The next day Alpha Andrew and Selena were set to go to work when Alpha Andrew called Selena to tell her how much he loves her and that nothing was going to separate them, not even Leonard.
'We've come a long way to get separated from him (Leonard)" Selena rolled her eyes when she heard what Alpha Andrew said, because she knew it's impossible for Leonard to separate her from him.
'I know, so don't worry I will never do anything to hurt you and you know that, so don't worry" Selena said to Alpha Andrew. Alpha Andrew became calm when he heard what Selena said to him.
'I will also be at lunch with Maria so that I can keep an eye on Leonard," Alpha Andrew said to Selena.
'I know you don't have to stress yourself, I know what is best for me and it's definitely not Leonard" Selena said to Alpha Andrew in an assurance that nothing can ever make her go for Leonard.
'This dress looks so good on you" Alpha Andrew said to Selena as he stared at her in an adorable way.
'Thank you" Selena said to Alpha Andrew blushing.
They both looked at themselves and smiled at each other.
Then Selena heard her phone ring and reached for it, it was Leonard, she immediately picked the call.
'Hello sir" she said to Leonard who was on the phone call with her, wondering why he was calling.
'How are you Selena, hope you slept well" Leonard said to Selena in a caring tone.
'Yes I did," Selena replied to Leonard , who was still on the phone with her, still wondering why Leonard was calling.
'I called to check up on you and to remind you to dress pretty for lunch later today, I could still order a nice dress for you now if you don't mind," Leonard said to Selena in a soft tone.
'Thank you for checking up on me, I already told you that I have what to wear, Alpha Andrew bought me nice dresses so I can easily pick one to wear for lunch so you don't have to worry, I will be fine," Selena replied to Leonard in a sarcastic tone.
'Okay if you say so, you sound angry, hope you are not? Because I was trying to be nice I mean no bad" Leonard said to Selena wondering why she replied to him in such a sarcastic tone.
'I am not angry sir, thanks for your concern, am almost ready so I hope you should be ready as well" Selena said to Leonard in a calm way considering the fact that she replied him in a sarcastic tone the earlier and didn't want it to seem as though she was angry with him.
'Yes I am almost ready. I will soon be heading to the venue, so I hope to see you soon, and please don't be late," Leonard said to Selena, still in a caring tone.
'Okay I won't be late, see you later" Selena said to Leonard who was still on the phone call with her and she was feeling uncomfortable with the tone at which he was using to talk to her considering the fact she sounded sarcastic earlier.
'Okay see u later bye" Leonard said to Selena as he ended the call.
Selena looked at Alpha Andrew who was still at home in a confused way.
'What does he (Leonard) think of me? Does he think I will fall for him because of all the unnecessary phone calls and caring questions? He should just stop disturbing because I can't even tolerate this his character, he is just my boss so he will remain he can never be more, he is not my type, I don't even know why I took the job in the first place" Selena said confused as she was wondering why Leonard will call her for a reason not relating to their job.
'Selena, calm down, this will just last for a while. I will try and get another job for you. We can still search for a job elsewhere, you will be fine, don't worry, it's just for a while, so you don't need to worry. Alpha Andrew said to Selena to ease her a bit.
'But you know how hard it was for me to get this job, so getting another job won't be easy," Selena replied to Alpha Andrew.
'I know but the same way you got this you will get another job so don't worry" Alpha Andrew said, still trying to calm Selena.
'Thank you Alpha Andrew for all you do for me, I can't trade you for anything in this world ' Selena said to Alpha Andrew.
Alpha Andrew and Selena look at each other and smile.
Alpha Andrew and Selena got to the venue quite early and had to wait for Leonard, they decided to hang around while they waited for Leonard.
Few minutes later Alpha Andrew and Selena were sitting quietly when a pretty young lady who was a lady in the restaurant approached Selena and told him a young man said she should move to the VIP table.
'Me? Are you sure it's me you were asked to call? Or are you mistaking me for someone else?" Selena replied surprised, because she felt Leonard would inform them when he got to the venue.
Alpha Andrew looks around and sees Leonard standing at the entrance waiting for Selena to join him and move to the VIP table.
'It's Leonard," Alpha Andrew whispered to Selena's ear.
'How did you know?" Selena replied as she was wondering how Alpha Andrew knew it was Leonard.
'He's at the entrance staring at you" Alpha Andrew replied Selena pointing at the direction Leonard was standing.
'Okay" Selena said as she turned and saw Leonard standing at the entrance staring at her and smiling.
She placed her hand on her head in depression.
'Why is he staring at me like that?" Selena asked Alpha Andrew.
'Just join him and be good, it's just lunch and nothing more so be calm" Alpha Andrew said, trying to cover up the questions Selena asked him considering the fact that he doesn't have a good answer to the questions Selena asked.
'Okay see you later Alpha Andrew" Selena said as she stood up and joined Leonard.
Selena and Leonard move to the VIP tables and make themselves comfortable.
'Selena make your order" Leonard said to Selena as he tried to make her feel relaxed.
'I will just have fruit juice," Selena replied to Leonard.
'Okay, but why don't you order something else like; rice and turkey and something else, you can check the menu. They have nice dishes here, so feel free to make your order" Leonard said as he still tries to make Selena feel comfortable.
'I'm fine with fruit juice, I'm not hungry, so you just make your order," Selena replied to Leonard.
'Am going to order anything you order as well" Leonard said to Selena smiling.
'Then you are going to take fruit juice," Selena said to Leonard.
'Yes if that is your order then it's fine for me" Leonard said to Selena staring into her eyes.
'Stop staring at me like that you flirt" Selena said to Leonard considering the fact that she was uncomfortable with the way Leonard was looking at her.
'What's wrong with me staring at you? You are a pretty girl so you don't expect me to look away from you" Leonard said to Selena, trying to get closer to her.
'Stop flirting with me" Selena yelled at Leonard.
Leonard immediately moves aside when he notices Selena was already yelling and could say something that would land him in trouble.
'Why are you shouting? I was just kidding around with and you are yelling" Leonard said to Selena
'Don't try to act smart with me cause I won't take any nonsense from you, I have said this before and I will say it again you are my boss and you will remain my boss nothing more nothing less" Selena said to Leonard in an angry tone.
'You are my secretary, my personal secretary at that so you have no right to yell at me, I invited you over for lunch and you should be grateful for that, I am the boss here so I talk and you listen. As far as I am concerned I will be the one to pay your salary so you have no right to talk to me in a rude way like you are doing" Leonard replied Selena in an angry way.
'I know you are my boss that is why I agreed to go on this lunch since it was your instruction, I listen your instructions as my boss but when it's comes to you flirting with me I can't take it, I can't mix business with pleasure" Selena replied Leonard
'I am your boss so if I want to flirt with you I can, so you better do as I say and don't get me pursued off" Leonard said to Selena staring into her eyes.
'You know what I can't do this anymore I quit, I don't want to work for you anymore, I would rather be jobless than have a boss like you, I will drop my resignation letter tomorrow" Selena said to Leonard as she attempted to stand up to leave.
'You want to resign? Where would you get a job like this with a good salary? Or do you want to go back to being jobless?" Leonard asked Selena
'I would rather be jobless than to have anything to do with you, you are just a spoiled brat" Selena said to Leonard in anger as she left the VIP table.
She headed to Alpha Andrew who was waiting for her (Selena) since Maria didn't show up because she had something else to do and couldn't make it to lunch with them.
Alpha Andrew was so surprised to see Selena come out of the VIP with a very angry look and he immediately stood up from his chair and went to meet her.
'Selena what happened? Are you okay? You look angry? Why are you crying? Where is Radford? Did Leonard do anything to you?" Alpha Andrew asked Selena as he was curious to know what happened that made her look so angry.
'Alpha Andrew let's go home please, we will talk when we get home because I don't want to wait one more second here" Selena replied to Alpha Andrew not answering his questions.
'Okay let's go, but are you okay, because you don't look okay, did Leonard try to do anything funny with you? Can you at least talk to me before we leave, so that I can know when f all is well" Alpha Andrew asked Selena, still confused at what might have happened during the lunch.
'I resign because I can't do this anymore, Leonard was flirting with me" Selena replied to Alpha Andrew 's questions.
