One person, one werewolf, and one dog.
I thought life would continue peacefully like this. Until I was kidnapped.
The kidnapper was a frail young man, a rival from Montague's family, frantically shouting at his phone, demanding that I pay with my life.
[Seems like that cold, aloof older brother has made quite a few enemies.] I thought to myself.
This kidnapper was very inexperienced. He looked fierce, like he was making a desperate last stand, but in reality... he hadn't even drugged me.
The bracelet was a gift from Edmund, specially made with a blade inside.
I carefully extracted the blade hidden in the bracelet, cutting the ropes. While the kidnapper was still shouting into his phone, I quickly grabbed a knife from the ground and pressed it to his throat.
There was only him in the empty space.
I tied him up with the rope. The more I thought about it, the more something didn't feel right. How could such an incompetent person have bypassed the bodyguards to kidnap me?
It wasn't until Edmund's older brother found me, his face darkened, and he said: "Edmund is in trouble."

In this world, the werewolf pack has two factions.
One faction advocates peaceful coexistence with humans, blending into human society as much as possible, and is led by the Montague family.
The other faction views humans as food, fantasizing about slaughtering them and ruling over them—a villainous faction. Humans, of course, are no easy prey.
After several battles, the two factions united to eliminate the villainous faction, wiping them out so thoroughly that they could no longer pose a threat.
The surviving members of the villainous faction now harbored a deep hatred for the Montagues.
Once, they nearly killed Edmund, but I interrupted them and took him back home to heal. Now, they were orchestrating a fake kidnapping of me to lead Edmund into their trap...
"It's that forest."
Edmund's brother's face was grave as he told me:
"They tricked Edmund, telling him you were inside."
"When I got there, Edmund had already killed all the werewolves surrounding him, and he was badly injured."
"Not only that, he thought you were dead, and he's gone insane."
"Only a mate can calm a mad werewolf... Sorry, you may need to go into the forest."
"It's alright."
I waved my hand without hesitation and said, "Take me there."
Edmund's brother transformed into his wolf form, a massive two-meter-long wolf, and crouched down in front of me. "Climb on. I'll take you there."
I hesitated for a moment, then climbed onto his back, gripping the fur around his neck, and we sped through the forest.
When I finally saw Edmund, I was shocked. My poor Edmund was nowhere to be found.
Instead, I saw a wolf, its fur drenched in blood, headbutting trees, howling loudly, nearly ripping its eyes out in rage. It didn't even look like a wolf anymore.
