　　For half a year, Sara and Jamie had been inseparable, their relationship growing increasingly intimate.

　　Outside, snow was falling heavily. Jamie and Sara stood by the window in silence. After a long while, Jamie broke the silence, "Don't worry about me. I'll support you no matter what decision you make."
　　Sara sighed, wrapped her arms around his waist, and buried her face in his chest, speaking in a muffled voice, "I found a new job. After the gap, I have to start work... we're going to have a long-distance relationship."
　　Jamie's body stiffened, but he gently patted her back and said softly, "My grandmother's health is poor, so I can't stay in your city for long, but I'll visit you often. Don't worry about it."
　　"That's good." Sara rubbed her face against his chest, "Let's go see my parents together more often."
　　Jamie paused, incredulously asking, "What do you mean, together?"
　　Sara lifted her head, a mischievous smile replacing her previous look of worry, "My new job is next to your company."
　　Jamie was stunned for a moment by the overwhelming surprise. Realizing she had been teasing him, he couldn't help but smile and asked, "Long-distance relationship?"
　　"Next door!" Sara exaggeratedly spread her arms wide, "That far, how is it not a long-distance relationship?"
　　Jamie sighed, pulling her back into his arms, his hand gently stroking her hair. After a long while, he whispered, "I'm sorry for making you live apart from your parents..."
　　He knew why Sara stayed, how could he not be moved, how could he not feel guilty.
　　Sara shook her head and whispered, "I'm the one who should apologize... if it wasn't for your grandmother telling me, I wouldn't have known you've been waiting for me all these years."
　　It was last month when Grandma Lorelei fell ill and was hospitalized, thinking she wouldn't make it, she held Sara's hand and told her all about Jamie's years of waiting, just hoping her to be patient with his sometimes stubborn nature."
　　Sara had been overwhelmed with emotions, hugging Jamie and crying for a long time.
　　Hearing this, Jamie sighed again and hugged her tighter, "Sara, you don't need to apologize for this anymore."
　　"Because I think the wait was worth it." He said, "Your love made those twelve years so meaningful."
