They left for the town square to pass judgment
Clara was beside Liam, While Eric, Jasmine, and Gabe were behind them. So they moved to the punishment center before their arrival. Everyone in the town was already there curious as to what was happening. So they started murmuring amongst one another
"What do you think happened that would make the Alpha ask for everyone to be present here by noon?"
"I have no idea, but whatever it is it's not a small matter"
"I am very sure it isn't one. But what could it be? Why would they not allow me to sleep?"
"My question exactly I mean I am still weak from yesterday's party with all the booze I drank"
"Why wouldn't you still be affected by that? You drank ten huge bottles of different intoxicating alcohols last night so it's none of my business just wait until the alpha gets here"
Just then, a masked man with a sharpened axe came walking hurriedly to the stage meant for execution, the people gasped at this sight and the ladies started murmuring,
"Isn't that the executioner?"
"Yes he must be, what could be happening that would warrant such a hard means?"
"Oh no, who could be the person who is going to be killed today?"
"Could it be me?" One asked panting and sweating profusely
"You, how come? What did you do this time?"
"I actually have a cell phone in my possession" she answered with whispers.
"What?" Those who heard yelled out loud
"Come on that is punishable by banishment but not one fit for execution, but it would do you much good if you disposed of that soon enough if you survived this afternoon that is" an old strange looking woman who is called Adelle behind them who heard said
"Okay, thank you, ma'am Adelle I promise if I survive this one I would never do such" the one who had committed such said.
Just then a sentinel bowed down and greeted his alpha and started reporting to the beta so that he'll convey it to the Alpha's hearing. Seeing that the alpha was in there everyone comported themselves.
"Beta, the thing is everyone is present but those guarding the punishment center are afraid of the prisoner because she has been screaming to anyone who comes near and they all run away. So no one could extract her from the cell" the sentinel explained with all manner of seriousness to Eric
"Okay will report to the alpha and I'll go bring her here if that's all it takes" Eric replied
Eric headed to where the Alpha was sitting with his Luna in the making. And whispered into his ears then the latter also whispered to him after which he (Eric) headed to the stage and prepared it for the alpha by introducing and acknowledging his presence to the crowd by saying
"Everyone, we are all here for a very serious issue but the alpha will talk about it to you all thank you"
With that Eric left the stage and beckoned him to come up, after which he left.
The Alpha's face wasn't filled with happiness at all, this threw everyone into a serious panic. Cause it's never a good thing for the Alpha to be angry at the pack.
So he began his speech at the podium placed in the center of the whole town with an angry voice.
"As we all know, yesterday was a night to celebrate and have fun, especially for our soldiers who are always training rigorously. It was a day off for them to lighten up their moods. But something happened yesterday, something that I will never condone, not now not ever and that is disobedience. These rules were made for the safety of the whole pack but then they were disobeyed. I will never allow rebellion of any kind in this town, the rules are not much but they are vital for our survival. On the night and the day of the coronation of our beloved and dear Luna. Something grievous took place in this town, and it is insane so certain measures will be taken. One of us committed something treasonous in the dead of the night hoping we would never find out"
Just then Beta Eric came dragging a werewolf whose hair has tangled all over her face that she was hardly recognized and a big bag that had some foul smell of blood to the execution stage, everyone gasped in confusion
Liam then continued his speech...
"That lady you see here is a member of this tribe and what she did is unheard of, you can see a big bag beside her, it is the corpse of her twin sister"
Everyone gasped in dismay
Liam continued and said
"I am a just and fair Alpha and great leader of this pack, but I would not condone a murder case or any kind of violence whatsoever. But in a case like this, there is just one sentence I can pass. Linda Marshall for the killing of your very own twin sister Lisa Marshall in cold blood and for continually disturbing the peace and breaking the laws of the crescent pack thereby desecrating the sacred day of the coronation of the Luna of the crescent pack with blood. I Liam the Alpha of the crescent pack hereby sentence you Linda Marshall to death."
Everyone gasped, and began murmuring again,
"How could she do that to her own twin?"
"I knew she was capable of doing this and much more"
"She is so wicked I mean this is uncalled for"
"Why not banish her rather than kill her?"
"Why should she be freed? She deserves it"
"How can killing your own twin be justified? She deserves this and much more"
"Executing her would be the best thing ever because if she is banished to a faraway land she could come back here after years and still place the whole town into chaos. So killing her now is the best decision ever to be taken"
"You are very right, she deserves death banishment is too good a punishment in a case such as this one"

The executioner held onto his well-sharpened axe and said to the one about to be killed "Any last words?"
Linda Marshall who has been quiet all the threw said,
"I will never rest until everyone involved in this plot is annihilated, even in the underworld, I will never stop. I Linda Marshall will never ever rest until the Luna joins me in the underworld"
Hearing this Liam was so furious so was Eric and every other person present at the square including the executioner. This made him decide on his own account that she deserves no pity, he immediately raised his axe and then ended her life that was how Linda Marshall the crazy banshee died. She had to pay for her sins and for her twin's ruthless death to be avenged, she had to go.
After which the executioner took her head and placed it inside the same bag that Lisa's body was in and took it to be burnt.
Everyone was so surprised about what had just happened that they all stood there unmoved.
Liam then climbed the stage again for more information to be passed across to everyone so as not to have to do this again, so he said
"Everyone what just happened was something that had to happen to create order, we can't harbor murderers in our midst, and neither can we banish them to the outside world. It would put everything and everyone in jeopardy. So stay calm, I know what just happened is a very sad issue. We lost two of our own in death in less than 48 hours. Now there is another thing to be announced that will bring smiles to our faces."
Everyone began listening attentively while others were whispering. So Liam continued again and said,
"Everyone calm down, there is a cause for celebration. The whole pack will be having a great ceremony soon, in two weeks there will be a wedding. Your alpha will be getting married to his beloved Luna in two weeks. So every one of you should make that day a joyful one, at least let everyone put in their best to make it a day without pain but a happy and big day filled with joy and happiness. Starting from this moment let the celebrations begin"
There was a loud uproar, the whole people began jubilating and everyone began singing, and the event that just happened was long forgotten.
Everyone left the square with joy and danced because everyone has a lot to do, which is the preparation for the upcoming wedding of Luna and Alpha.
"Can you believe that ever since Luna came we've been experiencing parties and fun?"
"Yeah I am glad she came when she did, she is so beautiful"
"Yeah she may be a human but she isn't scared of our existence, do you think the other humans might be too?"
"Don't be ridiculous, other humans hate us with all scorn so you better not associate yourself with those low lives even if you do, try not to get caught that you are a wolf else they will make you their headline news."
"Humans don't understand the fact that we are wolves, they will kill you where you stand, and Luna only accepts us because she is destined to be here. And besides maybe after she is marked she may become one of us"
"You are very right"
"Come on, let's try to go make our hair and everything, we have a huge wedding to prepare for. And besides am not getting any younger I need my mate"
"Exactly, me too"
As the ladies were busy talking about finding a guy to be their mate, just then Gabe, Eric, and Jasmine were passing by them and the ladies halted at Gabe's sight.
They began saying
"Oh isn't that the cute guy that was dancing with the alpha's snobbish sister?"
"Yeah he is, he is so cute and perfect. I will surely have him"
"No way will I shoot my shot and when I do, he'll be mine"
"I am sure he is not taken, look how handsome he is in those jeans perfect ass, which I could spank them"
"You bet"
All this time Jasmine was listening to the girl's talks and her hair began to stand on edge, cause there was no way she was going to allow any lady to come near the guy she held onto last night.
Speaking of last night, Gabe is so handsome, truth be told. His muscles are so huge, he is so handsome and he is every girl's dream. I can't believe we slept in the same bed last night. I wish I could get drunk every night so I'll spend more time with him. Jasmine thought
"What are you staring at so shamelessly?" Eric who saw Jasmine losing her guard came up to her and asked
"What do you mean by that?" Jasmine retorted
"Jasi you may be forgetting that I am observant, so tell me who this guy you keep thinking about is?"
"What? what... Guy?" Jasmine asked stammering
"Is it still that human guy you are daydreaming about?"
"No way, why would I?" Jasmine quickly answered
"Aha if it's not the human guy, don't tell me it's Gabe this time." Eric caught on.
"What? Why would you say that?"
"Because Jasi you've been staring at his ass all day. I saw you gulping over him."
"Not really" Jasmine tried to lie to Eric but it didn't work
"Speaking of Gabe, I saw you both last night. He took you from the party ground and took you to bed. When he was about to leave you held him so tight and told him not to go. You asked a guy to sleep with you Jasi, have you no shame?"
"How did you find that out? Did he tell you?"
"He doesn't have to, I came peeping I saw you holding on to him and caressing his bare chest and you kissed him" with that said Eric left
'How come I don't remember any of this?' Jasmine thought and ran after him calling out to him to explain more
"Eric Eric wait up" Hearing this Eric quickened his pace
