'Why would Liam be unable to find me? I thought since he has mated with me and marked me he'll be able to find my whereabouts, or has he given up on me? Even if he did, which is unlikely, what about Gabe and Eric? Are they finding it hard to follow my trails? I purposely left my hairpin on the floor so he could sniff on it. Why isn't anyone coming for me?'
While she was thinking the door to her little prison opened and a masked man entered with a smirk. He covered only his forehead down to his nose leaving his mouth and chin uncovered.
And started laughing maniacally, "oh look how pathetic you look Clara, or should I say, Luna?" The strange man said.
"I beg of you please let me go, I will pay you three times the money offered to you for my kidnapping, just let me go"
He kept quiet as if he was attempting to accept the proposal before him, but laughed immeasurably.
"Well, Clara you are right on one thing and that is I am after your money alright, but why just a small share when I could get it all? Why a purse of money when I could get the whole pot?"
"Please good sir, let me go I promise to give you everything you want"
"Oh how very thoughtful of you, I would love that if it were that simple to lay hands on. Well enjoy your stay here as my guest and prisoner and very soon, you'll bear something that will make us whole"
"What do you mean by that sir?"
"I see you are quite curious, but now is not the time for that. It will be a revelation for another day"
She stood up to want to stab him from behind with her remaining hairpin but was caught easily by the man. She may be brave but she was fragile compared to him.
"Oh Clara, if only it were that easy to defeat me, I wouldn't be here. Since you don't like the freedom I gave you of free movement around this little room of yours, then we'll go the hard way, hey you chain her to the wall with no water or food for the next three days."
"No please help me, no please I didn't mean to, I won't do that again please," Clara said amidst tears
"I am very sure you won't" with that said, he left her there, and just like he ordered there was not a drop of water for her that day and she was so exhausted.

Eric was still at the mountain, it's been three days since he left the camp in search of Luna.
He doesn't want to go home without any important information, he doesn't want to bring false hopes to his alpha. He was determined to find Clara even if it meant sleeping in the forest.
He cares deeply about Clara because she always treated him like a brother.
And this made him reminisce about the good times they had at camp some two years ago.
'Clara was down on all fours on the bare floor wanting to meditate as if she was a werewolf, she was there for hours hoping she would change to one as easily as they do.
It was a beautiful sight to see, at least she wasn't afraid of their existence like other humans would, maybe because her childhood friend Gabe was one or because she was in love with one of them. Couldn't figure out why. But then she felt at home in our midst which was appealing to know.
"Clara, what on earth are you doing? Why are you on all fours?" Gabe asked when we both walked to where she was.
"Fine, you caught me, I wanted to shift from human to a wolf like you and Eric do"
We couldn't stop ourselves from laughing and this made her hair stand on edge, she got angry at both of us for making fun of her.
So I decided to ease her anger, by offering to teach her how to fight, even though she was human she still needed to be able to protect herself.
This thought of fighting elated her and so they began training.
After that, they decided to party amongst themselves, and then she drank a lot and started talking randomly
One of the things she said that I could recall was she called me the best friend and brother she ever had.
That warmed my heart. At the time she was just Luna in the making, she could have been proud if she wanted to, but she wasn't. She was very humble, kind, and caring. And this made most people if not all in the pack accept her as their Luna, that's why the city was thrown into chaos in response to her disappearance.
Eric was settling down in the woods when his guts told him to keep searching he may find something of great help in his quest of searching for Clara. He kept snooping sniffing all through the night.
Back at camp, Liam has already sent words for his deltas to come back home from the east, and his omegas from the north. Jasmine may have been worried about the pack for some wrong reasons, but she was right about one thing, which is that he shouldn't sacrifice the peace and safety of the tribe for his issues.
So anytime soon he would be expecting their arrival at the camp so that they rest and go to the border to secure and protect the camp from humans and rogues alike.
After an hour later they all came back to the camp and Gabe came in to drop the message that they were back
"Alpha, your men are back from their various posts. What are your orders?"
"Let them rest and take their showers and also spend some quality time with their family before going to the border."
"Okay, it is done Alpha" he bowed and turned to leave but Liam stopped him by calling out to him.
"Gabe"
"Yes Alpha Liam, what can I do for you"
"I need you to find her Gabe, will you find her?"
'To be honest Liam, every night I rush as fast as I could to check where we usually hang out in the forest hoping I get to see a glimpse of her again, I have never been separated from her side for this long, I can't bear it knowing she is out there all alone with no one by her side."
This revelation weakened Liam because he thought Gabe was not affected and that his best and only childhood friend was missing.
"Please find her, Gabe. I am stuck in the camp for now until she comes home"
"I will do everything I can to get her back home here with us, with you, where she belongs. And whosoever took her will pay with their lives for this. They will regret everything they've done. I will find her no matter the cost even if it means my life don't worry pal we'll find her, I promise. But for now, let's just grab something to eat to gain some energy OK?" Gabe said to Liam
"I don't think I have the appetite to eat anything because I can't lose her she's the only person I can think about right now," Liam replied
"I know it's hard, brother, keep in mind that you won't lose her. We just need to figure out our next move to find her and get her back home safely and unharmed" Gabe said reassuringly to him
After a few days passed Eric couldn't find her he got the feeling they were long gone. It was midnight and the moon was full and he decided to take a rest for the night. While trying to make a fire, wolves started howling from every corner of the woods.
But Eric didn't take it seriously and tried to light up the fire he was making. After he lit the fire, Eric turned to pick up some woods behind him to make the fire last longer for the night to keep him warm. But while picking up the second wood from the ground, werewolves rushed so fast behind Eric and switched off the fire he had made. When Eric turned back to figure out what just happened to his fire, a wolf jumped on him trying to bite his head off but Eric used one of the woods he picked from the ground to hit the werewolf's face and quickly turned into a werewolf and fought hard with six rogues wolfs that night he killed four of them, leaving one injured but the last one managed to escape.
Eric grabbed the injured werewolf angrily and asked him where they were keeping Clara hostage. But before he could ask the werewolf where Clara was being held the werewolf stopped breathing and died. Eric searched all the werewolves he killed and found out that, all the werewolves he killed had the same markings on their hands and he saw one of Clara's jewelry in the hands of a werewolf.
Eric became so angry and started howling so loudly to the point that Alpha Liam heard the outcry of Eric's howling.
Alpha Liam was sad hearing the sound of Eric and asked Gabe
"Did you hear that?"
But Gabe heard nothing and said, "Not really, what's the matter?"
Alpha Liam said," I think I heard the voice of Eric howling angrily."
"Seriously? Come on Eric has been gone for three days now, there is no way that's him. Maybe it's just another werewolf in the woods, don't think too much" Gabe said.
So they decided to take a rest for the day. But Alpha Liam was still so worried and since he was stressed out he drifted off to sleep.
While Eric who was in the woods that night was struggling with thoughts of what to do, after minutes of thinking, he decided to race back home as soon as it's dawn the next day, to tell Alpha Liam and Gabe his discoveries, hoping it leads to Luna Clara's location soon.
