The process of studying abroad was arranged swiftly by my parents. Perhaps they also thought I wouldn't fare well in domestic universities...
Jordan kept posting about his dates with Aria on social media,
I found it amusing. I used to think that I had blocked him because I didn't see him, turns out he just hadn’t been active on social media before.
But I didn't block him this time, because I got a new phone number and only added my parents and other friends I made while studying abroad.
Several years passed quickly, and after completing my postgraduate studies, I decided to stay overseas.
Until my dad called: "Your grandfather's turning eighty next week, remember to come back then." My dad never beat around the bush.
I hesitated for a moment, then agreed.
I haven’t been back for years; it's always been my parents flying over to see me. I haven’t seen my grandparents in a long time, and I miss them a lot, so it's only right to go back and visit.
As for those three annoying men, although I haven't heard any news about engagements or weddings, they're probably still enjoying their time with their beloved Aria.
The Foster family seems to be doing well, so if I go back, there shouldn't be any problems, right?
Besides, that annoying system hasn't bothered me much lately.
My friends in United States were thrilled to hear I was coming back and wanted to make plans to meet up.
Except for one troublesome fellow.
Ethan: "Come on, darling, I really need your help.I have a very important press conference but I can't go. It happens to be the first day of your return, so just do me this favor, okay?"
I scoffed, "You incompetent journalist."
Ethan cooed over the phone, "You don't even need to ask questions at the press conference, just take a few photos, and I can fulfill my duty."
Me: "Heh."
Ethan: "I'll give you the contact information of ten hosts."
Me: "Deal."
