Chapter 34

　　Lawrence returned to the office from the law firm and shut himself in, refusing to see anyone.
　　Finnegan was there with him.
　　They were trying to find out if Susie had come to the office that day.
　　"Boss, I've checked everywhere. There's no sign of Susie coming in!"
　　Lawrence gave him a sharp look, and Finnegan hesitated.
　　"Did you just call her Susie?"
　　Finnegan quickly corrected himself, "Madam!?"
　　Lawrence turned back, continuing to scrutinize the surveillance footage.
　　Could she really not have come?
　　"Are all the surveillance tapes here?"
　　"Yes, I even brought the ones from around the office," Finnegan replied, noticing Lawrence's furrowed brow. He started rechecking the footage himself.
　　Lawrence continued searching, not missing a single person passing by.
　　Four hours later, they finally spotted Susie in a corner of a surveillance camera behind the office building.
　　Lawrence's breath caught.
　　She had been there that day.
　　He leaned closer to the screen, checking the time. It matched the time Rachel had come to see him.
　　Lawrence leaned back in his chair, frowning deeply.
　　Seeing Susie's heartbroken figure, he could guess that she had come to see him and must have witnessed Rachel kissing him.
　　No wonder, no wonder she was so determined to divorce him.
　　Bang!
　　Lawrence kicked his desk hard.
　　Finnegan flinched, turning to see Lawrence's furious expression.
　　"Boss, should we keep looking?"
　　"No need. Go back to your work."
　　Lawrence grabbed his coat and strode out of the office.
　　"Mr. Sutton..."
　　Rachel approached, wanting to discuss a contract, but he shot her a fierce glare.
　　Lawrence, his face dark with anger, walked into the elevator and headed downstairs.
　　Rachel watched him leave with a bitter expression. Now he treated her with such cold indifference?
