Danica was nervous slightly��okay, a lot actually. She was supposed to sleep after taking her medicine, but Troy called her and told her to come to a certain open space, which was an hour away from the Rose mansion if the car was used.
She fixed the red blouse that she tucked with the denim jeans. The pendant Troy had given her was on her neck because Tatiana made Danica dress up in her way. Danica��s hair was tied in a nice bun with a clip. When Danica tried to protest, Tatiana threatened to destroy her assignment if she didn��t listen to Tatiana.
It was fully dark. Why did Troy call me here at this time? she wondered and took small steps over the grassy land. She had no idea where to walk, so she decided to continue strolling, hoping to notice Troy at one point.
Seeing a small yellow light illuminating at one side, she walked there, only to find Troy fixing something. When she was near him, she noticed Troy fixing a hot-air balloon. She admired the red coat he wore with a white shirt underneath.
��Need some help?�� Danica asked after clearing her throat.
Troy stopped doing his work and glanced at Danica. His breath hitched seeing her. She was looking stunning as usual. ��Tatiana works fast,�� he mumbled under his breath, thanking her mentally.
A few strands of hair were covering Troy��s forehead, which made him look sexier than before. Danica couldn��t help biting her lips.
��Uh...well,�� Troy started, ��Did you take your medicines?��
She nodded her head. ��Tatiana made sure I did.��
��Okay, I want to show you something,�� he informed Danica. ��Thank you for coming here though.��
��Anything for you,�� she responded, giving a polite smile in his direction, which he returned. She was still nervous about what he was planning to do.
Troy checked the hot air balloon for the last time before grabbing her hand, motioning her to get into it. Danica was scared a little, but with Troy next to her, it gave her courage. She got into it, then Troy hopped on it as well.
��You okay?�� he asked Danica, who gave a curt nod in reply.
Then he pulled a string and the hot-air balloon started floating in the air slowly.
��What are we here doing at this time? There are no lights but this small fire here helping this balloon to fly,�� Danica spoke up, entwining her hand with his and got closer to him in fear. ��Are you planning to push me from here?��
Troy narrowed his eyes in her direction. ��How did you guess my plan?��
��Seriously?�� she let out, along with a gasp.
He chuckled and pinched the tip of her nose, mumbling, ��You are crazy.��
��Seriously, Troy. Why are we here?��
��Don��t you like the fact that we are alone here?�� he inquired. ��Usually you are the one proclaiming your love for me and telling me how much you enjoy my company. What happened now? Are you scared because no one is here apart from us?�� He snaked an arm around Danica��s waist, making her heartbeats rapid.
��Tr���� she was interrupted by Troy.
��Are you scared to be alone with me, Dani?��
She shook her head in denial. ��I am not. If I was, I would bring Tatiana or Aziel with me while coming here.��
��Then what is stopping you from breathing?�� he asked, noticing she was taking short breaths. ��Breathe, Dani. I won��t do anything bad, I swear.�� He gave an innocent look with those blue eyes which could melt Danica.
��You never acted like this before,�� she breathed out.
Troy arched an eyebrow. ��Maybe you never noticed properly.�� He further spoke, ��I have always spoken to you in a different way since middle school.��
��I observed nothing unusual. My eyes were always on you because of my big crush over you, so I noticed every single detail about yo���� she stopped midway realizing what she blurted out. She never told anyone about Troy Kingston being her crush.
��This is why you never noticed, Dani,�� he said with a big smile plastered on his face. ��You were so busy admiring your crush that you failed to notice my love for you.��
��What?�� Danica was dumbfounded hearing what he just said. She knew he loved her after returning to California. She never noticed anything unusual before. Was she really so blind admiring him that she failed to notice his feelings?
��Look there,�� he whispered in her ear, pointing his index finger over the entire town they could see from the hot-air balloon. His grip over her waist tightened, as he tried to pull her closer to him, leaving no space in between.
Danica followed where his index finger was pointed at and watched the buildings getting illuminated with yellow lights, making herself let out a gasp in surprise.
��Will you make Tronica real?�� it was written over the buildings. After a minute, the lights changed into white color and another sentence was written, which the couple watched from the balloon. ��Will you accept the fame you got by accident?�� It got changed again into pink color. ��Will you be my girlfriend, Danica Waylon?��
The lights didn��t change over the buildings anymore, nor did the sentence change.
Danica��s eyes glowed in amusement, unable to believe what she was watching. It was the most romantic proposal she had ever seen. She almost had tears covering her eyes.
��I promise to cherish you forever,�� Troy whispered in her ear. ��I love you, Dani. I loved you ever since I started knowing you in middle school. You taught me what love is. I want you to be my first and the last love. I want you to claim me as yours like you always did. I want you to give me that right as well.��
Danica didn��t dare to look into his eyes. She was busy looking at the city lights, unable to believe it was all real. Troy loved her from the beginning, but she failed to realize it because of her massive crush on him. She always thought that crushes were meant to be admired from afar, but she never realized that one��s crush could also be the soulmate one was looking for.
Life was like a video game. It depended on how well one played. Danica was grateful that when she failed the level of love after leaving Troy, she returned to level-up in the game.
��Dani?�� Troy��s voice made her snap out of the trance. ��Will you be my girlfriend?��
She turned to see his handsome face, looking at her with admiration. She smiled and said, ��You know I love you and I will definitely agree to be your girlfriend. Why did you make it so romantic?��
��I wanted to make you feel special,�� he responded.
Wrapping her arms around Troy��s neck, Danica mumbled, ��I knew I was special since I met you.�� With that, she pulled him into a kiss.
As Troy was about to kiss her back, he paused and said, ��Wait, I think I should turn the camera off.��
She arched an eyebrow in confusion. ��Camera?�� She saw Troy taking out the camera from one side of the hot-air balloon. ��You proposed to me over WhyNTube live?�� she asked in amusement, feeling more special than before.
He scratched the back of his head. ��Well, I needed to let my Stones know that they didn��t ship the wrong couple. Even though the accidental live kiss led us to be in a fake relationship, our feelings were true for each other. I decided to propose to you over the WhyNTube live and also apologize to my family for lying to them.��
She smiled brightly feeling proud of Troy and took the camera from his hand. She faced the camera and said, ��We are really sorry for the fake dating, but as Troy said, our feelings were real. From now on, Tronica is real.��
Troy grabbed Danica from behind, placing his head over her shoulder as he looked at the camera Danica was holding, and said, ��We love you, Stones. You guys are our family.��
��Indeed,�� she agreed. ��See you later.�� With that, she closed the camera and turned to Troy.
Troy cupped her cheeks and placed his thin lips over her soft luscious ones. Danica placed her arms once again over his neck and deepened the kiss after giving his tongue the permission to enter into her mouth.
It was their first official kiss as a real couple; it was the beginning of Tronica��s love.
