Grandma spoke to Daddy, but he seemed not to hear her and did not answer.

Suddenly, Grandma slapped Daddy hard which startled me.

"You didn't appreciate her before. Now she's gone. What's the use of being sad now?"

"What now? Are you giving up the company? Ignoring your child?" Grandma's words hit hard.

She pushed me to Daddy, "This child is yours. Take care of her yourself. Don't expect me to do it for you."

"I've said it before. Aurora is Aurora, Ivy is Ivy. You mixed them up."

"Now she's gone. Your only job is to take good care of your child." Grandma left after saying this to daddy.

That night, Ms. Brook came with red eyes and a box of food. She said, "I wasn't at home that day. I saw Luna knocking on my door through surveillance and thought she just came to play."

"I regret not asking more," Ms. Brook spoke through tears

After Ms. Brook left, Daddy seemed to realize something. He went to the study, turned on the computer.A video of my mom and me living at home played on the computer.It turned out there was a camera in the house, recording our previous life at home.

The video captured a night. Mommy sat on the sofa in front of a TV.The people on the TV laughed heartily but Mommy did not laughly.

Mommy looked like she wanted to make a call but put the phone down each time.

She hesitated with the phone several times. I rubbed my eyes, walked to Mommy, and continued sleeping in her arms.

Mommy held me for the whole night.
