Chapter 16

　　Sebastian's father left angrily.
　　As soon as I left the meeting room, I received a notice from my superior to go on a business trip. I had to go the same day and return the same day, without needing to bring luggage.
　　My phone happened to run out of battery, so I didn't notify Sebastian.
　　So when I saw him at the airport, his eyes red, blocking me, his prosthetic leg rubbing his calf until it bled, he looked at me with a face full of grievance and said:
　　"Anastasia, you have to give me a chance to explain." I didn't quite understand: "What?"
　　"My father did arrange a fiancée for me, but I didn't agree. I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to overthink... I was wrong. You can hit me or yell at me, but please don't just leave. Can you stay?"
　　"After all the hardships we've been through, are you going to leave now? Do you want to take my life?"
　　I finally understood a little. It was a bit funny, and also a bit heart-wrenching. I apologized to my superior and approached Sebastian.
　　"Does it hurt? Let's go to the hospital and check your leg."
　　"Don't do this again, I won't leave, please don't overthink it."
　　He rushed over, beads of sweat on his forehead, his bangs soft and sticking to it, looking obedient and pitiful.
　　Like a wet, eager dog waiting for its master's touch. I couldn't help but smile.
　　"Why are you laughing?"
　　Sebastian's expression was a little awkward.
　　"In the past, I always thought of you as an aloof figure, like the moon in the sky. But now, I realize, you're actually quite down to earth."
　　"Is that a bad thing?"
　　He was still in shock, his voice barely above a whisper: "Anastasia, don't you prefer the aloof man?"
　　"Of course not."
　　I turned and smiled at him: "I only like you." Sebastian's face instantly turned red and hot.
