To say Troy was shocked would be an understatement. He couldn��t believe the girl he loved for years had the same feelings for him. Even though Danica��s confession melted his heart, he was reminded of how she didn��t tell him the reason for leaving him behind three years ago.
How could he accept her without knowing the real reason for her leaving when he took an oath of not confessing his love to her until she opened up about her past?
Thinking of it, Troy didn��t kiss her back. It was hard to resist her, but he had to.
Noticing that he didn��t kiss her back, Danica stopped the kiss and ran a hand through his soft chestnut hair. ��I am not forcing you to answer me.�� She smiled warmly and said, ��You can answer me whenever you want. I will wait for your answer, but till then, I will continue expressing my love for you.��
Troy continued looking at her, unable to answer.
��Just remember, things are real for me, and I don��t mind being the girlfriend of Troy Kingston,�� she mumbled and kissed his forehead before getting up. Then she left the room as Troy kept looking at her way.
As soon as Danica reached her room, she closed it and leaned on the door, taking a deep breath. Her cheeks were red already. ��What did I just do? How did I get so much courage?�� she asked herself, unable to believe the stunt she pulled a few minutes ago. However, she was proud of herself for confessing her love to Troy.
Meanwhile, Troy was still surprised. He let out the breath he was holding back for so long. His heart was racing like never before. It was so hard to not pull Danica closer and kiss her back like there was no tomorrow. He had to hold back every fiber of his being that told him to forget everything and just live in the moment. He touched his lips, feeling the lingering warmth of her lips. He shook his head as he tried his best not to get swayed by it. Then again, he had been waiting for it for such a long time.
He wasn't sure what he should be feeling at that moment. Should he be ecstatic that his love confessed her feelings to him? Or should he be upset that even though she loved him, she refused to tell him everything about herself?
Troy was conflicted with all these feelings. But for now, the biggest question in his head was, how should he act around Danica?

Hernan had called everyone for a talk in the living room after lunch. Apparently, he wanted to announce something very ��important��. So Danica, Troy, Trevor, and Gabrielle were sitting on the sofas, while Tatiana took Aziel to her shoot. Troy was trying his best to act casual around Danica as if he wasn't even aware of her confession.
��Is everything okay, Hernan?�� Danica spoke up in the awkward silence, and others waited for Hernan to speak.
Nodding his head, Hernan took a deep breath. ��I want to tell you guys that I am dating someone. Actually, I have been dating him for the past two months.��
��That��s great.�� Gabrielle asked, ��Who is it?��
Troy stayed silent and continued listening. He and Trevor knew that Hernan was dating someone, but they were disappointed because he didn��t tell them at first.
��Recently, he asked me to move in with him,�� Hernan continued, not replying to Gabrielle��s question.
��What did you say?�� questioned Danica, who was sitting next to Troy, stealing a glance at him.
��I rejected his offer and told him to move in here instead,�� Hernan cleared up. ��My boyfriend is Kenji Abraham.��
A gasp escaped from Gabrielle��s lips. ��The WhyNTuber who always tries to insult Troy?��
Hernan shook his head. ��Yes, he is that WhyNTuber, but he doesn��t try to insult Troy in that way. He just wants to be famous an����
��And that��s why he always digs up dirt on me, trying to ruin my image,�� Troy spoke up bitterly and Danica glanced at him.
Danica had some idea about Kenji Abraham, the black-haired guy with brown eyes who roasts Troy in his every video. He wasn��t that famous, and he received more hatred from people than love. His videos had more dislikes than likes. He was clearly jealous of Troy, who received everyone's adoration just by being himself. Kenji has been like that since high school.
��I never knew he liked boys,�� Danica mumbled, grabbing everyone��s attention.
��You are right,�� Trevor supported Danica. ��He dated plenty of girls in high school.��
��He did, but now he is into boys. He finally came out,�� Hernan spoke up, ��We met when I was visiting Los Angeles to vlog in a restaurant. Since then, we got close and started dating each other. I love him and I want him to move into the Rose mansion so that he can live with us. This is what I wanted to tell you guys. He will move in tomorrow in the morning.��
��That's not happening,�� Troy said and got up.
Hernan sent him a challenging look. ��Why is that?��
��Why not?�� Troy started and Danica got up from her seat along with Gabrielle, ��Hernan, he hates me. It��s obvious that he wants to dig up something or create something about me and demean me in front of my fans. I cannot take that risk of him staying here and watching me twenty-four hours a day.��
��Actually, Troy is right.�� Trevor got up as well. ��Making Kenji Abraham stay with us will be harmful to Troy��s image. In fact, for all of us. He might attack me, Gabrielle, you, Aziel, and most importantly, Danica. We cannot put so many lives at risk.��
��That motherfucker Kenji,�� Gabrielle whispered to Danica, ��He wants to harm my brother and he is fully prepared this time. He has been dating Hernan for two months, dude. This is all nicely planned.�� Gabrielle grabbed Danica��s hand, mumbling, ��This will be a heated argument. I will handle Trevor while you handle Troy.��
��He has changed. I know him,�� Hernan said to Troy and Trevor. ��I have been dating him for the past two months. He is a good person and he roasted Troy just for fame, but the poor guy ended up receiving hatred.��
Troy walked to Hernan and placed a hand over his shoulder. ��He is not trustworthy, bro.��
Hernan pushed Troy��s hand away. ��He is. Have you seen him insulting you in his videos anymore? He stopped doing it for the past two months because he regretted doing it.��
��Just think about it carefully. He hasn't been posting any new videos yet, which is suspicious,�� Trevor pointed out. ��He is planning something big, Hernan.��
��Look, Hernan.�� Troy sucked in a deep breath. ��Think wisely. Kenji might just be using you to get back at me. Don��t let him move in the Rose mansion.��
��Oh,�� Hernan let out with a humorless chuckle. ��So Danica Waylon can stay here because Troy said so, and no one has a goddamn problem, even though she is his fake girlfriend. But my real boyfriend cannot move in with me. Nice.��
Danica was taken aback at the comment of Hernan. She couldn��t believe this was the Hernan Matias she grew up with.
