"Am here, am here stay calm dear am here" Gabe said back to the sleeping beauty on the bed so he sat down.
Back on the dancing floor Liam and Clara were both lost in each other's charms
Clara couldn't take her eyes off her fiancé's eyes; she just kept staring at him. Likewise, Liam until he subconsciously said
"You are beautiful"
Clara who was far lost in his eyes didn't hear what he said she only knew his mouth moved
"Hmm, you said?" Clara asked and Liam held on to her and took her away from the dancing floor he can't wait anymore he just can't.
He hurriedly took her to the back of a tree a little distant from the party ground.
And kissed her so hard on her lips he couldn't wait anymore.
Their tongues kept having a war in their mouths.
Eric saw them from a distance and smiled at them. He was just surveying through the grounds since Gabe was watching over Jasmine. He had no one to talk to at the moment, so he just had to survey the grounds cause when they thought nothing would happen the enemies could arrive and get their way.
As a beta it was his duty to make sure everywhere was safe for the pack and his Alpha. So it's his Alpha's and Luna's night he had to take sole responsibility for keeping everything in order.
He turned back and began walking towards the dancing floor when he saw someone suspiciously walking off the dance floor. So he watched her go out of sight, he then decided to follow her from a distance. At first, he thought she was just drunk, but hearing how fast her heart rate was beating hard in her chest he decided to see what was happening. So while walking closer he saw it was Linda the crazy wolf again. 'What on earth is this lunatic wolf up to this time?' Eric thought and began watching her closely.
Linda walked into her room and began cleaning the blood from the floor and squeezing it into the leather bag she had earlier purchased from the market when she went to get her clothes for the party tonight.
Since everyone was busy with the party this was the best time to hide the dead body of her twin Lisa whom she had earlier slain.
So she put Lisa's body into the bag with every ounce of strength she had left. She then brushed the ground off some blood. Also, the blanket she had used earlier to cover her body was already heavily soaked in her twins' blood.
So when she finished cleaning up the best way she could, she took the bag outside, not after she had peeked through the door and windows to make sure she wasn't being followed. She then held onto the bag with all her strength and began running into the forest. Immediately Eric followed her.
"Hmm... Liam... calm... down let's go into our room first instead what if someone sees us making out like this?" Clara said to Liam who has been sulking on her lips and caressing her body non-stop for close to an hour.
"No I can't wait for that long, Cole is planning on taking over" immediately Clara saw his eyes red for a while after much blinking of eyelids Liam's original eye color came back.
"Cole behave, I know you both want me at least both of you should wait till later then you can have your way if you can't wait for a few more minutes no lovemaking for the rest of the month not even on our wedding night"
Cole growled and howled a little and then behaved because he didn't want such intense punishment.
"Love, why are you doing this to me? You know how much I can't do without you babe, I need you right now"
"And you will have me in due time but for now let's go party a little bit then we go upstairs then you can do whatever you want to do"
Liam began grumbling like a five-year-old who was denied milk candy.
This made Clara laugh heartily and said
"You are so adorable you know that right?" Liam didn't say a word he was just sulking.
"Come on behave Liam behave," Clara said while holding his hands and dragging him along back to the party ground. She stopped at the food stand and demanded some chicken immediately the older chef turned around and recognized them he bowed and said,
"Alpha and Luna it is an honor to be in your presence"
"Come on don't be so formal," Clara said
"Wow!! She is kind as well as beautiful, thank you Luna for gracing me with your presence tonight, I'll package some chicken for you both and ask someone to take it to your room rather than eat out here"
"Wow!! Thank you so much" Clara said astonished
"Mark get a takeaway chicken and package some cold drinks with it" The older chef yelled to his younger assistant and in less than 5 minutes almost immediately, the package was prepared and Clara accepted it with open arms and gratitude
"Thank you, good sir"
"But of course, it's your day, I want to officially say welcome to the pack," the older chef said smiling at his Luna
"Wow!! Am honored"
All this while Liam was quietly staring at his Luna and how jovial she was to someone she never knew. He was amazed at the fact that she is so calm living with wolves and this made him happy.
"Okay thank you for this, I'm sure it'll taste wonderful. Bye, good sir and hey Mark bye" she said and waved at both the older man and his young assistant while the latter kept glaring at his Luna with all manner of love and happiness so this made alpha Liam hold onto her possessively, because of all the eyes staring at her bare smooth skin.
Liam then held on to her and took her straight to their room. He was tired of waiting its high time he satisfied his lustful desires, I mean no one can look at such beauty and actually have her in her grasp and not do something about it especially when she is your fiancée and fated mate.
Linda rushed with all force outside town unknown to her Eric, the alpha's beta and her sworn enemy was following her.
She was about to throw the bag into a deep ocean when Eric caught the bag and punched her in her head with a great force that she flew backward. She may be a banshee but no match for a beta as strong as Eric.
Eric ran after her so that she wouldn't scurry away as crafty as she was. When he caught up with her, she was coughing out blood and groaning in pain.
'How could he find out my plans so quickly and even follow me this far? I made sure I wasn't followed' she thought
"Linda it's you again isn't it, why are you so mischievous you seem like you've seen a ghost but it's just me you see."
"How... Did... You find. Me?"
"To have asked such a question you must be truly naive or maybe you bumped your head on a stone else common sense would have told you, I followed you"
"Please let me go"
"Let you go how? I am not holding on to you am I?"
"Okay I'll head back now," Linda said and wanted to run off but Eric blocked her and said
"Not so fast, what do we have here?"
"Nothing," Linda said
"Why then does it smell of blood? You must have done something mysterious again, I suppose."
Eric opened the bag and what he saw was a body covered with a blanket and it was her twin in her pool of blood, lonely in a bag. This angered Eric that he punched her in the face and that she fell face down.
"How dare you do this to your very own twin? Did you chop your sister's head off her body? How crazy you must be to do that"
"She... She... deserved... it"
"I am sure she did, just like how you are going to deserve what's coming for you"
"I am so sorry, please let me go"
"Oh, now you are sorry? You are now regretting the fact that you tore her very own twin apart?"
"I am not regretting killing her I'll never regret that"
"Wonderful, you know what? I am not even angry that you killed her. Damn it, if it were up to me, I would have killed you both for always disturbing the peace and serenity of our dear town every day with your useless bickering. But right now, what am furious about is that you decided to do this wicked act, murder your twin on our Luna's coronation day, today of all days."
"I wish she didn't threaten to report me to the alpha, she would have still been alive now and your beloved Luna would have taken her place..." Before she could say another thing Eric slapped her so hard on her cheek that she fell hard to the ground.
"Enough of your ranting tomorrow you'll be executed as well if it's up to me"
Eric dragged her off and took her back to town to face her punishment tomorrow since tonight was Liam and Luna's night he didn't want their night's peace and fun to be disturbed, so he took her straight to prison as the punishment center to await her fate and he kept the bag of her twin in there with her in the same cell, she killed her so she should keep the cold body of her twin company for the night.
"Eric don't you dare leave me in here with her, she deserved it... Eric let me go" Linda yelled inside the cell as Eric locked the door leaving her in there with the cold corpse
"Gabe... Gabe... Don't leave me" Jasmine was talking subconsciously in her sleep.
Hearing this Gabe who had already soaked his suit in water in the bathroom ran up to her and held onto her and said
"Am here Shh shh I am here" When he said that Jasmine opened her eyes slowly and asked
"Where am I?"
"You are in your room, go back to sleep," Gabe said softly she had no choice but to close her eyes and clanged onto his arms strongly so Gabe had to lie down on the edge of the bed with her.
'Wow!! She is so beautiful. I wish she could get drunk every night so that I can be by her side every day. But why is it that whenever I am beside her my thoughts are always disrupted? Why can't I seem to be focused? She is really a beauty to behold, her lips so soft and her hair so long. Cole kept thinking that she couldn't take her eyes off the beauty in front of him, while he stared longingly at her that way for hours until he dozed off.
Meanwhile, Liam on the other hand can't seem to have enough of Clara.
Immediately after they got inside their room, Liam took captive her lips and claimed her lips once more, and slowly brought Clara straight to bed. As soon as he landed on the bed, he tore off her dress and flanged it aside. He was really sex-starved. Cole growled seeing this, he was excited at the fact that he'll be having his way with the one he loves, his fated one tonight. Their joy knows no bounds, he kissed her neck with all manner of gentleness he could spare and went back to her lips again, and he just couldn't get enough of them. Finally, he had his way with her. It was the best feeling they both had. Cole kept howling with happiness that the crescent goddess herself would hear its voice of fulfillment. After which he whispered into the ears of a tired Clara breathing heavily and said,
"Thank you my Queen for coming into my life, I can't do without you"
Clara then blushed to hear this and said,
"Thank you for tonight my Alpha" They both held onto each other under the blankets and slept off in each other's arms.
After Eric had locked the lunatic Linda in her cage he went back to the party to survey for a little while after which he went to his room hoping to find Gabe there but to his utmost surprise he wasn't back yet he sighed deeply and then he slumped on his bed and slept off.
It has been a stressful day for him. He needed all the rest he could get before dawn.
