Basil later explained his upcoming plans to Lettie, informing her that in the new film, the two of them would play sisters.
The plot revolves around the younger sister falling in love with her elder sister's fiancé, who often visits their home. Out of guilt and to fulfill her sister's love, the younger sister marries her childhood friend. However, the fiancé never returns from the battlefield, making the story's ending regretful. The fiancé and the younger sister cannot be togather despite their true loves, the elder sister doesn't get the love she thought she had, and the childhood friend believes he saved the younger sister, unaware that he is the one who caused their lifelong tragedy.
This was the first time Cierra heard the plot spoiler, realizing she would play the younger sister. She thought Basil must have a lot of faith in her, giving her a role with so many emotional twists for her first acting job. Wasn't he afraid she'd mess it up?
However, Lettie happily grabbed Cierra's wrist and shook it, saying, "We're going to play sisters! What a coincidence! Just call me Lettie from now on."
Her face showed genuine joy, but Cierra frowned.
She wasn't sure about fate, but she knew her wrist hurt from Lettie's long, sharp nails. She silently stared at the crescent-shaped marks on her wrist for a few seconds, deciding not to tell Basil about it. After all, she didn't know if Lettie did it intentionally or not. If it was intentional, it meant Lettie also cared about Basil, bringing them one step closer to success. She could endure these minor physical pains.
"I entered the entertainment industry a few years before you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me," Lettie said, her slightly upturned eyes forming a bewitching curve, effortlessly overshadowing her inexperienced opponent.
Cierra nodded and softly thanked her, lowering her eyelids to hide the emotions in her eyes.

In truth, being a supporting role in life was a very tragic thing, feeling like she had the worst luck. She had not only transmigrated into a book as the female supporting character, but also stumbled into the entertainment industry, playing a supporting role to highlight the female lead. Cierra curved her lips, making up her mind, and turned to face Basil with a grand and generous smile. "Mr. Logan, aren't you afraid that such praise in front of a big star will make Cierra jealous?"
Sure enough, upon hearing Nelson's title, Lettie's gaze turned much more serious. "Is it the famous Mr.Jarvis?"
Cierra turned to look at Lettie again, pulling out a sweet fake smile. "Yes, Mr.Jarvis is my acting teacher. Only Mr. Logan could invite him out of retirement to take me as a disciple. This film is my debut, with roles tailored just for me, so I'll be counting on Lettie to take good care of me."
Cierra deliberately spoke ambiguously, hinting that the film existed because of her. She then gave Basil a meaningful look, thinking to herself not to waste her efforts acting like a scheming woman to provoke Lettie's competitive spirit. Hurry up and win over your beloved; that's the real solution!
She leaned her body towards Basil, following his earlier advice to "smile and relax." Her face gently rested against his arm, creating the illusion that they were "quite close."
Maybe it was just as Basil said: things that come too easily are not cherished. People are just like that, always craving what others have. Look at Lettie now, with a face that looks like she wants to eliminate Cierra and take her place. Does this mean Cierra's acting was just right?
Oh yeah, she was really impressed with herself.
"Basil," Lettie's slender fingers gently rested on Basil's shoulder, her beautiful eyes misty, and her red lips slightly parted with a hint of seduction. "I also want to meet Mr.Jarvis. Can you introduce me?"
The beauty's sweet voice made Cierra's whole body go weak. She thought that if she were Basil, she would be willing to give up her life to grant her wish!
