Chapter 6 Hello POV

That night Mommy made a lot of tasty food and put me to bed before Daddy got home.

When Daddy arrived I woke up.

I wanted to tell Daddy to always love Mommy so we could live happily together forever.

I peeked out and saw Mommy in a beautiful red dress serving wine to Daddy.

But Daddy pushed her away. He seemed very angry. "The same old trick again?" I felt scared hearing Daddy say that.

Mommy looked shocked. "What are you talking about?"

Daddy sneered. " Was it really just a coincidence at the bar five years ago?"

"Did you get close to me on purpose?"

Mommy lower her head sadly

Daddy did not glance at Mommy. "Let's get a divorce. The house and the car are yours. Luna is yours. Don't worry about money. I'll give you what you deserve. Then we're even."

I feel sad when I hear "divorce". My classmate Sable Reed doesn't see her mommy much because her parents are divorced.

Tears fell from Mommy's face. Daddy didn't comfort her. Instead he said "Why cry? You married me just for money,right?"

Mommy shook her head and said"No,I married you because I want to be with you."

Daddy didn't seem to believe Mommy. He walked away without looking back.

Mommy stood there alone for a long time.

She whispered "Have you forgotten? It was you who held me tight and told me not to leave." "That was the first time I knew what is the feeling of being loved ..."
