Chapter 33

　　Maira wasn't happy about it, she had no choice than to help her friend. She arrived at the pat shop and saw Alicia at one side of the shop, Alicia was holding a red with royal blue coloured parrot.
　　"Is this the parrot you're so desperate to buy?"
　　"Maira take a look at this one is it beautiful or should I choose the white one"
　　"I guess the red with blue coloured is better"
　　"Hope you don't think am lazy for not choosing white"
　　"Why would I think of that, this one is more better. But is it male or female"
　　"It a male parrot"
　　After some couple of days Alicia came to maira's house with the parrot begging her to keep it for her that she's going for an escortion from her work place at the museum.
　　Maira was so pissed up that she didn't know when she shouted at Alicia...."Alicia I you in your right sense. I told you in the first place that you should not but the parrot it even talkative but you refuse to listen. Now you want me to keep it, am sorry to say I can't keep it. Why can't you stay in one job, why do you apply for different kind of jobs. You work in a boutique, fashion company, restaurant and now museum. I know it had for us but we should take it slowly not to hurt our health"
　　"Am sorry maira please just for today, tomorrow, I will come pick it up"
　　"Don't dare play tricks with me Alicia"
　　"Am serious I will come pick it up tomorrow"

　　It was exactly 8:pm and the parrot won't allow maira to concentrate with her work, she's working on some document in her laptop, she decide to plead with Johan if he can help her keep the parrot till tomorrow but he didn't accept it. He told her he hates parrot because they're too talkative, she return to her room.
　　She couldn't concentrate on her work so she went out to have some fresh air with the parrot. She saw Johan speaking on the phone telling someone that he's coming right away, she got the opportunity to keep the parrot in his room when he went out but she don't know the door passwords. She try inputting some numbers but it didn't work. She try his date of birth but it still doesn't open. She was exhausted and decide to try for the last time, inputting her own date of birth, and it opened.
　　Maira was far more surprised. Why did he use her date of birth instead of his own?
　　She brought the parrot cabin and put it inside spreading some food for the parrot, and she left.
　　When she came back to her room she closed praying that Johan won'the able to know her door password. Because she don't want him to bring the parrot back.
　　When johan came back he Saw the parrot, he immediately sent the pet
　　back. When she heard him knocking the door she lay on the sofa pretending to be I'll.
　　Surprisingly, Johan open the door when he came in she was startle. She hold her stomach saying that she had a stomach ache.
　　"Oh you think you're smart. Why did you kept the pet in my room why I already told you that I hate parrot"
　　Maira was still pretending, holding her stomach that she'sin serious pain.
　　Johan said he will take her to the hospital but she insisted that she hate hospitals he should just but her some medicines.
　　Johan accepted. He went to a medical store to get her the medicine.
　　Maira was smiling when he went out. Now she's free from this parrot.
　　When he came back she lay down and he gave her the medicine and brought her a glass of water.
　　"Wish you quick recovery, I will get going. Tomorrow morning I will check up on you"
　　"Alright thank you Johan"
　　When johan went out, she stood up and smile,
　　Next morning maira got up early and dress up. She made a little make up on her face and put on the lipstick Johan bought her.
　　When she went out she saw Johan and they went to work together, he complimented on her dressing and make up, maira was so pleased and happy.
　　Alicia came back from the museum trip, she decide to take a rest at home later she can go bring back her parrot from maira.
　　Later in the evening she went to maira's apartment. She saw maira and asked her about the parrot...
　　"I have gave it to Johan to help me keep it, let me checkup on him and collect it for you"
　　When she knock on johan's room he immediately open it...."
　　"You would've open it with my password"
　　"I can't badge into someone's room like that?"
　　"But last time you badge in because of a parrot right?"
　　"Oh then am leaving, I will ask Alice to come and take her parrot herself"
　　Johan held her hand and drag her inside and close the door, maira was pisses up by his act she try to push him but he hugged her tightly.
　　"Johan what is this?"
　　"I just want us to stay like this for a minute"
　　"Why?"
　　"Because I love you maira"
　　"What!!!"
　　"I started falling in love with you since the day I first set my eyes on you when am being transferred to your school. I have been hiding my true feelings from you"
　　Maira was confused she doesn't know what to say and what to tell him even though she felt the same. She started liking him the day he took her to the hospital when they were in high school.
　　"Why do you keep quiet"
　　She hit him on his shoulder...."stop playing around with me"
　　When she step out to leave he came closer to her ear...."maira I know you love me but you don't want to admit it. Fine I will give you some time to think about it"
　　"I don't need some time to think about it. My main goal is to achieve my dreams okay?"
　　"Oh it seems like you forgot what you came to collect here"
　　He gave her the parrot and closed his door loudly.
　　When she gave Alicia's the parrot, her happy expression turn to sad.
　　Maira ask her why the sudden change of mood and she said, when she saw that maira took long she decide to check what was taking her long to bring the parrot so she came to check johan room and heard what they were saying by the door and that made her sad.
　　"Alicia what did you hear us discussing"
　　" I heard you telling him that your main goal is to achieve your dreams, even though he confess to you his love you rejected him why?"
　　"Why are you so concerned about it"
　　"It seems like am not your friend may be it because we just met month ago, perhaps I shouldn't meddle in your business, am leaving"
　　"Wait Alicia it not what you're thinking, is not that I don't love him I just need some time to think through because I have gone through a heart break and I don't want something like that to happen to me again. You know what? You see johan as a nice person, yes his nice to you people but me he shows his bad side to me before"
　　"But maira that doesn't mean his a bad person may be you need to get to know him better, and you said before but now get to know him"
　　"Alright but I still need some time"
　　"Okay that's a good catch, I will be going"
　　" Alright good luck in pursuing your guy I hope you complete your mission of getting his number"

　　When Alicia left maira kept thinking of johan's words and she felt goose bumps all over her body, she decide to go out for a jugging to stop thinking of him.
　　She saw johan outside jugging together with kayden.
　　Maira have been wondering why johan came out as well to jug.
