"You can open your eyes now Clara," Jasmine said
"Are you sure?" Clara asked feeling nervous
"Yes am a hundred percent sure you can open your eyes," Jasmine said with all certainty
Clara slowly opened her eyes and was so shocked at the sight before her and exclaimed loudly
"Wow!! Is this me? I can hardly recognize myself. Is this really me? I never knew I could ever be this beautiful"
"Believe me Clara even without make-up you are beautiful, now let's get you on that dress. it's almost time for the party and I'm sure my brother and Eric are getting a bit worried since you aren't out yet and I also have to get ready"
"Should I help you get ready?"
"No no no hey you are the bride and a make-up artist is always late to parties that's if she's invited but don't worry I'm a wolf and I can use my super speed so let's get you ready"
"If you say so," Clara said, wearing a long fishtail gown that was off shoulders and was visibly showing her bare back.
"Oh, my dear you look even prettier than I thought you were, knock them dead with your looks darling. I'm sure my brother would go nuts seeing you like this can't wait to see how he'll look at you tonight" Jasmine said feeling proud of herself and then whispered into Clara's ears and said,
"Who knows he may tear off that dress and have his way with you after the party tonight?"
Clara blushed hearing this and giggled.
"Come on admiring yourself more, I'll go down to dress up give me 20 minutes then I'll survey and I'll be ready okay," Jasmine said rushing out of Clara's room Clara kept admiring herself in the mirror she kept blushing thinking how surprised Liam would be seeing how beautiful she is. A few minutes later Jasmine walked into the room in a wine-colored dress she was really beautiful
"Wow Jasmine you look beautiful"
"Oh my thank you, Clara, shall we," Jasmine said holding Clara's hands they both went down. Liam, Eric, and Gabe saw the two ladies walk down the stairs. Gabe couldn't get his eyes off Jasmine; he kept staring helplessly at her like he saw an angel coming down. Liam on the other hand kept gawking at Clara as she walked down the stairs. The trio kept looking at the two beauties in front of them
"May I present to you the Luna of the crescent pack," Jasmine said to the trio
"You look beautiful Clara," Liam said holding her hands
"Hey Jas," Liam said pecking her
"Hmm I'm surprised my brother acknowledged my presence," Jasmine said jokingly
"Are you making fun of me?" Liam asked frowning slightly
"Of course not brother how can I ever make fun of my alpha," Jasmine said chuckling
"Hey Jasi," Eric said hugging and pecking her as well "and to my beautiful Luna greetings," Eric said bowing slightly to Clara
"Hey no need to be so formal Eric you are like an older brother to me."
"I'm not being formal Clara I'm just being realistic" Eric said
"Gabe" Clara called out
"Hmm, I guess being the Luna and all you forgot your best friend didn't you," Gabe said trying to lighten the air and pretending he was angry.
"Of course not, how can I forget you?" Clara said, hugging him and pulling away from him.
Gabe's attention was on Jasmine again and this time they both kept staring at each other
"Hmm what's with you two," Liam asked
"What?" Gabe and Jasmine asked at the same time
"My point exactly why are you both secretly admiring each other and yet you both can't even say hi to each other" Liam asked
"No, we are not!!!" They both yelled again
"Guys enough bickering and enough arguing we have a party to host," Eric said, snapping them all from their fantasy. Liam held Clara's hands and Eric led the way so Jasmine and Gabe were left behind to tag along.
'Walking beside him is making me nervous. I mean how can he affect me so much?' Jasmine thought, walking slowly behind everyone without concentrating on where she was headed. Jasmine stepped on a stone and tripped and Gabe immediately caught her hand
"Are you okay?" Gabe asked Jasmine who slowly opened her eyes and saw Gabe who caught her by the waist and held on to her wrist
"Yeah I'm fine," Jasmine said pushing him away and straightening herself up without saying anything else she walked away from him. Gabe just shook his head and tagged along to the party.

At the party, everyone could be seen dressed beautifully and well organized, and although there was a lot of noise everyone was composed and since their alpha wasn't there yet they were all catching fun. The ladies could be seen trying to get the attention of the men around and those who were already together kept talking to each other Jasmine went on stage
"Ladies and gentlemen your attention please," Jasmine said and everyone was quiet and took their seats
"As you all know today we celebrate the coronation of our Alpha's mate and today she is officially known to us as our Luna but first pleases a round of applause for our Alpha," Jasmine said calling Liam on stage. As Liam walked in his charismatic Aura a lot of Ladies kept admiring him even though they knew he already found his mate
"Great crescent pack as your Alpha I'm proud of you all and how you've obeyed the rules and regulations binding our pack. I'm sure with years you would keep growing in knowledge and wisdom and you would protect our pack in case any danger should fall to us. But today we are all gathered here to know who our Luna is. You should all know that the same respect given to me must be accredited to my Luna on no account must any of you be caught disrespecting her doing so means disrespecting me and disrespecting me has its consequences so on no account must such be heard of" Liam said authoritatively Linda could be seen walking into the venue she saw Liam on stage and felt a bit scared and guilty but then throbbing off such feelings she sat quietly along with the others just then she heard Liam say
"Meet your Luna Clara" Clara walked gracefully towards Liam and he held her hands and pulled her close holding her by her waist. Linda could be seen boiling with rage; she didn't want to cause a scene because her mind was thinking of how to get rid of her sister's body without anyone noticing. Applause can be heard and everyone kept admiring Clara
"I wish I could have a mate as beautiful as her" Aiden said to his friends and they all began to criticize him saying
"You think you could be fated to have such a mate I pity you," Diego said
"Are you mocking me right now?" Aiden asked
"Of course not," Diego said and all his friends burst into laughter
"So everyone enjoys the rest of the evening have fun but make sure you can come early to the training ground even if you got a hangover to be there bright and early" the audience began giving gurgling sounds and murmurs can be heard as to Liam's words and he left the stage with Clara in his arms Eric walked on stage
"Everyone enjoy the rest of the evening and tomorrow, be bright and early on the training ground next tomorrow," Eric said and cheers can be heard of course they knew their Alpha was kidding it was a tradition that after the coronation of a new Luna there was to be no training or any form of work the next day.
Everyone began celebrating drinking until it was time to dance Clara was a bit nervous she was going to mess up her dance moves and the fact that all eyes would be on her made her more scared
"I'm here okay take my hands," Liam said reassuringly
"Okay" Clara replied and held onto him the fact that Clara's dress revealed a large portion of her back made Liam kind of angry the way most guys kept staring at her bare back made him upset, noticing the slight change in Liam's face Clara asked
"Are you okay you seem distracted?"
"I'm fine it's just..."
"Just what huh?"
"Nothing," Liam said slightly embarrassed at his thoughts
"If you don't tell me right now I'll walk away from the dance floor," she said as he pinned her around
"Okay I'm just a bit jealous at the way those guys keep staring at your bare back," Liam said like a child whose candy was stolen by another and is reporting to his mother how he was wronged Clara laughed at his words
"Yes they might be staring but it's not theirs it's yours," Clara said Liam felt mesmerized by those words his wolf kept tempting him to have her right then and there but he just couldn't even if he wanted to. After the dance more couples came to the dance floor and began dancing
"Can I have this dance?" Gabe asked Jasmine she was a bit shocked but then she didn't decline after all she never thanked him for his nice save earlier.
"Okay," she said nonchalantly
They both headed to the dance floor and a few ladies who were crushing on Gabe because they haven't seen him around before felt jealous of Jasmine but they make the perfect couple just like their Alpha and his mate.
As they kept dancing Jasmine felt weird to his touch she began losing focus on her dance moves and stepped on him
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry," she said noticing that her absentmindedness has been noticed
"It's okay," Gabe said enduring the pain

After their dance Jasmine retreated to the bar. She decided to have a drink or two to clear her head of what she was thinking, losing focus in front of him acting not so in character.
"First of all, I tripped, and then I lost focus while dancing. What's wrong Jasmine" she asked rhetorically, pouring more drinks and drinking harder. She became drunk but still didn't want to stop drinking.
"Mrs. Shawn I think you need to stop drinking, the Alpha might get angry if you..." The bartender tried to explain but was cut short
"Leave me be okay my brother won't question you for nothing," Jasmine said drinking more, Gabe saw Jasmine drinking
"Can I join you?" He asked Jasmine hearing the familiar voice said
"What do you want from me? Stay away from me okay" Jasmine said
"Why should I stay away? I never did anything wrong to you or have I?" Gabe asked
"Yes, you did I... You... You bumped into me" Jasmine said in a drunk state still drinking more
"Jasmine you are drunk let me take you home"
"Drunk? I'm not drunk, I'm fine maybe you are drunk, or maybe you want to get drunk" Jasmine said angrily in her drunken state
"Why would you say I'm drunk? Stay the heck away from me" Jasmine kept spitting out nonsense
Gabe had no option but to collect the cup from Jasmine and she kept her head on the bar table
"Jasmine let's go home," Gabe said but got no reply from Jasmine because she was already asleep. He carried her in his arms and headed to her room. The bartender shook his head at the two of them as Gabe left with her in his arms. Gabe took Jasmine into her room but before he could put her down she threw up on him
"Eww," Gabe said looking at his suit which was soaked in her vomit dropping her on her bed he took off his suit touching her forehead he whispered goodnight into her ear getting up to leave Jasmine said
"Please don't leave me, Gabe," Jasmine said unconsciously as she held on to Gabe's arms.
