Chapter 85

　　James rolled his eyes, he was struggling to believe what Diego just said to him and what shocked him the most is the fact that Diego was laughing about it, he was shocked to see that Diego finds it funny.
　　'You are kidding right?" James asked Diego, he was looking at Diego hoping to hear that Diego was just pulling his legs and had nothing to do with his fathers death.
　　'Kidding you? What language is that? I don't joking." Diego said to James reluctantly. James couldn't feel his legs at this point he was struggling to accept the truth that Diego just broke to him.
　　He remembered all of a sudden that the day his father died he was on a phone call with a person and he just stepped out before he got back he heard his dad was dead. James could recall that the day his father died, Diego called him to send him a condolence message.
　　When he asked how he already found out, Diego laughed about it and told him to try to find out as he always gets information his own way. Back then James did not take the word so seriously because he knew Diego is a wolf lord and he has men everywhere so they must have told him about it.
　　James now believed it when Diego said he is only but a spoiled little boy that knows nothing, he stayed his fist and raised his head to look at Diego. The anger was obvious on his face as he was staring at Diego.
　　'What about Robert?" James asked Diego, when he asked the question he was hoping Robert wasn't framed because he will never forgive himself for that. Diego turned to look at him the moment he heard the question James asked.
　　He smiled and lowered his head again, it looked like he was thinking whether to talk or not.
　　'Tell me, why did we kill him as the murderer? Why did you tell me he murdered my dad?" James asked Diego angrily. Memories rushed back to Diego how he thought of the smartest plan he had ever come up with.
　　'I framed him." James clenched his fist and there was a throbbing vein in his neck. He was so angry at himself and Anthony. He couldn't believe he was used by his fellow man, he remembered clearly that day Robert begged for his life denying that he did not kill his dad but he did not believe Robert because he had so many reasons to kill his father and all these reasons were listed to James by Diego to convince him.
　　'What are you saying?" James asked Diego, finding it hard to believe that the man he killed was innocent and he had been moving with the one that actually killed his father. James was at the last stage of his anger and at this point he can pull the trigger into Diego's head.
　　'I found the best way to get what I have always desired. I killed your father, and I noticed Robert was still on the way actually blocking my success, so I had to look for a way to make you believe he killed your father then use you to make everything easier. And everything worked the way I planned." Diego explained everything with a smile on his face. James shook his head, he felt so betrayed that he wanted to pull the trigger immediately.
　　He put his hand in his pocket and brought out a gun. The moment Diego men saw this they all stretched their guns and pointed it at James.
　　Diego was unmoved and still laughing at the whole thing. 'I used you to achieve what I wanted and you stupidly fell for it because you are not smart." Diego laughed at James. James raised the hun very well and pointed it at Diego.
　　'I always wanted to be in the spot of the Augustine's, I did everything but was still unable to beat that. So I had to think of a better way to get there faster than I could have ever imagined, and I was able to use you." James shook his head, he was also sorry for Diego because it's obvious that his mental health is messed up already.
　　'You are crazy." James said to Diego and set the gun very well, the place was getting more tense as Diego men were not ready to take chances at all. They are ready to pull the trigger and also James men.
　　'Are you going to shoot me?" Diego asked James with a serious look. Then all of a sudden again he started laughing. James shook his head when he saw Diego laughing.
　　'You've really gone mad." James said to Diego after he shook his head. James remembered the amount of people he had killed because of the influence of Diego.
　　'I was just a tool for you to get what you want." James said to Diego, sounding very pained, Diego stopped laughing and turned to look at James's sad face.
　　Diego was not in any way sorry for what he did and he will never be because he never considered James his friend and he is too ambitious. He wants to get everything he desires no matter how tough it might be to get it, Diego is ready to take the risk.
　　'No I didn't use you, you did everything willingly. You were just stupid to see signs and ignore them." The words Diego said to him were deep and true, if only he listened to the signs he was seeing he wouldn't have made the mistake he made.
　　He would have stayed away from Diego a long time ago and he would not have killed innocent Robert. He realized Diego had been his family enemy and they kept looking at other people without looking at his side or even suspecting him.
　　'After killing my father my brother was next right, then after my brother it'll be me." James said to Diego angrily. He couldn't believe he trusted Diego so much that the truth he just heard hurt him a lot.
　　'No. You're wrong, after your brother is definitely going to be your child, then the last will be you." James was shocked to hear what Diego said to him, he was wondering how James was going out about his baby and what he just didn't give to the baby and its mum.
　　'How dare you!" What have you done to them?" James asked Diego angrily. Diego started laughing again, and this pissed James off completely. He was wondering why James would usually bring up issues as serious as that of his father and his family.
　　He stared at Diego angrily. Diego didn't stop laughing and this made James almost lose his mind because he didn't find it funny at all and Diego's laughter was very annoying to his hearing.
　　'What's so funny about what I just told you?" James asked Diego angrily. Diego stopped laughing when he heard what James said to him.
　　'What sort of question is that? I am Diego, there is nothing I don't know." Diego replied to James with a smile on her face. The whole story was slowly getting long and complicated. James thought it was just the part of his brother being tailed secretly by Diego's men, unknowing to him that the things Diego has done were too many and can never be forgiven.
　　'I can never forgive you for all these things you have done." James said to Diego. When he said this Diego turned to look at him because it sounded funny to him. He was wondering why James would even think he is interested in his forgiveness.
　　'I don't ever want you to forgive me. He said I didn't offend you, I was just doing what's best for me." Diego said to James. James was shocked to hear what Diego said to him.
　　He was expecting Diego to beg for forgiveness but instead he is behaving like he hasn't done anything wrong.
　　James stretched his gun again. James's eyes opened wider than usual. Diego used his hand to call one of his boys. The moment the boy gave up where he was standing he told the guy to lower his head and immediately the boy did that.
　　'Kill all his escorts." Diego ordered his man heartlessly. The bodyguard nodded his head and she stepped back. He told the person standing beside him, they started passing the message like that till it got to the last person.
　　Diego started laughing, He planned on making James stand without a bodyguard, and then James will beg him to skate his life,
　　'Fire." Diego says to his boys and immediately they shoot all the James men. It was a shock to James when he saw all his men on the floor. He knew that Diego must have planned it so he could be useless. But James was ready to tell Diego that it's not only through his bodyguard that he always gave the liver to do things that he wanted to do.
　　James raised his gun again and was ready to pull the trigger this time.
　　'Man, you're alone on this, just drop your gun and apologize to me." Diego commanded James while James was pointing his gun.
　　When James heard what Diego said he started laughing because it sounded very funny to him. He was wondering what's really going through Diego's head that'll make him speak like that.
　　'You must think I'm very stupid." James said to Diego then he remembered how many times Diego told him today that he behaves stupid. Diego was no longer in for jokes and it looked like James is more serious now.
　　'As you can see your men are down, do the right thing and stop your gun." Diego said to James. His boys wanted to take action but he told them not to because he has everything under control. He wants James alive so that he can do something for him and after that he will kill him.
　　Those words coming out from Diego sounded different in James's ear. It felt like he was gearing up for a really different thing. This time he set the gun very well and pointed it directly at Diego.
　　At this point Diego thought it's better to stop giving thoughts to the hun he is pointing after all he is not going to shoot. Diego feels James's men are all down so how will he even think of shooting. The only way he will shoot is if he is ready to die.
　　'I never told you I need those cowards to carry out my plan, they are just two. I came here for you." James said to Diego trying to tell him that he is not there for anything that has to do with the bodyguards but shooting him is for all of them.
　　'You must be really out of your mind." Diego said to James, he now felt James might actually be saying the truth. He decided to tell his boys to be ready to pull the trigger anytime soon.
　　He was watching James and he can tell James was already too upset and might not calm down. What was hurting him the most is the fact that he doesn't want to kill James now till he gets the secret of Augustine's wealth.
　　'Why are you staring at me like that, are you scared of my gun now? I swear I'll stop your ambitious journey today." James said to Diego and started laughing. Diego did not see what James was saying as a threat at all because he was secured by his bodyguard but James has none because they are all dead.
　　Diego was wondering why James or anyone will think they can stop him When they are not even aware of how far he can go.
　　'James you cannot stop me now. I have done a lot to get this far." Diego said to James, when James heard this he shut his eyes very tight and finally pulled the trigger. He shot Diego on his belly.
　　'It's too late." James said to himself and opened his eyes.
