　　Laurence frowned, glancing at the concert card.
　　The concert featured the legendary singer. While prestigious, it was nowhere near as impactful as a role in the film for Laurence's career.
　　His frown deepened.
　　Meanwhile, the livestream chat exploded:
　　"What's going on with Cecelia? She was adorable before, but now she's being so unreasonable!"
　　"Exactly! That's a once-in-a-lifetime movie opportunity. How can she ask for something so trivial?"
　　"But performing with the singer is pretty cool too! Who wouldn't want to sing alongside a legend?"
　　"Look at Laurence's face—he's definitely going to say no to Cecelia."
　　I nervously stared at him, straining to hear his thoughts.
　　But this time, I couldn't pick up anything.
　　The director urged him again.
　　Laurence gently pried his sleeve from my grasp and walked toward the film card.
　　Disappointment flashed in my eyes as I began calculating how to protect his leg this time.
　　He tapped the film's card. "Director's movies are indeed exceptional."
　　Then, with a flick of his wrist, he grabbed the concert card instead. "But how could I refuse Cecelia when she wants to see a concert?"
　　Without hesitation, he took the card and walked back to me. He tapped my forehead lightly and said, "Cecelia, only I would spoil you like this."
　　Me:"..."
　　Why was I suddenly... touched?
　　The same livestream chat that had been criticizing us moments before was now filled with ecstatic screams:
　　"Laurence is such a doting brother! I'm melting!"
　　"They say men who love their sisters make the best husbands. OMG, marry me!"
　　Of course, there were plenty of naysayers too:
　　"What an idiot. He gave up a Director movie for a concert? What a waste!"
　　But singer's fans weren't having it:
　　This incident caused quite a stir.
　　It even made a small splash on the trending topics.
　　Singer's fans immediately took action, launching a verbal fight:
　　"Excuse me? A performance with my star is a once-in-a-lifetime honor!"
　　"He was once the top idol! How dare you call him a has-been! I'll show you the strength of his fans!"
　　"I've already booked for the concert!"
　　"Me too, we must show our support for our singer!"
　　"And Laurence, you have good taste! You chose our star! If anything happens, we fans will have your back!"
　　As a result, Laurence unexpectedly gained more fans.
