It was a new day, more like a Sunday��so it meant everyone had a holiday. Danica was free of assignments, and others didn��t have any shooting. Troy wanted to make a new video for his WhyNTube channel along with everyone to surprise his fans. After all, his fans loved it when Troy made videos with everyone in the Rose mansion. But he didn��t want to make a video and upload it to his channel with Kenji in it; so he dropped that idea and decided to make a video with everyone later.
Everyone was sitting in the outdoor chairs of the garden. Gabrielle was drinking juice and gossiping with Tatiana and Danica. Troy was hearing the new ideas for Hernan��s next video while giving his opinion on each. Trevor was playing basketball with Aziel, and Kenji was inside the mansion because he wanted to prepare something special for everyone.
In between talks, Troy did steal some glances at Danica, and she did the same.
��Here is Kenji��s special custard for everyone,�� Kenji announced and placed the tray he brought on the table. ��Try it all of you and let me know how it is. I am really nervous.��
��Don��t worry. I am sure it is great,�� Hernan assured him and helped him serve the custard to everyone.
Danica was sitting next to Troy. Kenji handed the custard to Troy, but he didn��t take it saying, ��I am not in a mood.��
After taking the custard from Kenji��s hand, Danica took a spoonful of it and decided to feed Troy at first. ��Come on, taste it. Once you say whether it��s okay or not, I will eat.�� She knew that Troy would never eat the custard made by Kenji, and it would hurt Hernan��s feelings, so feeding him the custard was the only way Troy would taste it.
��Now Troy cannot back off since his girlfriend offered it,�� Trevor spoke up after he sat next to Gabrielle, while Aziel sat next to Tatiana.
Danica was waiting for Troy to eat it and when she realized he wouldn��t, she begged quietly, ��Please.�� Then she secretly pointed her index finger towards Hernan, who was watching them.
Sighing, Troy ate a spoonful of custard offered by Danica. With a grin on her face, Danica continued to eat the custard.
Hernan sighed in relief, knowing Troy didn��t hate his boyfriend anymore.
��I have to go to Alabama next month, babe,�� Gabrielle said to Trevor.
He replied while eating the custard, ��Okay, I will check my schedule and see if I can accompany you. I hope you didn��t forget after two months I have a photoshoot in Greece. You will tag along, right?��
��Of course,�� Gabrielle breathed out. ��I told my assistant to not take any projects at that time.��
Danica admired Trevor and Gabrielle��s relationship. Both of them were celebrities, one being a model, while another was an actress. Yet, they would always accompany each other in their shoots if it was out of California. They would clear their schedules for each other and make equal amounts of sacrifices.
��I am not getting married if I don��t find an understanding person like Trevor and a romantic person like Troy,�� Tatiana spoke up.
��How am I the romantic one and he is the understanding one?�� Troy asked in confusion.
Tatiana explained, ��Since I am an actress too, I need an understanding person like Trevor who will help me as it happens with Gabrielle. And I need a romantic person like you, who loves one specific girl for such a long time and doesn��t date, just because he is fully loyal to her.��
Danica stared at Troy with amazement.
��That��s bullshit,�� Troy mumbled, noticing the intense gaze of Danica over him. ��I will go and bring my camera. I can record some scenes to use for the upcoming videos.�� With that, he got up and marched inside the house.
After a while, Danica excused herself when Troy got up to bring his camera from his room and followed him. She went to Troy��s room, only to find him looking out of his window, crossing his arms against his chest.
Danica tip-toed towards Troy. Even though he could feel her presence, he didn��t turn around. Thinking that he was not aware of her presence, Danica wrapped her arms from behind and rested her head on Troy��s back.
��Just because you don��t confess doesn��t mean you don��t feel the same for me,�� she mumbled, closing her eyes.
��It doesn��t even mean that I feel the same because I didn��t say anything about it,�� Troy deadpanned. He didn��t push her away because even he was liking the position they were in. ��Suddenly, how did you gain so much confidence? Earlier, you weren��t this much blunt over your feelings.��
��Well, earlier I thought it was just a crush but after moving into this mansion, soon I realized it was more than a crush. A crush would never last more than a few months or a year. After I realized I liked you, my feelings for you were deeper than like. Then I found out that I fell in love with you, and I was the dimwit to think I had only a crush on you from middle school.�� She further spoke, ��Since I love you, what should I be afraid of? My feelings are clear, and I don��t want to hide it. I want to love you and claim you as my boyfriend. You are the reason I feel so confident about everything. I won��t hesitate to confess my love for you and I never will.��
Troy��s heart skipped a beat, hearing these words from her. Love changed her, that too her love for him made her change for good. She started to become confident and blunt. She didn��t hesitate to say or do something she thought was right. It made Troy happy, but the thought that she would leave after the vacation would end still bothered him. And she didn��t even tell him the reason for leaving, which was the only reason Troy didn��t confess his feelings to her. He took an oath not to confess until she told him everything.
��Do you trust me, Dani?�� he asked in the quiet room.
��There is no reason not to trust you,�� she responded.
��Then why are you not telling me the reason for your sudden disappearance?�� he questioned at last.
��I am afraid you will get hurt,�� she breathed out, opening her eyes, but still holding him.
Troy turned around to face her and cupped her cheeks. Their eyes met and he mumbled, ��Will the reason hurt me more than you not telling me the reason?��
She averted her gaze. She wanted to tell that she didn��t want to push him into danger, but if she said that, Troy would ask more questions and it would result in her revealing the entire truth.
��Even if we start something between us, that goddamn reason will ruin everything,�� he said with a groan. ��Let��s go. Others might be waiting for us,�� he announced and took the camera from the nightstand. Then he walked out, Danica trailing behind him.
After they reached the garden, Kenji said, ��Both of you came at the right time. I have an awesome idea.��
Troy and Danica looked at each other in confusion.
Kenji offered to everyone, ��How about we play a hide-n-seek challenge part two?��
