At two in the morning, Caspian suddenly posted a photo in the class group chat.
Immediately after came his voice message.
The background noise was chaotic, but it couldn't mask the derision in his tone:
"Caught another one, but her face is ugly. Let me just show you her body."
The girl in the photo wore a camisole, revealing her fair collarbone and waist, an image ripe for speculation.
Even though her face was blurred, my classmates quickly noticed the red mole on her collarbone and erupted:
"Isn't this Rosalie Vesper? She has a red mole in that exact spot—I'd recognize it anywhere."
"Wow, she acts so innocent normally, but she's actually this shameless? Sending photos like this to seduce Caspian?"
"She's Caspian's number one simp. What's surprising about this?"
The messages woke me up. I glanced through the chat log, frowning deeply when I saw the photo.
Back in my sophomore year, I had briefly liked Caspian Blackwood.
He had good looks, top grades, and an air of aloof melancholy stemming from his poor family background.
I thought we were kindred spirits.
But when he learned of my feelings, he sneered and said, "Rosalie Vesper? She's not my type."
It was a fleeting crush, never anything serious.
When I found out he insulted me, I promptly blocked all his contacts.
How could I have possibly sent him such intimate photos?
