Chapter 1

　　When I woke up, I had married my high school desk mate, Icarus, and had a three-year-old son.
　　This reality was hard for me to accept.
　　I pinched myself hard, so hard that tears welled up, and my face was swollen with a mark from where I pinched. Yet, everything in front of me remained unchanged.
　　The little boy beside me rushed over, nervously wrapping his arms around my arm, pouting and blowing on it, his watery eyes as round as grapes.
　　"Mommy, does it hurt?"
　　"No, it doesn't."
　　My body was stiff, and I cautiously patted his head, desperately signaling the nanny with my eyes to take him away.
　　Once the child was taken away, I relaxed a little, letting my shoulders drop as I rubbed my eyes.
　　I really couldn't understand.
　　Before going to sleep last night, I had been worrying about my graduate admission interview.
　　So how did I wake up to find everything turned upside down?

　　Icarus, my "unexpected" husband, was my high school desk mate, always brief with his words, his handsome face perpetually stern, coldly watching me doze off during class.
　　We went our separate ways in college.
　　He went to a top university in the north, I went to another top school in the south, and we never kept in touch after graduation. So how did we end up married with a child?
　　I didn't get it.
　　I covered my head with the blanket, my mind racing, but before I could calm down, Icarus pulled the blanket off me.
　　The tall, handsome man pressed his body against my back again, softly calling, "Lavinia!"
　　I jumped and shoved him away. "You—"
　　"Lavinia!"
　　He was pushed aside, his eyes instantly reddened. "Are you thinking about some other man outside again?"
　　"I've told you, you're the only one for me in this life. If you keep thinking about him, I'll make sure that bastard is dead. Do you hear me?"
　　I: "...Help!"
　　Can someone please explain what's going on here?
