It was the time for the hide-n-seek challenge. Kenji and Hernan, both of them decided to shoot the video on their own for their respective channel. Earlier, Hernan wanted Kenji to do it only for his channel on WhyNTube for increasing his popularity, but Kenji suggested he make the same video from his perspective.
��Okay, so each one of you will have your own camera and record your clip wherever you will hide. The winner will get ten thousand dollars which are funded half from Hernan and half from me,�� Kenji informed and watched Hernan hand cameras to Gabrielle and Trevor.
As Kenji was about to hand a camera to Danica, Troy held his hand. He said to Kenji with a forced smile, ��I will give her a camera.��
��Why?�� Hernan spoke up. ��We bought these cameras for y��all so that every time we do group challenges, we can use them. This will be our thing.��
Troy twitched his lips, thinking while Danica broke the awkward by taking the camera from Kenji��s hand. ��Thanks, Kenji.��
Kenji gave a toothy grin and handed another camera to Troy, who took it with a sigh. Even though Troy was trying to be nice to Kenji, he couldn��t. He was getting an unusually bad feeling about everything around him. As if this wasn��t how things should continue.
��Okay, so I am going to do my intro, and then we can use the same intro for our videos, right babe?�� Kenji glanced at Hernan, who nodded.
��Yeah, I will just say some more stuff in the beginning during the editing and make it slightly different,�� added Hernan.
��Alright then. Come here, guys. Stand here so that y��all can be seen in the intro,�� Kenji instructed, and all stood behind him and Hernan. ��Let me turn on the camera.��
All faced the camera with a smile as Kenji started speaking, ��Hello, fam. Welcome to my channel. As y��all can see, my friends and my boyfriend Hernan Matias are with me in this video. I am pretty sure everyone knows them, yet let me introduce them once again, in case you don't know them." Troy resisted the urge to scoff and tried to maintain a happy face. "This is Troy Kingston, and we have solved our rivalry and we are good friends now.�� He pointed the camera at Troy and proceeded to show Danica. ��And his lovely girlfriend Danica Waylon, the owner of overnight fame.��
Troy placed his hand on Danica��s waist, pulling her closer to him in a protective manner and away from Kenji. Danica suppressed her smile, ecstatic that Troy was still worried about her before anything else.
Hernan introduced in his camera, saying, ��This is my friend Trevor Bennett and his girlfriend Gabrielle Kingston.��
Everyone was trying to fit in one camera, so Gabrielle was pushed towards Kenji, resulting in Kenji holding her by her waist. Gabrielle flinched at his touch and scooted closer to Trevor.
��So in today��s video, we will do a hide-n-seek challenge. This means everyone will hide in this mansion while my boyfriend, Hernan, and I will look for them. The last one to be found shall win ten thousand dollars,�� Kenji announced looking at the camera.
��That seems fun,�� Troy said, bringing back his lively nature whenever he talked with his fans. ��Wait till I earn that money, stones.��
��You have enough money. So this prize money is mine,�� Danica said, sending a challenging look to Troy, who smirked.
��Continue arguing because I will win this,�� Gabrielle butted in.
��Yes, because whatever I win will also be my girlfriend��s victory,�� Trevor spoke up, making Gabrielle roll her eyes.
��Ooo��the competition looks tough,�� Hernan said to Kenji. ��What if we find them all at once? Will we keep the money?��
Kenji shook his head, chortling. ��No, we will divide it among them.��
��There goes my precious five thousand dollars,�� Hernan feigned a sniff and handed the notes on Kenji who mixed it up with his five thousand dollars. ��Whoever wins this, I will bother that person till he or she buys something expensive for me with this money.��
��Okay, everyone keep your camera on and record your part. We will start counting by sitting on the couch. We will count till thirty,�� Kenji informed them all.
Danica, Troy, Gabrielle, and Trevor wouldn��t have played the game seriously if they didn��t challenge each other through their words. Now they knew that they had to win the prize money at any cost and not let others win.
��One,�� Hernan started counting, facing the door along with Kenji. ��Two.��
As soon as they started to count, the four of them ran in two separate directions. Trevor and Troy in one direction, while Gabrielle and Danica in the opposite direction.
��Okay, look,�� Gabrielle started, panting due to running so much. ��We will make sure Troy and Trevor are found at first. Then among us, whoever will win, we will take fifty-fifty. If I or you win, the two of us will divide and take five thousand dollars each. We will show them our girl power.��
Danica was in Gabrielle��s room, while she was talking to her. Danica looked for a suitable place to hide but she decided it was not safe to hide in Gabrielle��s room.
��Dani? Do we have a deal?�� Gabrielle asked her.
��Okay,�� Danica agreed to her deal. ��Let��s part ways then. We shouldn��t tell each other where we would hide because that would ruin the run. But we will divide the money for sure.��
��Then let��s run to different paths as soon as possible. Hernan is already counting to number twenty.�� Gabrielle walked out of her room with Danica trailing behind. ��You can go in that direction while I go over there,�� said Gabrielle and went in another direction, which was towards the gaming room.
Danica was walking around to hide in an unfamiliar room, but she ended up bumping into someone��s hard chest. ��Oops,�� she mumbled and fixed her hair which was left open.
��You didn��t get hurt, right?�� Troy��s voice screamed concern, which made Danica look up at him.
She smiled and shook her head. ��Your fans are called Stones, you are not a stone. Chill.��
He pushed back a strand of her hair behind her ear and said to her, ��Wherever you will hide, stay safe. I am having a bad feeling about it.��
She arched an eyebrow in confusion. ��About what?��
��About everything,�� Troy answered and that was when Kenji hollered.
��Twenty-seven!��
Eyes widening in fear, Danica ran to hide, leaving Troy behind. While running, she noticed a white door that was slightly open. None could have seen the door and would think of it as a wall if the door wasn��t partly open. Since she didn��t have much time, she got inside that small room and closed the door.
Heaving a sigh in relief, she leaned against the door and looked at the room, which was fully dark. She tried to find switches for turning the lights on, but she failed to see anything. Her phone was not with her, rather she kept it on the coffee table of the living room when Kenji was doing the intro.
��Oh my god,�� Danica breathed out, her breathing becoming rapid. ��I should turn the camera��s flashlight on.��
But when she checked the camera, which was in her hand, she that it had a low battery. Within a second, the camera got switched off as well, leaving her alone in the darkroom.
��Is anyone there?�� she questioned, but her voice just echoed. Her heartbeat started to fasten in fear. All of a sudden, a big screen lit up in front of her. She was afraid to look at it first but when the scary sound effects of flesh being torn apart reached her ears, she glanced at the screen only to find a pair of glowing red eyes glaring at her way, saliva dripping from the long, sharp, yellowish teeth. The grotesque creature was feasting on an alive woman. A few more furry werewolves gathered together and howled in synchronization, leaving her ear to buzz at the screeching sound.
Putting her hands over her ears, Danica screamed.
