While still preparing dinner, someone knocked our door. I thought it was Frank even though I didn't hear the sound of his vehicle, however when I checked the door I found out it was someone, obviously from the hospital as he was wearing a medical clothing with the logo of the hospital on it. I had seen male nurses in such outfits in the hospital too, and by the way he was holding a... wow, two walking staves. I didn't really know Aunt Vicky ordered for it already, I thought she wasn't going to do it this soon. Anyways, I welcomed the male nurse in and walked him to where Aunty Vicky was, which was in the dining room. The two then greeted, thus he told her he was sent from the hospital to deliver the staves to her.
"Thank you" she said and grabbed them gently from. Even though she thanked him, she didn't really look happy seeing the staves. Then he told her he was assigned to teach her how to use it, however she told him she wasn't interested and that whatever the case maybe, she will find out how to handle it by herself. Hearing, he asked if he could go and she told him to go in and impolite manner. I wasn't really happy about how she reacted, but somehow the nurse seemed to have understood everything. He only smiled and turned, heading towards the door. Well, he was a nurse and must have probably seen a lot to know exactly why she was acting that way.
As he began walking away, I decided to escort him to the door. And just as he reached the sitting room, he stopped and glanced at Patrick and Paul as they busied themselves sketching and playing games respectively. The nurse smile, probably thinking they were our kids. Verily, he didn't really look like somehow that lived around us, and that means he didn't know much about the two kids. "Cute kids!" he commented, and the two smiled at. "How are you guys?" he asked and they both replied that they were fine. Thus, he waved them goodbye and they waved back at him.
The moment he was out of the house, he turned and waved at me too before going. Then I went back to the kitchen. Aunt Vicky was still eyeing the staves, she apparently didn't like them. Hence I decided to encourage her. I told her they were only temporary, and as long as she make use of them properly she would be able to return back to her balance soon. At first she didn't say anything, but then later she heaved a sigh and told me the reason why she didn't like walking with it is because she didn't like the idea of using it at all. However, since she had no other choice then she would have to use it. After all, it's for a mean time. As soon as she heal, she would stop using it for good.
When dinner was reader, I served her and told her there was no need to serve the kids since they had eaten already. However, she didn't buy the idea. She told me they could be hungry already and that we should just serve. But when I told if they didn't eat it; it would end up being a waste, she called and asked them if they were hungry. To my utmost surprise, the two nodded their heads in acknowledgement that they were hungry. I didn't even know when my brows wrinkled and my jaw dropped, probably because I too surprised to comprehend. "For real?" I blurted out, and the kids nodded their heads in affirmative.
That was really strange, where were they even storing the foods, in their big heads? I wondered. It was really odd, and they both didn't look like gluttons. Or were they just shy to say they weren't hungry? Well, if that was th case then serving them would be a big mistake. However, we would really know that until they are served, and by the looks of it that was exactly what was going to happen. I had no choice I would have served them, I did as told by Aunt Vicky and the child went to sitting room to eat with their food.
"You still don't believe they are hungry, right?" Aunt Vicky the moment she found out I couldn't take my eyes off their direction even though they had both headed to the sitting room and were already eating their dinner. Instead of replying her back, I quickly turned my face away... now facing my meal and began smiling. "We all have different stomach, and the fact that we don't know exactly how they used to eat in their own house we can't really tell about their food consumption or their stomach capacity" she added, making me to chuckle. "Yes," she continued, "by the way, did Mam Camila told you when she was coming back? I was thinking about reaching out to her earlier but I didn't know how busy she might be during the day, so I decided to leave perhaps later in the evening before going to bed. Or do you think it would be a good idea for you to call her again? I would also be okay if we go there together, I just hope your Framk doesn't get upset"
By the mentioning of Frank, I didn't even know when my heart began beating fast. And the reason was actually due to the dream I had about him. In the dream, I caught him making love with Jessica. Although she was the one on top and he didn't seem to be enjoying it. I didn't really know what the dream meant but my mind was restless about it the moment I remembered every bit about the dream. First it was a kid trying to scare me away by sending spiders to chase and eat me, but then that terrible sight of Jessica riding on my Frank's ma.nhood. That was really scary. One of the worst nightmares I had ever had. Hopefully though, it stays as it was. Just a dream, and nothing more but the dream it was.
Because, some times, on different occasions I used to have dreams that used to end up being true. Not exactly as it appears on dream though, but would some how be understandable and related. And sometimes, it would be totally something else. Like a whole different thing, practically unrelated to the dream itself. One of the dreams I had that came true was that of my parents dying. Before they died, I had had series of dreams relating to their death.
The first one was about fire gutting our house. As the fire continue to grow, my parents decided the only way to survive was by going out through the window which had a small edge that people could manage to stand outside and wait for help. Sadly, after forcing me out through the window, none of them was able to force themselves out as the window was so narrow and only I could pass through it. They tried several times to fit in until they kater decided to give up. I was then saved by the firefighters who stretched their ladder to get me from where I was, while I parents kept screaming inside. When I woke up after the dream, I was sweating like someone that did hard labour for several hours nonstop or someone that did community service.
I told my parents but none of them took it seriously, they told me it was only a dream and that dreams are natural and are connected to one's mind. More like a psychological thing. If I was obsessed or thinking too much about losing someone, I would surely have a dream about it. And if I was always thinking about helping someone, I would one day find myself dreaming about helping that person, or someone else. It could also be someone related to that person. They tried to calm me down and to make me understand that dreams aren't really straightforward, and that whatever happens they would be fine. Hence I shouldn't worry about anything, but why wouldn't I be worry? Of course I ought to be worry, it was a nightmare after and I was so scared about it.
In order to assure me that there wouldn't be any fire, they installed smoke detectors in almost every room, and fire extinguisher in almost every corner. After that, they installed a fire alarm device that when set off manually with hands or automatically through smoke detectors the firefighters a mile away from call to confirm the situation before storming into action if it turned out that something wasn't right, or something was off. And that was it, I was so happy at least I would be safe.
But then I had a second dream, this time around it was fire or inferno, but something completely different. It was a road accident which somehow gave a clue that it would certainly be a road accident. In the dream, we were in the car which was parked on one side of the road pribaby waiting for someone or something. But my parents didn't really care about the time we were wasting and how bored the waiting was becoming. Suddenly, I decided to go outside and play with birds I saw flying around, I had some candies to which I intended to give them.
However, the moment I stepped out my dad called out on me and asked what exactly I was doing. Hence I responded that I wanted to feed the birds. He chuckled and then gave me a thumbs up. Just then I began throwing candies at the birds while gently moving closer to them... away from the car. I didn't realize I was far from the car until after I heard a loud sound and decided to turn and check what exactly was going on. Surprisingly, it was my dad's car. It had been hit by a truck that seemed to have lost its control.
With him and mom inside, both his car and that of the rolled and flipped into the woods. The only thing that could be seen was wrecked vehicles, no sign of survivors as far as I could tell at that moment. That was the second dream, and like the first one after narrating everything to them they told me not to worry, that nothing like that would ever happen. They told me they would never travel into the forest or any remote area for whatsoever reasons, and they would never park by the roadside for unknown reasons. They did a pretty good job convincing and calming me down.
However, after having the last dream which I found myself in an empty house with nobody ti take care of me, the two decided it was enough and warned me to stop scaring myself and to also stop narrating my dreams to them. Sadly though, that was less than a week to the accident that claimed their lives. It was so unfortunate, it might not have been so clear but it later happened. And my fear now was how Jessica and Frank were becoming close, but perhaps I shouldn't worry much about it for now. If the dream would come true, I may have it again or something similar to it.
However, what I didn't still under was the dream that a kid cum young woman sent some spiders to me and instructing them to eat me, I didn't just understand what it meant. Or perhaps it was just... you know, unnecessary scene that somehow got in the way to push me to where I could find the main content of the dream, a house like Aunt Vicky's with Frank and Jessica cheating on me. Well, whatever the case may be I should just be calm for now and wait until I have another dream about it.
