Chapter 2

　　Finding the werewolf was purely accidental.
　　At first, I thought he was just a stray dog, but on the third day after I brought him home, I discovered he had turned into a human.
　　He was lounging on my couch, casually munching on chips while watching TV.
　　His tail happily wagged from side to side, and his ears twitched with joy whenever something caught his attention.
　　In that moment, I must have silently recited biological evolutionism in my head.
　　Later, with a look of disdain, he explained to me that he was a werewolf, and only then did I realize he was a fully evolved being of his kind.
　　"So, can you stop eating dog food?"
　　I asked, pinching his ear playfully.
　　"Don't... don't pinch it!" He blushed deeply, steam practically rising from his face. He took a step back and responded seriously:
　　"I want meat, not dog food."
　　"I'm not some lowly species that wags its tail and begs humans for attention, like a dog."
　　I: "..."
　　He's a bit difficult to take care of.
