Chapter 1

　　Three years into the zombie outbreak, humanity had lost its way. Morality had disintegrated, and human decency was extinct.
　　In these dire times of extreme scarcity, my boyfriend and sister sold me to a brute for three loaves of bread.
　　Before me, he had already tortured six women to death.
　　After a harrowing struggle, I managed to escape from his grasp. As I fled, my sister blocked their pursuit and sneered coldly:
　　"Let her go. Outside, it's all zombies. She won't last long and will come crawling back on her own."
　　Over the past three years, I had risked my life countless times to save them. Yet, this was how they repaid me—with betrayal.
　　Disheartened and standing amidst a horde of zombies swarming toward me, I slowly closed my eyes.
　　Suddenly, a gust of wind swept past my ears. The growling of zombies and the stench of rotting corpses vanished in an instant.
　　Confused, I opened my eyes to find myself in the lobby of an opulent hotel.
　　A crystal chandelier sparkled overhead, the tiles on the floor gleamed like mirrors, and the lavish decor radiated grandeur.
　　Was this... paradise?
　　"Ding! Welcome, Host, to the Paradise System."
　　I asked in confusion, "What is this?"
　　"As the name implies, this system creates the ultimate sanctuary in the apocalypse. It shields against all disasters, natural or human-made. As the administrator of this sanctuary, the Host holds absolute authority. No one can harm the Host within this sanctuary; violators will face warnings or elimination.
　　"The Host can upgrade the sanctuary by completing tasks. Currently, the Host is in the lobby of the first hotel building, which has eight floors. Additional amenities such as dining, entertainment, and leisure will unlock in later stages. Now, please name your hotel."
　　After the system finished speaking, an electronic screen appeared in front of me.
　　After thinking for a moment, I said, "Let's call it Paradise Resort."
　　I hoped this place would become a haven for the wandering and lost.
　　"Ding! Paradise Resort has officially launched. Opening gifts: one administrator suite, all guest rooms on the first floor unlocked, unlimited water supply, and unlimited access to instant noodles and bread. Host, please proceed to the administrator suite."
