The next day the whole town was still bustling. Some slept at the party venue, some went home, and others were still awake since they are used to less sleep due to rigorous training of always being awake. While those who were still awake kept chatting amongst themselves, the night before was exciting for them.
Eric woke up late due to the stress from yesterday when he was working too hard all though and last night, he had to pursue that crazy banshee. First, he'll go see how she is holding up
Speaking of her, what has she been up to anyway?
Linda was locked up in the punishment center yesterday night after she intended to secretly throw off the body of her twin who she had killed earlier into an ocean far away from the town so as not to be found but unfortunately that was inevitable.
Linda was screaming and ranting like some wild child. It would seem like the spirit of her dead sister was hunting and disturbing her.
"Go away I hate you, I have always hated you, ha-ha is glad I killed you hahaha you stupid twin I hate you, you should have died from birth you idiot hahaha go to the underworld where you and the rest of the crazy family are hahaha" She kept spouting nonsense.
Back in Jasmine's room, Jasmine woke up first to see a guy on her bed, whom she was holding onto so tightly.
'What have I done? Oh no, I must have embarrassed myself. What was I thinking about getting drunk last night?'
She wanted to sneak out of the bed quietly but unfortunately for her and fortunately for Gabe. Gabe woke up, it was weird air between them no one knew what to say so Gabe thought about pranking her to see if she is a jovial person, since she acts tough most times around him.
So Gabe smiled at her and said,
"Good morning beautiful"
"Morning" Jasmine answered with mixed emotions
"Hope you enjoyed last night? You are so adorable. Last night was amazing"
"What?" Jasmine asked yelling
"Calm down will you, we both became an item last night. So don't yell at me, you were whirling all around me last night and even threw up on my body and then kissed and drag me to bed and the rest is history"
"What are you babbling about?"
"I am blabbing about the fact you and I became an item last night, if you doubt me check the suit in the bathroom then you'll know. So sweetheart I'll leave the suit which you threw up in here. I have something important to do this morning. I really enjoyed last night" Gabe said and winked at her while Gabe left her room and was smirking nonstop outside until he bumped into Eric who was planning to come and pull him out of that room.
"Took you long enough fool, just trying to take care of a drunk lady you slept in her room till dawn?"
"Come on I am sure you are just being jealous I didn't spend the night with you as we had planned"
"Oh no, all of a sudden you remember our plans? After you spent the night in the arms of a beautiful lady, now you want to cuddle up in my arms?"
"Hey how did you know, I was in a lady's arms? Don't tell me"
"Yes, I saw you last night with a woman actually. And this morning you reek of her charms after being in bed all night with the Alpha's sister and leaving me all cold out here alone, not minding how your handsome mate is doing, now you suddenly want to kiss and make up with me so easily? Well not so fast"
"Hmm you are truly stressed out honey, come on I will make you the best orange juice ever then you can tell me how your night went"
"Actually a lot happened last night, I need to see the alpha now it's urgent"
"Nope you won't, not with those baggy eyelids come on you need to look presentable. Besides they will surely have a morning moment with each other in bed, all these things are important to couples if you distract them it won't end well for you buddy. Come on let's go fix you up" Gabe moved closer to Eric and Eric gasped
"You reek of foul smell, did Jasi throw up on you?"
"Yeah"
"I think you need a great fixing up as well pal come on," Eric said as they held onto each other and went to their room.
After bathing and washing themselves up thoroughly, Gabe went to the kitchen and made some orange juice and added some cube blocks into it, and gave a cup to Eric so that he could be calm. He truly needed it.
"This is so refreshing Gabe, you are one true juice maker"
"You make me blush, so tell me what happened?"
"Yesterday at the party, I was surveying around. That was when I saw Jasi on your back and then I saw Liam and Clara almost making........"
Eric began narrating everything to him.
Back in Liam's room, they were both fast asleep due to last night's rigorous session of lovemaking. But then they just had to wake up sometime, Liam opened his eyes, and the sun was blazing into his room through the balcony window. He looked at the clock beside him. It was 10:30 PM. Then he felt the hair of his beautiful mate scattered on the pillow beside his arms and he looked longingly at her again. He could have another session with her right then and there because he is not sure he will ever get tired of her at all. She was the most prized possession he'll ever have in his possession.
He began pecking her so hard on her forehead and cheeks and neck
"Hmm, Liam"
"Baby... Good morning" Liam still kissing her vigorously
"Hmm morning, come on I am tired from last night, baby."
"You can't blame my love, I can't seem to get enough of you," Liam said, still kissing and caressing her boobs.
"I love you too, but you need to understand that I am not running away from you" backing him and trying to stop him from continuing what he has in store for her.
"If you aren't, then why are you backing me?"
"Because it's another day, now we need to get to the pack" Clara said why coming down from the king-sized bed.
"Okay but I want my Luna now" Liam whined attempting to grab her back to the bed, but she was quick to stand up and escape his grasp and since she was naked Liam was staring at her every part, shamelessly and seductively licking his lips expectantly, seeing him like this and noticing she was actually naked she quickly ran into the bathroom and as for Liam he wouldn't let it go nope he wouldn't let this opportunity of having to bath with her pass him by, so he ran in after she and giggles could be heard while the shower was on.
After they took their bath and changed Eric knocked on the door and after he heard a voice telling him to enter he did.
"Good morning Alpha, Luna"
Eric bowed and just then Gabe walked in saying "Good morning Liam and Clara how was the night?" Clara blushed hearing this said
"Fine thank you, Gabe," Liam said
Just then Eric continued with his usual morning duty which is morning report. After reporting everything that happened he then continued
"And also there's been a murder case..." Eric continued but was cut short by Liam's yell
"What? What the hell happened?" Liam asked
"Well maybe if you would have let me finish you'd know by now" Eric replied
"Okay sorry for interrupting you," Liam said
Jasmine walked into the room
"Morning bro... What's going on?" Jasmine asked
"Going on with my report, Alpha, it's Linda she killed her twin"
"What when?" Liam asked surprised although he knew Linda was crazy he never thought she would kill her twin.
"She was killed before the party last night and Linda wanted to get rid of her body but I caught her"
"Good job Eric," Liam said
"Hmm I'm not surprised that bitch actually killed her sister she has never been up for any good" Jasmine said shaking her head
"But then why didn't you report to me last night?" Liam asked Eric
"How and when could I have done that? Last night you were having a great moment with your Luna, should I have brought such a case to you then? And besides, it's your Luna's coronation day, why would I bring such awful news to ruin your beloved Luna's coronation?" Eric asked.
"Thank you Eric for looking out for me," Clara said
"I always will Clara, you are my Luna and is so, of course, I would always look out for you," Eric said smiling at Clara who just complimented him for a job well done.
"You did good Beta," Liam said
"You should pass a judgment this noon or after at the town square today, to teach everyone who would or might think of doing such things in the nearest future not to or suffer the consequences" Eric suggested
"I am not supposed to say this since I'm not an origin of the crescent pack, how about you banished her?" Gabe said
"Banishment? No way is that too small of a punishment she deserves more than that" Jasmine said
"I have already decided, get everyone to gather at the square and prepare the executioner" Liam left with anger he would never condone any form of the murderous act in his pack.
Clara ran after him and stopped him to reason with him not to take such a weighty decision so quickly.
"Liam... Liam wait up" Clara called out to Liam
"What is it, Clara? Don't try to change my decisions okay, this is the best for the Pack. Go back inside this isn't a matter for you"
"Oh, why not? Because I am not a wolf?" Clara asked
"Of course not, why would you say that?" Liam asked confused
"Look here, fine I won't tell you how to run your pack, you are the alpha after all. But don't you dare tell me it's not my place, if it isn't why you did announce to everyone that am your Luna?"
"I just don't want you to experience war okay? I need to keep you protected from such"
"I understand you are looking out for me, but if you want me to be valued by your pack. Then you'll have to accept the fact that I will always be by your side when you pass judgments, is that clear?"
Eric, Jasmine, and Gabe were standing staring at the duo exchanging words.
"Yes ma'am" Liam finally answered Clara so as not to be on her bad side cause that would mean a great punishment for both him and Cole which they weren't ready for.
