"Please give me this one last chance and call your brother, ask him of his whereabouts." Diego pleaded.
James agreed and placed a call on Alpha Andrew.
"Hey brother, where are you?" James asked.
"London brother, the company I'm working told me to return urgently, so I had to leave while you were away on your business trip." Alpha Andrew replied.
"I knew you are still doubting me brother, but trust me, I will never do something wrong." Alpha Andrew added.
"I trust you brother, take good care of yourself and I will miss you." James said.
"Thanks bro." Alpha Andrew replied.
"I will send more money to your account later." James said before hanging up.
He looked at Diego.
"I hope you are smart enough to know that if Alpha Andrew was really hiding that girl, then he will lie about his location since we can track him, but he didn't, I don't want our friendship to be ruined because of this, but this should be the last time you will say anything bad about my brother or him hiding the witness, I told you to stop searching for her, but if you still want to continue, then let my brother's name out of it, else I will forget about everything and...You know what I can do." James warned and left angrily.
"James is right, Alpha Andrew will have lied about his location if he is with that girl, but I can't still trust him, he most have something to do with this, and I won't stop searching for her." Diego soliloquies.
**Anthony's house**
"Any improvement on tracking the witness?" Anthony asked.
"Yes but not anymore." The professor replied.
"I don't understand." Anthony said.
"At first, her location was based within South Africa, but then everything disappeared from our track, which means that she is no more within Africa." The professor explained.
Anthony held his head frustrated.
"Keep on tracking her even if it will take years." Anthony said and walked out of the room to meet Nathaniel at the seating room, and he was there with a cup of wine on his left hand.
"The professor was able to track her location, but she suddenly moved and he lost all tracks of her." Anthony said.
"I think someone is helping her escape from all places, and that person is keeping her safe from you and your father's killers." Nathaniel replied.
"I also thought of that too, but I'm not planning on killing the witness, she is innocent so I won't kill her for any reason, I only need her help in finding my father's murderers and that's all, but who is keeping her safe?" Anthony asked.
"I don't know, but that person must be so kind hearted to take this risk, he is dealing with two most dangerous wolf lord on whom we have no evidence about, I heard that they have attacked her three times just to kill her, then bomb the market so she could suffocate and die, so the person keeping her safe is kind and has a courageous heart, I can't imagine myself taking that kind of risk for someone I barely know." Nathaniel exclaimed.
"I think so too, but I don't the internet professor to keep searching for her, all I need from her is for her to show me their faces so it can be easier for me, this revenge is more important to me than anything, I can't bare my father in the grave while them enjoying the world fresh air everyday alive, it's hurting me more that I still haven't done anything about it." Diego said.
"Let's just hope for a better improvement." Nathaniel said.
"I'm sure they can't hide forever." He added.
**London**
The next day.
The yummy scent of fresh baked pancakes woke Selena from sleep.
She stretched her body and opened her eyes to see Alpha Andrew holding a tray of plate and a cup of coffee.
"Good morning, pancakes specially made for you." Alpha Andrew said.
"Aww, thanks Ric, I thought I was dreaming, the aroma is mind blowing."
Selena replied.
"Get up, go wash your teeth then you can eat, I want to take you somewhere." Alpha Andrew said.
"Where?" Selena asked.
"It's supposed to be a surprise but I know you won't let it be, you will be curious to know." Alpha Andrew answered.
"Guess you already know, now I can't wait, where are we going?" Selena asked.
"To the company I'm working, I'm the manager there." Alpha Andrew answered.
"But why? I mean for what?" Selena asked.
"You will be working there with me don't worry, you don't need to worry about interviews or anything, I knew you are intelligent and I'm the manager, so consider yourself as one of my staffs."
Alpha Andrew said, she was quiet.
"I'm sorry if you think I'm making decisions for you, I just thought you will be happy about it, you can say no, it's fine by me." Alpha Andrew said quickly.
"No, is not what you are thinking, I'm just surprised and not able to believe the kind of person you are, why you are doing all this for me?" Selena asked.
"Because you are special, and I used to stay long at work, I don't want you bored and lonely all day at home, plus working will make you associate with a lot of workers there and you won't be scared of getting fit in London." Alpha Andrew replied.
"But what if...."
"Nothing will happen, I'm there to protect you from anyone that wants to look down on you, makes sure to dress well ma lady." Alpha Andrew said and she blushed.
"You are so kind, thank you so much and I won't let you down, I promise." Selena said.
"Stop thanking me already, I already told you times without numbers that you are very special to Alpha Andrew, and he will do anything for you." Alpha Andrew said and she smiled, her eyes getting wet.
"Okay, I forget to tell you that we don't have enough time for you to cry." He teased.
She rolled he eyes.
"That's even cuter." He said and she pushed him out of the room.
"I will go get ready, be a good boy and wait here." Selena said patting his hair.
"For real, I'm a boy?" He frowned.
She laughed and closed the door.
Smiling at herself, she dashed into the bathroom and had a very quick bath.
She returned to the room, applied some lotion and brought out the cute red shirt and white pants then red sneakers that Alpha Andrew bought for her at South Africa.
She dressed up quickly and applied less make-up; she wore a head tie then scanned herself from head to toe.
"I guess I'm not looking bad, I will have to ask Ric, I don't want them laughing at me." She thought.
He walked downstairs and when Alpha Andrew saw her, he opened his mouth wide, staring at her.
"Heyyyy." Selena said waving at him and he looked away shyly.
She looks so beautiful more than any day.
"So, how do I look? Beautiful?" She asked.
"Yeah, not bad." He replied, she frowned.
"No, just say I'm beautiful." Selena pouted.
"Yes, you are, beautiful." He said separating each word scratching his non itchy hair.
"Cool then, your pancakes are the best, thanks for everything." Selena said.
"You welcome girl." Alpha Andrew replied.
"I'm not a girl dude, I'm a young lady." Selena protests.
"Oh, young lady, shall we?" He asked and she placed her hands on hips and they walked out of the house to his car.
She sat at the front seat with him and they zoom off.
**Brad fort enterprise**
Alpha Andrew and Selena arrived at the company, and Selena was surprised how magnificent it is.
"You said you managed this place?" Selena asked.
"Yes." Alpha Andrew replied.
"Man, you are a role model I swear." Selena replied.
He smiled at her silliness.
His co-workers sighted him and they all rushed to him.
"Welcome back sir, we have missed you so much." They chorused.
"I missed you too, I'm back now." Alpha Andrew said.
They all noticed Selena hand in hand with Alpha Andrew, they started murmuring things.
"I thought you guys have change your murmuring things, anyways, meet Selena, she is my best friend and she will be working with us from now on." Alpha Andrew announced.
Selena bow her head down waiting for them to insult her but suprisely they didn't.
"Wow, she is dark and so pretty, prettier than Maria." One of them said and they all agreed.
"Who is Maria?" She asked herself.
They started introducing their selves to each other and Alpha Andrew winked at her.
"I told you not all whites are racist." Alpha Andrew said, she agreed.
"Okay guys, you all have all the time in the world to know her, but I need to show her, her new office." Alpha Andrew said.
"Okay sir." They replied.
He holds Selena's hand and they walked together.
"So this is your office, you will be working on the financial activities of the company and you will be giving us statically reports okay, hope it's not too difficult?" He asked.
"Of course not, I will make you proud, thanks allot." Selena said.
"You welcome young lady, I have to leave now, and I will meet you at lunch okay." Alpha Andrew said.
"Okay." She smiled.
He left to his office.
**Maria's office**
Maria Williams is Alpha Andrew's secretary, very proud, rude and a bully, and a big secret, she likes Alpha Andrew a lot and she claimed to be the prettiest girl in the whole company, she has a snow white skin, and a blonde hair, slim, well fitted and an average height, she is beautiful.
She noticed her co workers murmuring things among themselves.
"Hey, what are they discussing?" Maria asked.
"Mr Alpha Andrew returned to the company." She replied.
Maria was excited.
"Oh finally, I have missed him." Maria said.
"But he came with a dark lady, he introduced her as his best friend and she will be working with us under the field of financial activities." The co worker said.
Maria boiled in anger.
She barged out of her office.
"Will you guys shut up your freaking mouths, what so special about that black girl?" Maria asked.
"She is special to me Alpha Andrew, which is why she is special to us, and yes she is black, but she is a black beauty queen, I'm sure she is more prettier than you, and she has a slender shape." One of them said.
"How dare you talk to me like this?" She yelled.
"Now that Mr Alpha Andrew is back, you are no more the boss, so please spare us and excuse us." Another one said.
She angrily stormed to Alpha Andrew's office.
"So you are back Mr Alpha Andrew." She asked.
"Yeah, just yesterday." Alpha Andrew replied typing on his laptop.
"And you came along with a black girl." She added.
"She is Selena, my special friend and you know the rule of this company, no racisms, so don't call her black again Maria." Alpha Andrew warned.
"But Alpha Andrew, she can't work here with us, I can't trust that Selena girl or whatever is her name, she can exploit our money and put you in troubles, and I just don't think it's a good idea." Maria yelled.
"Maria, I know Selena Better than you, and she is not that kind of people, if you get to know her, you will understand how kind she is, and don't judge people with their skin color, what matters is what is in the inside, not what is in the outside." Alpha Andrew said calmly.
"But Alpha Andrew, you have to listen to me...."
"End of discussion, you can go bring out all the reports of goods delivered and new products made when I was away to my father's funeral." Alpha Andrew cut her off.
"But...."
"You can shut the door after leaving." He paused her again.
She left the office angrily.
"I can't let that girl ruin everything for me; she will go back to her country just the way she came." Maria soliloquize
