant a raise tomorrow!]
Sebastian nodded stiffly and coldly, saying with minimal words, a grunt: "Mm."
I said nothing.
I looked at his indifferent face, but my mind was filled with his wild internal thoughts. I couldn't help but slightly contort my face.
At this rate, I wasn't sure if he was going crazy, but I would probably go insane sooner or later.
Sighing, I took off my shoes and climbed into bed, finding a comfortable spot to lie on my side, ready to sleep.
[OMG, my wife is going to sleep next to me! I'm so happy! I've been waiting for ten years, and finally, I've married my wife! La la la!]
Hearing this thought, I immediately opened my eyes, staring in disbelief at Sebastian, who was lifting the covers to lie down.
I stared so hard that his face started to change color.
"What are you staring at me for if you're not going to sleep?"
His brow furrowed slightly, and his face seemed somewhat puzzled.
If it weren't for his thoughts being so loud, almost giving me a concussion, I might have actually thought that he hated me.
Though, to be honest, I'd always thought he did.
But now... it didn't seem like that was the case.
