The coronation day
"What the hell? Alpha why did you have to mind linking me so early by 4:00 AM huh? You know very much how I love my sleep, what is it that you want?"
"Eric today is the day we announce and introduce to the whole pack that Clara is their Luna so make preparations for that"
"And you couldn't wait till morning to tell me that?"
"It couldn't wait till morning"
"Why is that?"
"Because someone attacked the Luna all because she is yet to be coroneted"
"Attack? What do you mean by that? Who would dare do that, did she say?"
"She didn't, that's why I need to make it known soon enough so that whoever dares pull a stunt on her like that again will attract death"
"An open attack on the Luna, that's insane anyways I will do as you have commanded, Alpha anything else?"
"Nothing more just that, and oh we will be doing it a little different from what they know, no rituals okay?"
"I got it, it's going to be a celebration and hopefully nothing will ruin it," Eric said
"That's my beta," Liam said enthusiastically
"Oh, now I am your beta huh? Since when did you spend time with me lately? Beta my foot tsk more like a stranger" Eric sneered
"Come on don't be like that" Liam said
"Don't be like what exactly?" Eric asked to feel
"You being all jealous and stuff it doesn't suit you, buddy"
"Just shut up will you, why in goddesses' name would I be jealous of my Luna? I am only angry at the fact that my friend has abandoned our friendship all because he has found a mate nothing more"
"Okay chill am still here, I know I have kind of been distant lately but I am doing this for her so relax when she is used to how things work around here I will let you know"
"Fine just get off my head, I got to get to work"
Eric left Liam's room and heads to Gabe's
"Hey, it's time we announce to the whole town that there is a party tonight and it's the official coronation of Clara as the Luna"
"Oh good heavens Eric it's still so early I am so tired right now," Gabe said yawning
"Tell me about it, at exactly 4:00 AM this morning Liam woke me up with his silly voice and called me into his room to give this ridiculous assignment, and am not going to go through this alone," Eric said with mischief written all over his face
"Well am not in the mood to get up right now so one more hour" Gabe retorted
"Come on get up, will you? I need your help right now" Eric said getting Gabe's blanket off him
"Eric I already told you 1 more hour" Gabe yelled at him so he let him be and said,
"Aha I know what to do then, since you bailed on me I'll find someone else to help instead"
"I didn't bail on you, I just need an hour to be right there with you I promise," Gabe said sleepy-eyed, and went back to bed he was really stressed out.
Eric then went to Jasmine's room, fortunately for him, she was already up and was about to go jogging.
"Hey Jasi, morning"
"Morning Eric, why are you up so early?"
"Ah tell me about it, it's your brother and my friend Liam again, of course, stressing me out as always, anyways I need your help"
"Whoa!! What's up?" Jasmine asked
"It's coronation day," Eric said
"Yeah, Liam did mention it to me sometime last week so what do you need me for?"
"I need your help, in announcing to everyone in the pack that today is the day they'll have a Luna"
"Huh!! Not again I really suck at talking to people about some announcements you know"
"What don't you even dare bail on me too else I will purposely not do anything"
"Oh someone already did bail on you isn't it?"
"Yeah Gabe is still sleeping, he is kind of stressed out I understand that. But he'll be here in an hour"
This revelation made Jasmine's heart beat a little in her chest and she doesn't know why whenever that guy's name is mentioned or when she sets eyes on him she gets affected.
"Yeah sure, I guess I will help you out but I have a great idea"
"Which is?"
"Rather than go knocking on their doors, why not announce that every wolf young and old should gather at the square by 9:00 AM so you'll give the announcement there?"
"You truly have a very wise head on your shoulders Jasi, I don't know what I would do without you"
"But of course, so you'll have to wait when they turn in for training at the training ground then you'll announce to them there and there will be no training today so that everyone will be free to make preparations so that they'll tell their families and their families will, in turn, tell others so they'll turn up in the evening to witness the coronation and they can also help put up some decorations," Jasmine said
"Thanks come here" Eric hugged her affectionately.
"Come on take a breather you are stressed out too let's go jog and get those stress off your cute self"
"Awwn my cute friend cares about me, but are you sure you can outrun me? Remember no one can"
"Tsk are you gloating right now? Don't be surprised when I actually beat you in this"
"All talk and no wins makes Jasi a..."
"Don't even dare complete that statement"
"Ha-ha come on let's go"
So they run out for a jog.
From Liam's balcony, he saw his little sister and best friend running. He missed that, but he'd rather spend his days with Luna on his laps.

At the training ground, Beta Eric and Jasmine were both standing side by side as everyone who was up for training arrived and he then started to give an unusual speech.
So it got everyone curious as to what that is,
"Every one of you, there is an announcement that needs your attention including young and old to participate in. It's a day in all werewolves' lives that's the most important, you may be wondering what that is I suppose"
"Yeah"
"Yeah we are curious"
"What's that?"
Everyone was murmuring amongst themselves.
"Settle down guys" Jasmine commanded and everyone quickly stopped talking
"Well, today is the day every one of you gets to help out in preparing for a grand party. It's the day we all have been eagerly waiting for, it's the coronation day of our beloved Alpha's very own fated Luna''
"Whoa!!! *Whistles* yeah come on" People chorused amongst themselves.
"And today there will be no training so everyone can be free to help out in the preparations so today is your day off because tonight we party. Unlock your party spirit and make this day wonderful for our beloved Alpha"
"Great," they said with excitement
"Also it's going to be different, no rituals, just more like an introduction to every one of you so that you get familiar with your Luna and she in turn get familiar with her new family

There was a loud uproar of excitement among the wolves present at the training ground that morning. After they were dispersed everyone went home. Those hoping some guys will look their way if they look presentable or sexy enough tonight quickly rushed to the market so they can look good and make heads turn while others are about to go to salons to get their hair and nails done for the day. Since my identity Luna will be made known today, the party is going to be fun.
"Oh great I am sure it's that beauty that's going to be made our Luna"
"Though I am yet to see what she looks like I am sure the goddess will grant us a beauty for a Luna"
"She could be of a rare breed"
The elders began talking amongst themselves.
Elder Jayden, always the odd one among them, wasn't around.
"Elder Jayden is never around when you need him the most"
"He is a weird elder don't know why he likes being alone"
"Anyways back to what we were discussing"
"Yeah she should be a rare breed because we don't have that in our town yet"
Just then Alpha Liam walked in, and all the elders immediately stopped talking and bowed down as he walked past them to sit on his chair.
The older elder amongst them then said
"Alpha we want to congratulate you on finding your Luna"
"Congratulations on finding your Luna" All the other elders chorused.
"Thank you, have your seats"
They all sat down and one of them asked again
"Alpha, why is there a rumor that there will be no rituals?"
"Exactly, I was thinking about the same thing. The rituals are never abandoned Alpha"
"Well, I don't think the rituals should be abolished this time of the year"
"Yeah it shouldn't be abolished alpha"
They all began bickering
"Enough every one of you" Liam yelled and they all shut their mouths cause they know better than to keep talking about their age.
Liam then continued and said
"The reason why the rumors are there is because I made it happen. There will be no rituals because she is not a werewolf"
"Oh I knew it, she must be a very rare breed, maybe a witch or Jaguar which is going to make the wolf family happy," an elder said with all confidence and the rest began laughing and nodding in agreement. While thanking the goddess.
One even went the extra mile of kneeling down and thanking the goddess for bringing a rare breed into their pack. What a dramatic scene to behold.
Liam just sat there watching them display their madness.
"Are you all done making your assumptions and wild guesses?"
"Sorry Alpha, we will let you speak"
"Good, now sit upright and listen to me because I'm not here to watch you all act all crazy" Liam said with his domineering tone.
"Sorry Alpha we were just excited"
"Your Luna to be is not a werewolf, a Jaguar, or a witch."
This revelation took them all by surprise because they had no idea what she could be. That they were all curious as to what she could be.
"Your Luna to be is a human" Liam said, stood up, and left them to their thoughts
"What? A human?
"She is just a mere human?"
"Preposterous, this is really ridiculous"
"My thoughts exactly, how can she protect the pack and watch over us?"
"This must be a dream somebody wakes me up"
That was how the elders kept ranting amongst themselves in disapproval.
"What did the elders say?" Eric asked as soon as he set his eyes on Liam
"Huh those old crooks are something else, they were all making silly assumptions"
"Ha-ha assumptions like what? She is a mermaid?"
"They thought she was a Jaguar or something"
"Hahaha I knew they were going to do that, so what did they say when you revealed to them that she is human? What was their reaction? Bet they have petrified hahaha" Eric said while laughing
"Shut up Eric, how are the preparations for tonight coming along"
"Going great actually, with Jasmine's and Gabe's help it is going just fine"
"I so much appreciate bro, it means a whole lot for me"
"It's nothing, I got you all through even the wedding we got you"
"Now I am convinced there is nothing I can do without you"
"Are you just realizing that?"
"Ha-ha don't worry when you find a mate I may just impute some of my skills into making your day slightly worth celebrating" they both laughed heartily.
