Chapter 17

　　The little boy, holding the ice cream, skipped over to a little girl.
　　"This was given to me by a very handsome big brother and a very pretty big sister." The little boy puffed out his chest. "Here, have some."
　　The little girl took it. "Why are you giving it to me?"
　　The little boy said, "Don't ask so many questions, just eat it."
　　The little girl smiled sweetly.
　　She took a bite of the ice cream and suddenly exclaimed.
　　The ice cream had melted.
　　A small silver rose brooch fell out of the cone.
　　On the tip of the brooch was hooked a large, sparkling pink diamond ring.
　　The little boy held the rose brooch.
　　The little girl held the ring.
　　They looked back together.
　　The sun had set, leaving only a garden of roses blooming endlessly.
