Chapter 15

　　Rhianna woke up to the midday sun.
　　Her sleep had been filled with bizarre dreams.
　　And the things of last night... felt like a ridiculous dream.
　　But now, lying naked in Rylee's bed, she knew it wasn't a dream.
　　Rhianna didn't know why Rylee had acted that way last night, nor did she want to understand the reasons.
　　She just felt very tired. The house was silent; Rylee seemed to have gone out.
　　Rhianna wrapped herself in a blanket, returned to her room, changed her clothes, tied her hair back with a hairband, grabbed her luggage, and left.
　　Her twisted ankle still ached but didn't hinder her walking. It was shift change time, and there were no guards downstairs. Rhianna had already booked a car and left the military district as soon as she got in.
　　When Rylee returned, the place was empty. He was holding a steaming breakfast—egg tarts and date milk from the West District that the girl loved.
　　The bedsheets still carried her scent. Lying on the bed, it felt as empty as always.
　　Rylee got up to cancel his leave. Perhaps only work could numb him.

　　Back in her cozy home, Rhianna felt refreshed. She told herself not to dwell on the chaotic and ambiguous moments with Rylee.
　　Living peacefully now was rare. She couldn't afford to let herself be troubled by him again, much less fall for the illusion of love. After all, Rylee's unique affection for Arely was clear to Rhianna.
　　After applying some ointment to her ankle and resting for a day, Rhianna reported to the set of "Deadly Crime" a day early.
　　Even though it was a cameo role, Rhianna took it very seriously. She brought plenty of snacks for the cast and crew. As she walked into the set carrying several large bags, she was almost mistaken for a visiting fan. However, Lauryn had informed them beforehand.
　　By the end of the morning, Rhianna had gotten to know everyone on the set. The director had a good impression of this eager young actress—beautiful and emotionally intelligent, someone well-suited for the entertainment industry.
　　The set was always busy, with hardly any breaks. In the afternoon, they were filming the first scene of the episode Rhianna was guest-starring in. Although she wasn't in this scene, she stayed on set to get into the atmosphere early. To her surprise, she ran into a familiar face—Javion.
　　Javion was also guest-starring in this episode.
　　Having just finished a project together, Rhianna was delighted to see Javion. The shoot was about to start, and Javion, already in makeup, nodded at her.
　　After a tense afternoon of filming, Rhianna gained a deeper understanding of her role. She also saw many people working hard for their dreams.
　　Every profession is challenging, and getting noticed in the entertainment industry and landing good roles is even harder. Rhianna felt she was very fortunate, so she needed to work even harder not to waste this luck.
　　Watching Javion's scenes, she was captivated by his acting skills. This future star, who would win numerous awards and gain a huge fan base in five years, truly deserved his reputation.
　　Javion had no idea what Rhianna was thinking. Seeing her so engrossed in his performance made him slightly nervous.
　　He always studied his scripts thoroughly, experimenting with multiple ways to convey emotions and techniques. On set, he usually nailed his scenes in one take. But for some reason, when Rhianna watched him so intently, he felt the same nervousness he had during his drama school entrance exam, wanting to show his best self in front of her.
