Beryl rushed over like a startled calf, shouting, "This is mine—"
Before she could finish, Seraphine covered her mouth and dragged her to the back.
Seeing this scene, the other guests immediately understood what was going on.
Their gazes toward Seraphine immediately filled with disdain.
Even though the words came from Beryl, they automatically assumed that it was Seraphine who had taught her.
Seraphine's back teeth nearly ground to dust as she cursed in her heart, but she still awkwardly smiled and said:
"Great! Since you brought some too, now no one will get bitten by bugs."
Of course, she wouldn't admit that these were their sachets.
Otherwise, she would be admitting they were targeting us.
After all, Seraphine had established herself as the understanding and considerate person in the show.
But since she had said it, the other guests laughed and took the sachets, preparing to let the matter slide.
Suddenly, I grabbed the sleeve of one of the male guests and asked, "Sir, do you like this sachet?"
Seraphine's eyelids twitched uncontrollably.
She screamed inwardly, "What on earth does this girl want to do?"
The male guest awkwardly smiled, "I like it."
"Really? My brother likes it too, so he bought a lot online. If you like it, I can have him send you the name of the shop."
"..."
The smile on the male guest's face almost faltered.
He could only respond awkwardly, "Uh-huh, okay."
The other guests, who had been watching the entire scene, had a variety of expressions.
The online comments were just as messy, with a lot of chaos:
"This sachet obviously belongs to Seraphine and her group, they just didn't want to give it to Laurence, and now it's been exposed."
"So Beryl's sachet was bought online?"
"She's only eight, but already so scheming. No wonder her eyes are always darting around like she's guilty."
"It must have been Seraphine who taught her."
"I've been a fan of Seraphine for two years, she's not that kind of person. It's definitely Beryl's fault for not wanting to share. She grew up in the countryside, so it's normal for her to have some bad habits. Don't blame everything on Seraphine."
"..."
On the other hand, Laurence was in a great mood. He gave me an approving glance from afar, his back turned with a confident, carefree swagger, looking quite cool.
He gave off the impression of a cold, ruthless man.
But inside, he was screaming:
"Ahhh, my sister is so clever! This is definitely from me, she's really my sister."
Me:"..."
Laurence, I think you might be a little too deep in your own misunderstanding.
