I absolutely wasn't going to apologize.
I shoved Evander aside, turned around, and went back to my room, locking the door without hesitation.
He stomped his feet behind me, pointing at me as he asked my mom:
"Madam, is this the good daughter you raised? So arrogant and disrespectful! She's definitely not the woman I, Evander, will marry!"
My mom hurriedly said, "Evander, don't get angry. Rosamund is just childish. I'll apologize to Yvonne on her behalf."
"No need. She dared to bully Yvonne today, who knows what she might do next? I'm taking Yvonne away today!"
Seeing this, my mom furrowed her brows. "Evander, don't forget, the one marrying to you is Rosamund, not Yvonne."
"Heh, a vicious woman like Rosamund?"
Evander raised an eyebrow and sneered:
"Even if the Whitestone family offered ten projects to the my family, I still wouldn't marry her. I'll go back and convince Grandpa to annul the engagement. I'll only marry Yvonne in the future."
After he finished speaking, he strode out with Yvonne.
Yvonne left, and I clapped my hands in mock applause.
But I didn't expect that I wouldn't have to face her at home, but still had to deal with her at school.
When she "accidentally" broke my expensive fountain pen for the third time, I finally couldn't take it anymore.
As soon as class ended, I couldn't hold back any longer and shouted:
"Yvonne, do you have ADHD or something?"
Her face instantly turned pale, her lips trembling as she repeatedly said:
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"
I pointed to the broken glass cup, scattered notebook, and the fountain pen she just stepped on, sneering:
"In just one class, you broke three of my things, all gifts from my friends. Can't you just focus on your lesson? Is that so hard?"
My voice was loud.
Several of my good friends, who usually kept a low profile, quickly gathered around after hearing me.
With so many of them, they crowded around, effectively trapping Yvonne in the middle:
"Whoa! Isn't this the pen that Misa gave you last month? She bought it in France, it was really expensive."
"And this cup, I remember we made it ourselves when we went to the ancient town."
"And this notebook, isn't it the one you use to write your diary? It has many important memories of yours."
They looked at me with sympathy.
After a while, they all looked up in unison and blamed Yvonne:
"An apology is useless, these things are so valuable. At the very least, you should pay for them, right?"
