Vexon
"Vexon, I want to drive the car," Ruby said when we neared the vehicle. We had just left the party the Gladiolus had thrown for her.
The Gladiolus couldn't wait for a week, so they threw the party right after the doctor released Ruby from the hospital.
I arched an eyebrow. "Sure?"
She rolled her eyes. "I can drive and I have a license."
"I know, I just want you to be careful, and you have Tachophobia," I said, concerned for her.
"It lessened, believe me." She extended her hand and I handed her the keys. I sat on the passenger side.
I knew she could drive perfectly, Mrs. Gerund had assured me she could, but it was slow. So I had nothing to worry about.
"Where are we going, by the way?" I asked curiously.
"If I wanted to tell you, I would have let you drive, Vexon," she deadpanned.
I sighed. "It's midnight. I want to know where my wife is taking me so late at night. What if she hands me over to one of my enemies?"
Ruby smiled. "Then hold onto my leg and grovel if I try to leave you with them."
I smiled back.
Everything was normal, but she still hadn't told me she loved me. Sometimes I believed I would be stuck in the 'I like you' zone forever. I hoped I was wrong.
We stopped near an empty park. I had never been to this park before.
"Why are we here?" I asked while I stepped out of the car, following her.
She entwined our hands as we walked together. "Look at the stars," she whispered.
I gazed up at the clear, dark sky. The stars were beautifully gracing the sky alongside the moon.
"No matter what, the stars will never leave the sky. They will be together forever," she said. I hummed in response, still looking up. "Vexon..." she said, taking a deep breath.
I glanced at her beautiful face, waiting for her to speak further. The light from the nearby lamppost illuminated our faces.
"I know we have faced a lot of problems. We have both suffered so much, but we are like the sky and the stars. We are glued together forever."
My eyes softened at her words. I looked into her eyes deeply and I could see a familiar emotion in her grey eyes.
Love.
"I love you, Vexon Bevine, the Mafia Gladiolus King."
As soon as I heard those words fall from her lips, I felt as if everything were a dream. I closed my eyes. I was afraid to open them because if it were a dream, it would fade.
"In a way, I am glad that you were drugged on our wedding day��" she continued, "��otherwise, you would never have married me. I am glad because you are my soulmate."
I stayed quiet and opened my eyes.
"You are the perfect husband. Your only flaw was my biggest nightmare; that you were a Mafia king. But what's love if it's not accepting your flaws? Besides, I was lucky that my husband had only one flaw. I have plenty and you accepted each of them as if they were your own." She was crying now because a tear slid through her eyes. "I love you so much. I am sorry I realized it so late. I am sorry for hurting you so much. I ��"
I put my finger to her lips. Ruby didn't know how her words had already made me feel. I felt like I was on my way to heaven.
"You don't have to say anything else. I love you too, my Gem."
She pushed my hand away and pulled me in for a kiss. I was surprised by her action, but I kissed her back anyway. She was so precious, and best of all, she loved me. Ruby loves me.
"Come, let's go somewhere else," she let out. Ruby grabbed my hand and we got back in the car. I didn't bother asking where we were going. I was distracted by how happy with her confession I was.
Soon we entered a hotel. I didn't know what Ruby had in mind for us, but all she had to do was look at the concierge and he handed over a room key. He said, "Everything is ready for you, ma'am."
The hotel room was dark except for the few candles scattered about the room. Scented candles. Soothing music was playing from a stereo in the corner. I looked around to find Ruby wasn't there. So I was surprised as to what to do.
My head snapped towards the bathroom door when I heard it click open. The moment Ruby came out of the bathroom, I wished time would freeze.
My eyes widened in surprise and my lips parted slightly. She was wearing red lingerie with a matching see-through lace robe.
Hot. Way too hot.
She bit her lower lip and made her way towards me, not breaking eye contact. She stopped in front of me just a few inches away.
"I love you," she whispered.
Those three little words filled me with a love that only strengthened my admiration and lust towards her.
"I love you too," I replied, wrapping my arm around her waist pulling her close.
She pecked my lips saying, "I am ready."
Oh, how long I have waited for her to say that!
"Are you sure?" I asked tentatively.
"Yes, absolutely positive."
Before I could say anything more, she crashed her lips onto mine. The kiss was passionate, full of desperation. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped both of mine around her torso.
I licked her lips, asking permission to enter which she ignored. I lowered one of my hands and grabbed her ass. Ruby gasped and I took the chance to let my tongue enter. After a while, she pulled back gasping for air.
"Wow," she said, panting.
"Oh, and to answer your question. Yes, I am a virgin," I informed her at last.
A grin formed on her lips. "I guess there's a first time for everything." I immediately picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. "V��Vexon?" Ruby stuttered.
I walked over to the bed and dropped her there. I took off my suit jacket and started unbuttoning my shirt, looking straight into her eyes. She looked at me with a burning desire that only further fueled mine for her.
I pulled off her robe leaving her in that sexy lingerie. I kissed her deeply again. Since it was our first time, we made sure to enjoy every moment of it.
After we made love for many times, I laid beside Ruby and pulled her close to me, covering us with a blanket.
"That...was...amazing," she breathed.
"Yeah. We will be doing that again soon," I said, smirking, to which she blushed. "Aww... come on. What are you still shy about? I have seen every inch of you tonight."
"I'm not shy," she argued.
I chuckled. "Whatever you say."
My quiet thoughts lulled me to sleep as I held my Gem. Today, we completed each other. She loved me. Finally, she was all mine now.
