Chapter 62

　　The doctor walked out of the house immediately, before things got out of control. James turned to look at his girlfriend laying on the bed, he wanted to believe she was carrying his child but the fact that she had a thing with the doctor James couldn't.
　　'When did you find out you were pregnant?" James asked her, even though she was pretending to be sleeping James could tell she was not sleeping.
　　'Why is he asking when I'm sleeping?" His girlfriend asked herself, she knew If she doesn't answer him, he might end up killing her.
　　'I found out the same time you found out." She lied confidently. James turned to look at her when he heard what she said, he was wondering how she is confidently lying to him.
　　It's unknown to her that even while she is carrying the bastard she claims to be his child he can still pull the trigger on her head.
　　He looked at her very well and she still shut her eyes very tight, he shook his head and walked out of the room.
　　'That was close." She said to herself the moment he was out of the room, she became confused because from the way he was acting it's very clear that he is suspecting her and the doctor.
　　'Why does it look like he doesn't want the baby?" James's girlfriend was not feeling comfortable with what's going on, she was wondering why he did not hug her, or even celebrate the news of her pregnancy.
　　'Everything has gone wrong." James's girlfriend said to herself and started rolling on the bed. She started blaming it on the doctor for telling James that she is expecting a child.
　　She remembered she'll not be the only one to go down if James finds out the truth that she is cheating on him. James's girlfriend picked a phone immediately to place a call across to the doctor so he gets prepared for whatever is going to happen.
　　She got off the phone with the doctor when she was done telling him what she wanted to say to him. The moment she was done talking she dropped the phone back on the bed.
　　Diego was in his sitting room when he got a call from one of his friend and partner but is no longer in the country, he had to leave the country because he realized a lot of people were after his life and plan on ruining him because he did a lot of horrible things before he became wealthy and famous.
　　'Hey brother." Diego said to the friend the moment he picked the call. The friend was quiet for a while before he finally decided to speak.
　　'The wolf lord!" His friend hailed excitedly. Both of them were so happy to speak to each other after a long time they lost contact.
　　'How have you been?" Diego asked his friend, he knew the answer would definitely be good because he has heard a lot about what his friend is doing over there.
　　'Man, I'm doing great here." Diego's friend replied to him. Diego smiled and became quiet as he was thinking of what to say. Her s friend suddenly.
　　'I heard you are now a business partner with Augustine's." Diego's friend said to him. Diego was shocked at the fact that his friend is also aware of his friendship with James. It looks like the news is everywhere about two wolf lord's being close friends.
　　'Do you trust him?" Diego's friend asked him. Diego laughed out loud when his friend asked him the question. He was wondering why his friend would ask him such a question when he knows the kind of person he is.
　　'Do you remember what happened thirty years ago?" Diego asked his friend. His friend laughed when Diego asked the question.
　　'You'll never change." Diego's friend said to Diego and both of them laughed out loud.
　　Thirty years ago Diego and this friend of his joined forces to kill their boss and take everything he owned. He trusted both of them but they betrayed him, and the idea was initiated by Diego. He has always been ambitious and desperate to become successful.
　　They took everything and shared it amongst each other, they went their separate ways and built an empire with their boss' wealth. And both of them are very successful.
　　'In this business, one has to make smart moves." Diego said to his friend and both of them laughed out loud.
　　Diego heard the sound of his friend's door through his phone and his friend was suddenly quiet.
　　'Are you okay?" Diego asked him, but he was still not replying to him. Diego became worried.
　　'I have to go now brother." Diego's friend said to him and hung up immediately without waiting to hear what Diego had to say to him.
　　Diego couldn't stop staring at the phone when he hung up because he was wondering why his friend sounded like that and eventually hung up the call.
　　He decided to overlook it because he knows the friend has people around him and his security is going to be very tight over there.
　　This friend is one person Diego cares the most about, because of all they went through together when they were young. He is one person Diego can destroy the world for.
　　'Boss, one of us is missing." One of the bodyguards reported to Diego. When Diego heard he was shocked. He hates it when any of his men are missing because he doesn't know how much that staff of his knows.
　　'How many days now?" Diego asked the boy that reported.
　　'Since last night boss." The bodyguard replied to him almost immediately. Diego was wondering who the person missing would be.
　　'What's his field?" Diego asked the bodyguard, the bodyguard was quiet for a minute like he was thinking of who the missing person is.
　　'The goods dept." Diego opened his eyes wider than usual, but he tried to control himself. He shakes his leg as he was thinking of what to do about the missing person.
　　'Go find out his name and tell me if he is someone that knows too much already." Diego ordered the bodyguard, and immediately the bodyguard walked away to do what he had been ordered to do.
　　'Who is this bastard?" Diego asked himself as he rested his head on his finger trying to think of who the person might be.
　　He did not think it'll be Michael because he felt he had Michael on his palm already and Michael always does what he instructs him to do.
　　Michael is seen in the room he was locked in. He woke up and realized he was still in the same shabby room. He hopes when he wakes up he'll see himself in a very comfortable room living his dream life.
　　He suddenly remembered he might have to spend the rest of his life here if James finds out that what he told him is true.
　　Then he remembered again that he heard right when his cousin told him that Diego planned a secret search, but he regretted not asking further so he'll be sure of what he heard very well.
　　'Why did I talk?" Michael asked himself and put his hand on his forehead tiredly as he thought of everything that has happened in the past seventy-two hours.
　　He raised his face and saw two James men standing in front of him.
　　'Are you here to take me away, I told him I'll never lie to him." Michael said, sounding almost excited. The two men did not smile instead they kept looking at him without attempting to open the door.
　　Michael realized they are not here to release him but they were there for another purpose entirely.
　　'Open this." They said to him stretching his phone to him. Michael opened his eyes wider than usual, he had so much important information in the phone, if James has access to it he'll find out too much and it'll not be good for Diego.
　　As much as he is upset and wants to take revenge on Diego he cannot stoop so low to let out all the importance of Diego.
　　He suddenly has worked for Diego for up to fifteen years and he knows all the strategies of the wolf lord. He remembered Diego had done this same thing to someone before, and he later found out that Diego was not interested in the content of the phone, he was only interested in the look on the boy's face.
　　He felt that may be the same thing James wanted from him, even though James did not come himself he might tell his boys to watch the expression on his face.
　　He immediately comported himself and opened the phone hopefully it'll be what he thought of. The moment he opened the phone both men walked away.
　　'I'm definitely going to go crazy here." Michael said to himself and sat on the floor. He realized he was wrong when he thought coming to James would change his life.
　　He remembered his brother's dying wish as his cousins, he remembered promising them that he will stop working for the wolf lords and he will not put his hand in anything that is not legal.
　　He looked at the life he desperately wanted and it's something his brothers will not be happy with wherever they are. He realized working for a wolf lord for years gave him the mentality that only wolf lords rule the world.
　　It's because of the years he has worked with the wolf lords that's making him Interested in being a wolf lord. If he didn't work with them he would have definitely thought of a better thing to do with his money.
　　He finally decided that he will not use his money to do anything illegal. He stood up from where he was sitting and looked around. He even regretted coming to James for help; he now realized that he was making the biggest mistake by coming to James's. They are business partners.
　　Michael wondered what made him even come to visit James in the first place to report Diego. Now he is in a mess and his money has been taken away by James.
　　'I just hope I get my money back." Michael said to himself then he walked back to where he was sitting, he started calculating in his head the type of business he needs to start.
　　'Boss, his name is Michael." Diego stood up from where he was sitting the moment he heard the name of the kissing worker. He walked closer to the bodyguard.
　　The bodyguard raised his head so he'll not make eye contact with his boss.
　　'What did you call his name again?" Diego asked the bodyguard. The bodyguard with his head up replied Diego.
　　Diego turned and started walking like he was about to leave the sitting room.
　　'Michael has been away for how many hours?" Diego asked the bodyguard.
　　'Seventy-two hours boss." Diego laughed out when the bodyguard replied to him, he realized Michael had been with him for more than fifteen years, he started working for him when he was eight years old. He knows quite a lot to be left alone.
　　He has been trying not to kill Michael all these years because he found very useful and stupidly loyal, but now that he is no longer with them, it looks like he will have no other choice than to take that step he has always avoided.
　　'Send your boys to search for him and bring him to me." Diego ordered the bodyguard.
　　'Wait…kill him when you find him, I don't want to see his face." Diego changed his mind after thinking about it, upon how heartless he is. He cannot seem to kill Michael because he knows he owes the young man a lot.
　　He used the one that wiped his whole family away, he would have left him but he is not sure What will keep his mouth shut.
　　'I wish I had a choice." Diego said to himself and sat on the couch.
