Gabe walked in to see Eric lying on the bed, immediately Eric saw him he sat up and asked
"How did it go?"
"At first horrible, later better what about you?"
"I think he is in," Eric said
"Good what we have to do now is this. Tomorrow evening if they still don't act like they know each other. We will have to step in"
"Step in how?"
"Since she cares about him (Alpha Liam) and doesn't wish for him to get hurt. Then Liam will have to get hurt pretty bad so she can go into his room and take care of him. What do you think of Eric?" Gabe asked to know if his suggestion sounds childish and uncalled for.
"Hmm at this point I am in for anything just want to see them make up and get together. Because I am tired of keeping tabs on Liam all the time, its high time Clara does her job" Eric said highly stressed out
"Exactly am tired of being the middleman in their love affairs," Gabe said in support of Eric's response.
"Common let's go to bed tomorrow we'll have to see how it plays out"
So they slept off due to tiredness. It has been a hectic day for those four.

Lisa and her sister are at it again, bickering over some issues when it's hardly dawn due to the noise Eric woke up because the voices are disturbing his mind he could hear words like
"Leave the Alpha alone he already said he has a mate and you are not his. Don't go pestering him again with your lousy selfish self"
"Really? All of a sudden you are taking his side so you'll be viewed as the good one amongst us isn't it? Well I don't care, I will be sure to follow my heart"
"Do well to do that you imbecile and see where it gets you"
Eric couldn't take it anymore he quickly dashed out to their homes and took them to the punishment center, to await their judgment. He has a lot on his mind right now about how to make his alpha marry his Luna and not focus or waste precious time on petty issues like this acclaimed self-love.
After locking them in different rooms, in the punishment center. He went back to his room to lay down on his bed to await morning he can take his breakfast and make plans on how those stubborn friends of his will get back together. So he is in no mood to stress his alpha and himself over little issues of teenagers in his pack.
Finally, it was morning, Eric's maid already brought them breakfast, so they ate with all manner of greed since they slept on empty stomachs last night.
It was fried eggs, baked bread, Jam and butter, hot tea, noodles as well as orange juice. So they ate to their fill.
Meanwhile, in Liam's room, he is not in the mood to eat due to last night's heavy drinking he just laid there with not much appetite.
Eric walked in and saw how he was at the moment then headed back to Gabe to tell him of his latest findings.
"Gabe, he isn't eating, what do we do?"
"We could try forcing him to eat, but that isn't going to work, how about we push Clara to him?"
"How do we go about that?"
"I have a suggestion it's time for our next plan"
"Which is?"
"You go back to his room and tell him to look tattered because I am bringing Clara to him"
"But he already looks tattered even worse"
"Then good, just tell him Clara will be coming up so if possible he should act sick in addition to it"
"Well let's go"
Eric and Gabe each left their rooms to put their first plan into motion.
"Liam it's time for our first plan, get ready Clara will be here soon. Gabe is handling that '' Eric said about leaving when Liam called out with a weak voice.
"She is coming here? But look at me I am not fit to see her"
"Exactly, seeing you down like this will make her come running to you just stay this way"
"Okay then," Liam said, a little glad but weak and down because she isn't here with him.
After that Eric left...
"Clara, why are you still sulking?"
"Hi Gabe"
"Perhaps, is it because of him again? Why can't you just go up to see him? Time is precious, why not spend it with the one we love?"
Clara didn't say anything... So Gabe spoke up again.
"Clara, what's wrong? What's really going on with y..?
Before he could complete his statement Eric ran into the room panting and said
"Clara, Liam has fallen sick, he is dead drunk. He needs you right now?"
"What?" Clara said and the next thing to be seen was Clara was already outside her room and running upstairs without a second thought.
Gabe and Eric smiled and shook hands, then ran after her so that she didn't suspect anything.
Clara opened the door to see the love of her life on the bed all drained out. She busted into tears and couldn't contain her emotions anymore. She ran to the bed, Liam was reeking of alcohol but she didn't seem to care about it.
Amidst tears he said
"Liam, what's wrong? Why are you like this?" Liam remained silent, he didn't want to talk at all, because he was feigning his sleep so he shut his eyes really tight.
"Liam I am so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Liam, please get up, and open your eyes. I beg of you. Please don't do this."
Eric and Gabe were at the door grinning nonstop; they wanted to turn, then Clara called on Eric...
"Eric please help he really stinks he needs to wash up he reeks of alcohol"
"It's forbidden for someone else to wash him up when you are his Luna Clara am sorry but you'll have to do it."
Eric left with Gabe and they couldn't stop laughing excitedly as they raced to their rooms.
"Glad our plans to get them together in one room is done," Gabe said
"Yeah that went quite well," Eric said
"So what do we do now?"
"We wait to see how this turns out"
Liam's POV
I know this is affecting me and Cole because I feel weak, I just don't know how to get through this I miss Clara so much, why is it so hard to have her to myself? Just because of the arguments we had about the ice cream seller the other day, she left my room so she can get farther and farther away. I feel so messed up, I have a pack to run but I can't do that not in this state.
'Clara why? Why can't you just learn to love me? I want to get married to you. I want to always be by your side. You are my life and light gives me a chance. I really do love her, why can't she see that?'
While I was having such thoughts Eric just badged me. I was in no mood to talk to him, it better not be about morning reports because I might kill him.
But what he said caught my attention.
He told me to get ready to receive Clara.
Glad they were both looking out for me and noticing how downhearted I was, they are both working hard for us to be together. I appreciate them.
After saying that he wanted to leave so I had to ask him because I was confused why Clara would come up here. Because to be honest at the moment I am not fit to see anyone at the moment, most importantly her.
What he said next took me by surprise they must really be working on something big,
This is really serious,
"Okay then''
I'll just play along and see how it goes.
In less than thirty minutes I felt her presence. I felt Clara climbing the stairs, so I just shut my eyes like I was asleep.
Having her hands on me asking what was wrong, amidst tears would have woken me up but Cole held me back. My thoughts were interrupted by Cole saying
"Liam don't you dare open your eyes, this is why you never get the girls" Cole said mockingly
"Shut up, she is my Luna. I need to be truthful to her at all times"
"Really? How is that working out for you?"
"Shut it Cole what do you suggest I do? She is crying doesn't it hurt you that she is"
"Yes, it goes beyond words. I can hear her cry but let her suffer a little bit for hurting two individuals. Let's see how much she loves us. So let's wait and see, don't do anything stupid and watch. Gabe and Eric went through a lot for her to come running to us, let's not put to waste their hard work think" Cole said and I replied
"You are right, how she can get mad at us because of ice cream and move out, let her suffer a lot."
So Liam ended up shutting his eyes and began listening to what Clara had to say.
"Liam I am so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. Liam, please get up, and open your eyes. I beg of you. Please don't do this."
'I thought you didn't care? It's going to take a whole lot to make me forget about the pain you put me through love'
I felt Eric was by the door and someone else too I am sure that must be Gabe. I don't know what I would do without those two.
They were about to leave when Clara said something, about Eric helping her in getting me to shower. So I mind-linked Eric that he better not do something stupid, by agreeing. She must bath me up herself
"Eric doesn't even think about it," Liam said through a mind link
"Ha-ha naughty Alpha, I got it"
"Silly beta"
Eric then made up a story, he sure is so good at stuff like this.
"It's forbidden for someone else to wash him up when you are his Luna Clara am sorry but you'll have to do it."
So I had to mind link with him to say
"Good job beta"
"Whatever you owe me one"
With that they both left, leaving just me and Clara to ourselves which was the plan all along. Let's see how she handles this. Cause to be honest I am truly soaked in alcohol's stench. And staying longer in that stench would make me really sick.
She tried lifting me up but of course, I am too heavy for her. I guess it's time to open my eyes if this would ever lead to her bathing me. Clara bathed me oh I would kill for that chance so I started feigning talking in my sleep.
"No Clara... Don't leave me, don't go how...don't... Leave me...please...don't go..."
"Liam, I am here am not leaving you, I am here" those were her words trying to soothe me
This is so great, wish I could be this I'll forever.
"Over my living soul, you idiot" Cole yelled making me open my eyes cause I was shocked.
"Oh thank goodness you are awake, I am so glad you are okay?"
"Clara is that... that you?"
"Yes Liam it's me"
"Please don't leave me again, I am sorry please forgive me"
"If you want my forgiveness then you'll have to do something for me"
"What is it?" I asked lazily
"Go take a hot bath"
"But I am too weak"
"Come on, I'll help you up let's go"
Reluctantly Liam held onto her shoulders and she took him to the bathroom and placed him in the bathtub. Helped him remove his shirt and ran a hot bath for him. Clara was about to go when he held her back and said
"Bath me Clara"
"Huh? You must get to be kidding me"
"Why would I do that? I am serious I still feel dizzy"
"Okay you choose, let's make a deal how about if you bath yourself while I move back into the room or me help you wash up but remain in my room downstairs"
Immediately Liam entered the bathtub and Clara smiled and went downstairs for a huge tray of breakfast because she was kind of hungry she didn't take dinner last night.
After a while, Liam knew she was back from where she went and since he had taken his bath he intended for her to feed him until he was full. So for that to happen he had to slip and break a large mirror to make a loud noise. And to make his plan work he groaned loudly and this made Clara run into the bathroom saw him on the floor and blood streaming off his arms
"Oh no Liam what happened? Are you okay? Come on, let's get you out of here." He is so glad his plans worked out fine.
So he clung onto her with his bare chest this time, and Clara, oblivious to what he was thinking, took him to his bed and then ran down to tend to his wounds, not knowing he could heal quickly. So when she ran down for some bandage, he continued injuring that same place so that when she came back she would see an injury opening.
She came running back to him and wrapped the bandage around the injury. Seeing how she cared for him made him happy. He wanted to lie down after that.
"No no Liam you are to take breakfast before going to bed"
"No don't bother I am okay thanks" But then his stomach growled showing he was lying.
"Your stomach says otherwise come on don't starve yourself sit up" Clara commanded and Liam sat right up.
Clara sat beside him and served him his plate so that he could eat.
But he said he can't right now. So Clara had no choice but to feed him, herself and this made Liam really happy. They ate quietly after which Clara said,
"Liam, I am sorry for the other day for calling you a monster and everything. It's just that he has been too much for me to take in, the fact that you called me your girlfriend took me off guard because you haven't officially asked me out yet so it took me by surprise that I lashed out and got angry at you. I'm so sorry."
