Chapter 57

　　'I'm sorry Richard." The team head apologized when he realized Richard was telling the truth before he died. He regrets not listening to Richard because if he had listened to him he would not have died.
　　He would have taken Richard to a place where Diego will never find him, but because he didn't believe him, Diego was able to do whatever he did to him.
　　'He killed my brother and my cousin." The team head (Michael) said to himself. He was fuming in anger as everything that was coming to his mind was how he would ruin Diego and make him pay for everything that he made him go through.
　　He lost two family members in the hands of the same person.
　　'I'll ruin you Diego." Michael said to himself angrily, he felt like a fool for ever trusting Diego and working for him.
　　James was slowly beginning to suspect Diego, he got an information that Diego had some goods delivered to his house today, meanwhile Diego told him he is facing some challenges at the moment and will not be able to receive any goods so how did he get the goods that were supplied to him today.
　　'Diego is playing games." James said to himself and started thinking of the reason why Diego didn't tell him about the goods he received when he considered them to be friends.
　　'Maybe he forgot to tell me about it." James said to himself and picked up his phone. He decided to place a call across to Diego but he planned not to bring up the topic just maybe Diego will tell him the truth.
　　'Hello brother." James said the moment Diego picked the call, Diego was irritated at the fact that James always refers to him as his brother.
　　'I hate it when he calls me that." Diego said to himself while on the phone with James.
　　'How are you doing?" Diego asked James even though he didn't care about the answer.
　　'I'm great." James replied Diego. Diego was quiet and at some point he started wondering why James would call him all of a sudden.
　　'I called to ask how business has been at your side." James said to Diego hoping to hear the truth from Diego. Diego was quiet for a moment, he was sure he did not let anyone disclose the news about the goods that arrived yesterday so he decided to lie to James.
　　'Really slow. I can't even get goods now." James was shocked to hear the reply from Diego, Diego was lying to him when he already knew the truth.
　　James remembered clearly that one of his guys that's a spy in Diego's house told him that Diego got some goods yesterday.
　　'So you have not gotten goods this week?" James asked Diego to be sure he is not hearing double.
　　'Yes." Diego replied to James confidently. James was disappointed that Diego is lying to him when he knows the truth, he realized Diego is not as genuine as he thought.
　　'Hello, are you there?" Diego asked James when he noticed James was not saying anything to him. Diego's voice brought James back to reality.
　　'Yes I am." James replied Diego after thinking for a while.
　　'I'm very busy, so I have to go now." James said to Diego and hung up the call. The moment he hung up he dropped the phone on the couch and started remembering his conversation with Diego.
　　'Why is he lying to me?" James asked himself as he was trying to figure out why Diego is suddenly keeping things from him when they are supposed to be partners and are not allowed to keep things from each other.
　　James decided to overlook it with the mentality that just maybe Diego wants to be personal about that particular goods.
　　'Boss, you have a visitor." James turned to see who the bodyguard that came to tell him about the visitor is.
　　He told the bodyguard to go back to his duty post as he will be with the person in a minute.
　　The bodyguard walked away the moment James told him to leave.
　　James stood up from the couch he was sitting on and headed to his room. When he got to his room, he met his girlfriend on the bed.
　　'Are you not going anywhere today?" James asked her, she rolled on the bed tiredly like she had been busy all day.
　　'I'm not." Sue said, still sounding sleepy. She placed the pillow under her head and rested her head on it like a baby.
　　'Lazy girl." James said and hit her ass.
　　'Stop it." She said to him still sounding sleepy, James laughed and walked into the toilet, while he was in the toilet he suddenly remembered he was told he has visitors, he started wondering who the visitor is.
　　If it's Diego there will be no need for the courtesy Diego would have walked straight to him.
　　'Who is the visitor?" James asked himself while he was in the toilet.
　　Michael was still in shock at the fact that his boss is actually more evil than what he imagined. It's now clear to him that Diego will be the one that killed his father.
　　He remembered that the day his father was killed is the day that he met Diego and he later found out that Diego worked for his father.
　　Michael was still finding it hard to believe so he decided to take the risk of going to ask his boss even though it takes his life.
　　'I hope you did the job neatly?" Diego asked the strange guy he sent to Richard' room to kill him. The man had a bald head. He looked very big and scary.
　　'Yes I did, he was not in the room when I killed his cousin." The big man said, referring to Michael.
　　'I trust you." Diego said to the big man with a smile on his face.
　　'You know that guy has lost all his family members in my hands. Their blood is on this palm. I would have killed him too but he is very important to me." Diego explained to the strange man. The man smiled when he heard what Diego said to him.
　　Diego killed Michael's mom and dad because his dad sold his stuff without telling him because he needed money for the treatment of Michael's brother.
　　What Manuel said before he died was now getting clear to Michael. The same thing Manuel said when he was dying is the same thing Richard said.
　　He thought they were just having issues with the boss, unknowing to him that they saw things he didn't see.
　　Michael heard what Diego was saying to the man he saw in Richard' room and he was completely sure that Diego killed his family and did not kill him because he was useful to him.
　　'No wonder he never killed them the right way, it's because he wanted me." Michael was completely disappointed in himself and he felt he needed to apologize to the people that died in the process of working for Diego, through his invitation.
　　Michael suddenly remembered his cousin told him about the money in the store room. And how he promised his cousin not to work for Diego again.
　　Michael stood up and looked around before he sneaked out of Diego's house. He took a cab to the house he shared with Richard. When he got to the house it became clearer to him that he is the only one from their bloodline left.
　　He looked around the house and walked to the store room. When he got to the store he opened the door.
　　'What is this?" Michael asked himself When he didn't see anything in the store room. He looked very well and there was actually nothing inside. When he was about to close the door, he noticed there was a difference in the paint.
　　He walked inside and touched the wall that the paint looked different.
　　When he touched it he was shocked to see that there was another room inside the storeroom.
　　'What the fuck!" He said as he was wowed, seeing the door open gently.
　　Michael closed his mouth with his hand when he saw the amount of money that was inside the secret room. He picked a bunch of the money to take a good look at it and make sure the money is real.
　　He smelled it and touched it well.
　　'It's fucking real." Michael said excitedly as he realized the money is truly real. He suddenly became sad because it was money he was supposed to spend with his cousin.
　　'Michael packed the money out of the secret room inside a bag and walked to the sitting room.
　　He sat down on the couch and started thinking of the next step to take and the best thing to do with his money.
　　He has always wished to be a wolf lord too, so it's only right for him to take a step in fulfilling his childhood desire.
　　Then he suddenly thought it'd be better if he ruined Diego first because Diego made him like this without a family.
　　He started thinking of what's the best way to ruin Diego's life. He flashed back to when he was in the hospital Richard said something like Diego is secretly searching for his business partner brother and he ordered that they kill him the moment he is found.
　　'I know what to do now." Michael said to himself excitedly, he looked at the bags of cash infront of him and started thinking of how to start his own business and become the most successful wolf lord in the country just like the Augustine's.
　　'I can't go back there." Michael said to himself, referring to Diego's house.
　　James was done using the toilet. He got out of the toilet and met his girlfriend still on the bed. He placed his hand on his waist, he was wondering if she was really okay because she had been sleeping all day.
　　'Are you really going to sleep all day?" James asked her while she was still sleeping on the bed. She raised her head to look at him. She knew she was being lazy and it's really unlike her but she doesn't know why she is acting like that all of a sudden.
　　'I don't know babe, I feel tired, I don't know what's wrong with me." She replied to James sounding tired. James walked closer to her to check her temperature and he noticed he was burning up.
　　'Your temperature is high, I think you need to visit the doctor, or should I call him over?" James asked her, instead of talking she nodded her head leaving James more confused.
　　'The nod is for…? James asked, trying to ask why she nodded her head.
　　'Let him come over." James's girlfriend said to James still laying on the bed.
　　James immediately picked his phone and placed a call across to his doctor to come over and take a look at his girlfriend so he can
　　When he was done with the call, he dropped the phone and turned to look at his girlfriend again.
　　'Don't worry you'll be fine." James said to her, he picked the phone and put it in his pocket, when he was about to leave the room she jumped up and ran to the toilet.
　　'Are you okay?" James asked her lovingly as she ran to the toilet. She couldn't reply because her mouth was full.
　　After vomiting she was in her mouth and her face and walked out of the toilet.
　　'I don't know what's wrong with me, I think it's a fever." She said to him and sat on the bed. James wanted to leave her but he thought it'll be heartless of him to leave her in the room alone when she is in such a condition.
　　He sat down on the couch so he can wait for the doctor to come because he now feels the sickness is more than he thought earlier.
　　'Why is the doctor taking forever?" James asked himself and checked the time.
