Chapter 11

　　In a month, it will be my birthday. Recently, I've felt my health deteriorate.I took more painkillers now, but the pain is getting worse.
　　Dr. Damen also told me that my prognosis isn't good. I've been clinging to Simon, repeatedly asking him in his ear, "Can you take me to see the Northern Lights?"
　　"Didn't we agree to go next year?" he responded.
　　"I can't wait that long," I insisted.
　　Do you know what the Northern Lights symbolize? They represent luck, and those who see them are said to gain a lifetime of happiness. Worn down by my persistence, Simon finally relented, "Alright."
　　"Really?" I pressed.
　　"Mhm," he confirmed.
　　Instantly, my eyes lit up, and I hugged his neck, planting a kiss on the tip of his nose. Simon froze for a moment, but he did not push me away.
