Chapter 10

　　Thinking this, I spoke coolly. "Even if Ciara's social media posts are fake, what do you want by bringing me here and telling me this?"
　　I gazed at Kevin's face.
　　Kevin was silent for a moment, pursing his lips before continuing. "Siena, if you entrust the three children to their father, Wyatt, I can set aside the past and take you back."
　　Clearly, he was the one making the overture, yet his words still carried an air of superiority.
　　Hmph! How laughable!
　　"Sorry, I don't need that!"
　　Leaving those words behind, I turned to leave.
　　But Kevin, in a fit of anger, pressed me onto the sofa. His eyes bloodshot, he spat out, "Siena, I've made such concessions. What more do you want?"
　　"Nothing. Too late to cry over spilt milk. Right now, I don't need you anymore."
　　Kevin wanted to say something more, but suddenly there was loud knocking at the door.
　　"Hello, we're the police. Please open the door!"
　　Hearing the voice, Kevin gritted his teeth. "It's you?"
　　"Yes."
　　I had called the police the moment I stepped inside.
　　With the police there, Kevin couldn't force me to stay.
　　When I returned to the villa, the banquet had already ended.
　　The triplets were sleeping soundly under my mother's care. I told her to go to bed and lay down next to the triplets.
　　The next morning when I woke up, the house was quiet, and I didn't see the three children.
　　I asked the nanny and learned that Konner and my mother had taken the triplets to the amusement park.
　　While abroad, even with hired help, Ryland kept falling ill, and I couldn't manage, so the children didn't go to the amusement park often.
　　Thinking that they could now go to the amusement park whenever they wanted after returning home, a smile appeared on my face.
　　I didn't idle either. Having completed my studies abroad, I planned to establish my own studio upon returning.
　　While I was busy, the phone rang.
　　It was my mother calling.
　　As soon as I answered, my mother's crying voice came through. "Siena, Ryland is missing!"
　　"What?" My heart leaped into my throat.
　　"We were playing at the amusement park, and everything was fine, but then we suddenly realized one of them was missing..."
　　I didn't hear the rest of what my mother said, and I hurried to the amusement park.
　　By this time, four hours had passed since Ryland disappeared. The police arrived and began searching the amusement park while checking the surveillance footage.
　　Finally, when the amusement park closed at night, there was a development.
　　The surveillance footage showed that a woman's suitcase was the right size to fit a child, and she hadn't been carrying the suitcase before entering the amusement park.
　　The search for the woman was then handed over to the police, who conducted a city-wide search.
　　Konner also mobilized his connections and instructed them to contact him with any news.
　　But it was already late at night, and ten hours had passed since Ryland disappeared...
