Chapter 26

　　Many years later, I encountered Serena once again.
　　By that time, both our hair had grayed. She reminisced about the past but still harbored some bitterness.
　　"Jenna, after Xander's car accident, everything could have returned to normal, and I was meant to be his female lead."
　　"Why did he still not love me even under the condition that he had forgot you?"
　　Unsure of what to say, I turned to look at Xander in the distance.
　　He remained tall and handsome.He still made my heart skip a beat even at this age.
　　"Haven't you found your own male lead?"
　　Serena sighed softly, her eyes also on the distant Xander: "I can't marry with regret."
　　Ignoring her sentimentality at an old age, I walked toward Xander.
　　He approached me and took my hand.
　　Our grandchildren were playing with a pair of exquisitely crafted dolls.
　　They suddenly noticed words inscribed on the doll's base.
　　With youthful voice, they read aloud.
　　"Jenna loves Xander." 
　　"Xander loves Jenna."
　　"Wow, those are grandma and grandpa's names!"
　　Xander and I exchanged smiles.
　　The greatest blessing of my life has been that the story ended as Xander and I had hoped.
　　We ultimately achieved our perfect ending.
