"Eric tell me more about what happened last night?" Jasmine kept asking Eric who seemed reluctant to say a word
"I don't have words Jasi I mean you are supposed to be a cultured young Lady how could you throw yourself on a man like that" Eric said shaking his head
"Did I really kiss him? Did I really throw myself at him huh? Answer me" Jasmine asked
"Oh dear don't force me to reveal everything," Eric said and then turned to leave Jasmine kept staring in his direction and felt embarrassed if she really did all those things Eric talked about then how can she face Gabe she totally embarrassed herself in front of him she decided to run quickly to her room although Liam asked everyone to be at the dining table for breakfast this morning she wanted to skip it she couldn't face Gabe turning around to leave she bumped into someone
"Can't you watch where...?" Her words rolled back inside it was Gabe now that she found out what she did the other night she felt embarrassed
"Morning Jasmine you know you really should stop bumping into me I might just think you are doing this intentionally," Gabe said Jasmine slowly glared at him
"Sorry I lost focus on where I was headed," Jasmine said looking down at the ground and then turned to run upstairs to her room
"Aren't you going for breakfast I mean Liam specifically asked us to come for breakfast don't tell me you are not going" Gabe said to Jasmine who was looking like a kitten who got caught stealing
"I'm not skipping breakfast, why should I? I mean why should I skip breakfast for you, I'm not..."
"I never asked who you are skipping breakfast for I only asked if you aren't going down for breakfast," Gabe said as if Jasmine misunderstood his words
"I was just going to... to get something upstairs," Jasmine said and was about to run up the stairs when she heard someone say
"Jas where are you going it's time for breakfast" hearing Liam's voice Jasmine cursed under her breath "why do you have to be such a pain" composing herself she greeted
"Morning brother, Clara I thought you guys were still in bed and so I decided to hurry and pick something from my room" Jasmine lied Liam knowing his sister very well could tell she was hiding something
"Are you sure?" Liam asked
"Yes of course," Jasmine said
"Very well why don't you come to have breakfast first whatever you wish to get in your room is not running away," Liam said, Jasmine had no option but to join them for breakfast she reluctantly walked down "ah Gabe good morning" Liam greeted seeing he was lost
"Morning Alpha morning Clara"
"Morning Gabe" Clara greeted on getting to the dining table.
Eric was already seated on the left-hand side Liam sat at the head of the table and Clara sat at his right
"Were you guys trying to kill me of hunger and you two Gabe and Jasmine where were you? I thought you were behind me, Jasmine?" Eric said angrily
"Sorry we took much of your time Eric," Liam said
"That's okay alpha but this sister of yours needs to be thought some manners," Eric said like a child reporting another to his parents
"I'll be sure to do such in the near future. Meanwhile, let's eat" Liam said and everyone began digging in and eating quietly
"So the reason I asked you all to come early for breakfast instead of the usual. (Which was eating dinner together) I called you all because I need your help with the preparations"
"Oh, so any special request brother?" Jasmine asked
"Well umm... I think we need to split up into teams"
"Teams? Sorry I work better alone" Eric said
"Okay of course I know my betta hates team work so Jasmine you and Gabe would be a team"
"What? Hell no I can't... Work with him." Jasmine stammered
"And why is that?" Liam asked
"Nothing it's because I wanted to work with you instead," Jasmine said trying to make Liam change his mind about her and Gabe working together
"I'll force myself in my beta's team then at least he can't say no to me and besides I'm the groom so I don't have to do too much work my beta and best friend will handle things," Liam said and this made Jasmine angry. Gabe was so elated Jasmine was going to be working with him he couldn't wait to get started on their work.
"Ah this reminds me from now on Clara won't be staying in your room anymore starting now you would be staying in my room," Jasmine said to Clara Liam's eyes darkened
"And why should she stay in your room?" Liam asked angrily at Jasmine's suggestion
"That's because..." Before Jasmine could continue her words Eric cut in
"You can't see the bride, especially on the day of your wedding it's a bad omen" Liam was enraged that even Eric was in support of Jasmine's crazy idea Jasmine was smiling because she knew she just made her brother angry and that too for making her work with Gabe she got her revenge
"That's right Liam I thought since you guys are werewolves you don't have such beliefs so I didn't suggest anything" Clara said
'How could she want to leave me? I can't live without her, no I... 'Liam's thoughts were disrupted
"So Clara pack your bags you are staying with me," Jasmine said to make Liam more pissed Liam was no longer in the eating mood and spirit so he said
"I'm done eating" and walked away so Eric gave out portions to Jasmine and Gabe
"Both of you would be in charge of the flowers for the party and umm... Jasmine, you'd be in charge of keeping Clara safe since she'd be in your room make sure not a single scratch is seen on her body" Eric ordered
"You know Eric since you are so keen on a scratch not being on her face or body why doesn't she stay with you then maybe you..." Noticing the cold glare from Eric "I'll stop talking now, Clara let's go get your stuff to my room and Gabe see you at the party venue for the type of flowers to be used later okay" Jasmine said and walked away holding Clara by the hand the duo left Eric and Gabe
"I better get to work I'll check on you later oh and since you already have a date for the afternoon I'll see you when I see you," Eric said and walked away leaving Gabe on the breakfast table Gabe continued with his breakfast he ate to his fill and then retired to take a nap before Jasmine and he would go prepare the venue for the party.
When Clara and Jasmine headed towards Liam's room to get Clara's stuff Clara asked Jasmine to wait outside and that she wanted to speak to Liam alone.
Jasmine didn't argue with Clara but let her do as she wished knocking on the door Clara walked in Liam was a bit angry she knocked before coming in was he a stranger to her now he thought
"Liam" Clara called
"You are here to get your things right?" Liam said
"Yes but are you okay," Clara asked
"Yeah I'm fine," Liam said grumpily
"No you're not," Clara said "look at me," Clara said holding his hands "in a few day's time I'll be all yours we'll always be together no one can separate us then okay"
"But we don't think we can live without you even for a day," Liam said
"You and your wolf are so childish I'm not leaving forever I'm only going to stay with Jasmine okay"
"Okay," Liam said hugging and kissing her "I'll miss you," Liam said
"I'll miss you too," Clara said and got her needed stuff for the next few days she was about to walk out when Liam pulled her for a hug Clara was shocked at the sudden move made
"Liam!"
"Were you leaving without saying goodbye?" Liam asked
"There are no goodbyes Liam see you soon," she said reciprocating his hug "can I go now Jasmine is waiting for..." Before she could complete her words Liam kissed her Clara blushed under his touch and then ran out the door. Jasmine who was getting all impatient was about to storm her way into Liam's room and take Clara away from her brother when Clara rushed out blushing "hmm I've been waiting for you and there you were making out with my brother" Jasmine said pretending to be angry and feigning a pout
"I'm sorry Jasmine but your brother didn't want to let me go he..."
"I don't want to know the details let's get you to my room so you can rest while I go prepare the venue" collecting Clara's things she kept them in one corner of her wardrobe
"It's time to go to bed," Jasmine said to Clara
"But I'm not sleepy yet" Clara complained
"Hey you are under strict supervision I'm in charge of keeping you safe so I'm not going to let you joke about your health take a nap and I'll have lunch delivered to you okay"
"Okay," Clara said
"Good off you go," Jasmine said Clara smiled thinking 'I now have an older sister who cares about me, a family who cares about me and would do anything for me this brought warmth to her heart and she slept without any disturbance on Jasmine's bed. Jasmine began to think of a dress to put on she had to impress Gabe. Dressing up and putting on light make-up she headed down the stairs.
Gabe woke up in a haste "ah my date I nearly slept over time Jasmine's going to be mad at me for coming late I'm supposed to be a gentleman" Gabe was talking to himself he immediately got dressed and headed to Jasmine's room in a haste
"Ouch" Jasmine screamed "can you stop being clumsy for once and watch where you're going" Jasmine screamed at Gabe
"I'm sorry Jasmine shall we go," Gabe asked Jasmine just nodded and they both headed to the venue Eric was already barking orders to those who were doing something contrary to his words
"I said those belong over there are you deaf," Eric said angrily he hates it when people don't follow his orders
"Eric" Jasmine called
"What? Oh Jasi, Gabe you're both here" Eric said calmly seeing it was his friends
"Hmm you must have been really angry," Gabe said tauntingly
"Don't get on my bad side Gabe and you both get to work" he screamed at the duo who stood watching him talk to Jasmine and Gabe
"Woah Woah calm down Eric," Jasmine said
"Gabe let's also get to work and see if we can help him give orders his getting stressed," Jasmine said
"Okay let's go, see you later Eric," Gabe said and he and Jasmine both left to choose the flowers for the wedding
"Mrs. Shawn these are the flower magazines you asked for"
"Thank you," Jasmine said to the florist
"So umm I'm thinking we should go with peonies and hydrangea what do you think," Jasmine asked
"No way Jasmine I'm going with roses and orchid," Gabe said
"Oh please those are so last season," Jasmine said
"But they are Clara's favorite"
"Orchid? Her favorite? ``Look, I know you love Clara but as her make-up artist and sister-in-law, I suggest that you better change those. I mean okay let's try this excuse me" Jasmine said calling a young girl.
"Yes" the young pretty girl answered
"What are your favorite flowers?" Jasmine asked the young girl
"Oh daisies and hydrangea," she said
"See? Any other preferences?" Jasmine asked
"Umm peonies and roses," she said
"Thank you so much dear," Jasmine said and the young girl left them
"See roses are beautiful and I admire Clara's choices but orchids aren't so pretty" Jasmine debated
"Have you two decided yet?" Eric asked but seeing Gabe's facial expression "are you two arguing again?"
"No we aren't," Jasmine said
"Well, I sent you here to be in charge of the flowers, not fight over them so get those things ready."
